I love this place BUT....

Each time I visit. I go to The Teahouse because of the wonderful food BUT, the service is not a big favorite of mine. It is not because the staff is friendly but it all takes SO LONG so, be prepared to not be in a hurry when you go.

Six of us dined here as a first stop before walking "down" Canyon Rd. to explore the galleries. The weather was perfect for outside dining, and the food was wonderful. This is not a place to eat if you are in a hurry. The inside dining areas were also very attractive. The menu has a lot of choices. I would... More

We sat down in the courtyard for a late lunch. The iris were blooming and weather was perfect. Not sure what happened to our order as lunch for 4 was delivered 45 minutes later. Lunch itself was delightful. Lots of interesting choices and an overwhelming selection of great tea. I would definitely visit again, but clear my calendar for the... More

The Teahouse is, as others have noted, a perfect place to take a break from all the great art on Canyon Road. We have stopped in before on previous trips and always look forward to coming back this way. This time we shared a huge and delicious strawberry shortcake and coffee, sitting outside in the courtyard. The service is great... More

Great atmosphere, great staff and great food! I started my day on Canyon road here with coffee and a small breakfast. Both set the bar high for the rest of my day. Sitting outside was such a treat but the inside is really welcoming and warm as well!

Two of us stopped here for lunch after walking up Canyon Road. The Teahouse is located at the end of the galleries and therefore is the perfect place to take a break. This cafe also has delicious eats and drinks in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The house has several small rooms that are nicely decorated plus a patio area... More

Stopped in for a snack after hiking up canyon road going into all the art shops on the walk up. The scones were fresh and very tasty and went well with an egg cream. Staff is very pleasant.

We sat outside, shaded under the leafy breeze and ate the best eggplant parmigiana dish I have ever been served. The smell of a thousand tea leaves and fresh cuisine was sensual and renewing for our late afternoon psyches! The spicy, sausage lasagne was excellent and with a great bottle of "The Show" pinot noir our bill with tip was... More

The lunch selection is wide and exciting, the execution surprisingly good for a tea house. Perfect location after a long walk on Canyon Road. The atmosphere is as authentic as the surroundings and the clientele. Much more than a tea house! bravo!

This was a great find, recommended by the owner of our Airbnb. The service was just ok (hard to get the server to smile). But the food was fresh, filling and worked for a vegetarian and vegan.
