Horseman's Haven isn't anything fancy, but if you are looking for a good solid meal of New Mexican food, at a reasonable price, by a local family who has been in business for awhile, then this is your place. Spent the night in Santa Fe on the way to Pagosa Springs. We had a great meal, sitting by the fireplace. Interesting drink selection and concoctions. The food was really well prepared, but very spicy verde dishes. Be prepared for some heat, but we really loved the food. Our server helpful and gery informative regarding both the drinks and food.

We drive by this small cafe all the time heading down to the plaza. There are always cars so this morning before making the drive back to Texas we decided to give it a whirl. We both ordered the huevos rancheros special that came with a small steak. WOW! Everything was cooked to perfection. The red and green chile was... More

We went by for a late lunch recently after hearing lots of great reviews. It was quite busy, but we were well taken care of by the wait staff. No complaints there. For typical Tex- Mex food, this place is worth a visit. It just didn't seem more than the average Tex-Mex restaurant to us.

This is a very unassuming diner in appearance but you get a lot for your dollar. I had a green chili burger which was more than I could eat. The chili is spicy so had it on the side. Service was friendly and efficient.

I will stop off to order to go food every 2 weeks. Great red chile items with traditional New Mexican flavors. Incredible Posole! Wonderful sopaipillas. Be careful when asking for HOT green chile. It is that and then some.

This is a great little diner on the Southeast end of Cerrillos, a little tucked back and easy to overlook. Modest and unassuming, this diner consisted of entirely gracious Hispanic staff as well as clientele who appeared mostly local. The menu is relatively simple; however, I would highly recommend the combination platter. Enchiladas are made with blue corn tortillas and... More

Excellent dive for breakfast and lunch. If we have not had a meal there on a visit to Santa Fe, we stop by and load up for the week. Excellent carne adovado... Love the combo plates for lunch and the great breakfast burritos. Beware the hot green chile's are HOT!!!

Have eaten here for years but rediscovered it on recent trip back to Santa Fe. Generous portions and tasty, tasty breakfast burritos. And they have darn good burgers too. Who knew? Beware, though, their green chili packs a punch! Local's place. Good value.
