A family tradition

Not the kind of place you would ask about the year of the wine, but a dependable locals hang out. We always share the Caesar salad and the meat lasagna. Came with friends who had a salad a and the meat sauce pasta between them. Desserts are tempting but we resist.

Excellent small place with little ambience but great homemade food and good service. Try the eggplant parmesan. We go to this place often.

Good, but not really all that memorable. I've had the Alfredo a few times which is a little bland even with green Chile, but actually taste better cold, strange. The lasagna, pretty standard lasagna. And the salad with breaded chicken and Angel hair pasta, which was really goo. Gralic bread is better here then most places.

We enjoyed a tasty Italian dinner in this casual popular restaurant. There is a good variety at reasonable prices. We had good service even though there was a 30 minute wait on a Friday night.

Piccolino, though it's also a very nice place to sit and be served in a casual environment (weekdays recommended, much less likely to be a wait) has become our favorite option for take-out. I usually get the meat lasagna, my wife the chicken or veal piccata. Both are dependably good.

This is a small, casual hometown restaurant that serves very delicious meals. I've had salads, typical Italian fare, seafood, and steak--all prepared perfectly!

Terrible service, enormous menu, cooks that are not trained. no matter what you order it tastes the same. Although they describe a multitude of sauces, there are really only two - canned tomato sauce and creamy sauce. Cheap but even then it's a waste of money

Had dinner here with friends while visiting the city. The food is quite good but the place looks like a former fast food restaurant from the outside and inside. We had lasagna and eggplant Parmesan and both were very good. They were moving people through quickly so we didn't feel comfortable sitting and relaxing over our meal. The decor was... More

I was not looking for fine dining. By that I mean I didn't want fancy just good. By the reviews I read this met the criteria. This place is in an old fast food place. Not large but nice it pulls it off good. Seated myself right away and got served quickly. The service was very good. The food was... More

My wife and I moved to Santa Fe last year, and had been looking for a good Italian restaurant for our weekly weekend "date night". There are definitely great, higher priced Italian restaurants (with smaller portions, I might add) in Santa Fe, but Piccolino is the type of neighborhood, family place that we like. Friendly staff, excellent food, fair prices,... More
