While visiting my uncle in Thousand Oaks, our “go to” choice for breakfast is Eggs ‘n Things. Since we are on vacation, we’ve never made it in time for the “Early Bird Specials,” however, we’ve never been disappointed with our choices from the many regular offerings— Omelettes, Scrambles, French toast, etc. They offer a variety of compliment sides (potatoes, fresh... Best to go during a weekday. Fast Service & Comfort Food of breakfast, breakfast, breakfast. Though members of our family do sometimes order one of the burgers. A good place to come after kids' soccer games, before plowing the garden over, after a long bike ride or workout at the gym. Busy, loud with voices, families, and kitchen commotion. Even... More

The service is lightning quick and so friendly. Don't be scared away by a crowd outside; it moves fast! Great for kids, especially since they get a crepe to eat while waiting for their food.

My wife and I went there for lunch on a Monday. She had been here many times, usually with her friends, but this was my first time. She had the Tuna Melt with fries - Very good - and I had the Ruebun on Sauerkraut with fresh fruit. The Rueben itself was good, but the Sauerkraut was too salty! Fresh... More

The Swedish pancakes were outstanding but could be made better with real preserves on top. The corned beef hash was falsely advertised as "homemade". Imagine my disappointment when served dog food instead. The coffe wasn't that good either. If this is the best Thousand Oaks has to offer, I'm out of here....

We visited Eggs 'N' Things last spring on the advice from many locals who adore it. Arrived at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, but they didn't open until 7:00. No problem -- we found a coffee at Starbucks across the street and waited until they opened. Strolled in and were seated for breakfast and then, 10 minutes later, were approached... More

Had a farewell breakfast with my dad here this morning, we were aware of the Camarillo store but not this one. It has the same high quality and tastee food that Eggs n Things are known for, a must eat at establishment! I just wish they had a location in Las Vegas. Best value for the money.

Love the place, love the service, and I'm not alone. It's been pretty crowded most times I've visited, and I wish it was open in the afternoon.

This is the absolute best you'll every find for an unforgettably delicious breakfast no matter which menu item you choose. The cooks are amazing; every item is cooked exactly like you ordered. And the waitresses and busboys are perfect and friendly with great personalities. the owes really care about you . . . and their employees. When their longtime manager... More

I don't really understand the hype of this place. I've been twice, and been underwhelmed with the food and service both times. The decor is ugly and outdated. I got the Eggs N Things Benedict the most recent time I was here and it had way to much hollandaise sauce on it and it was overly lemony. Maybe it is... More
