We just ate at the White Elephant and our experience tonight was abominable. We have been regular patrons since we were introduced to this restaurant. In the past six months we have gone to this restaurant at least monthly. In the past six weeks we have had two experiences with terrible service - but tonight was incomprehensible. After waiting nearly... More

My husband and I shared the beef salad with a light dressing, a green curry chicken with snap peas and a great pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted so good we filled up fast and requested a doggy bag!

We had a variety of dishes and all were prepared very nicely and the food quality was excellent. The soups, curries, and the sticky rice were all very delicious. I would definitely go back again when in the area. Our servers and waitstaff were friendly and attentive. A very nice experience.

Bebop music while your dining - horrible tasteless broth - greasy and mushy overcooked Drunken Noodles - kitsch decor - spices available on request - good luck.

After living here in TO for over 25 years, I have found this the best for this type of food. They serve real Thai food with index ratings for heat by spicing it, not just adding peppers. I have had been in some of the best Thai restaurants from Boston to West LA going back 35 years. I remember when... More

This is a great, local family restaurant. Nothing fancy, and the restaurant environment isn't special, but it is a go-to for us both dine-in and take-out. They will customize your order to accommodate vegan or vegetarians -- the veggie green curry is even better than if you get it with chicken!

My wife, myself and our daughter had dinner at White Elephant this past Saturday night. The place is small and intimate. We ordered spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and a chicken dish. The food was very good and very fresh. The meal was followed by coconut ice cream with fried banana. The dessert was not as good as the dinner.... More

Good food. Good service. I am glad they have real coconut water. Their pineapple fried rice comes in pineapple shell.

We loved the food here. I got the green curry and it was awesome! Best Thai food ever! Husband got the seafood platter and it was also fantastic. The waitstaff were very friendly and came around often to see if we needed anything. Really impressed. Next time we are out here we will stop to eat here!
