We were looking for a classic NM breakfast with a blue collar twist. This gem is hidden a bit back from heavily travelled Cerillos Rd. and can easily be missed. DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE! The menu is pretty standard classic NM breakfast fare with eggs, meats, & potatoes topped with green or red chili. Everything is quickly cooked to order... More

Usually have at least one breakfast here per month. Always great, although it can get crowded on Sunday mornings. Never had a bad meal here. If you like green chile, this is your place. Be warned, the green chile is HOT, just the way I like it.

Great food - love the blue tortillas. The place looks a little bit like a dive, but don't let that scare you away from the food!

If you enjoy extremely hot chile this is the only place in town to get it. It is hot so order it on the side. Even though it is hot I found myself pouring more and more on my meal. Weekend breakfast specials are a great bargain. If you go by for lunch the burger is one of the better... More

The food is good and the service is fast and friendly. The green chile is very good, but also very hot I order it on the side.

Great little "greasy spoon" the shuttle driver called it! Good food, lots of food! I had the breakfast burrito. : )

This place was totally unexpected. Had we not read someone else's comment that this was a Mexican restaurant, we would have gone right by it and missed some of the best food around. The setting is more like an old diner or cafeteria, no pretense here. And, no alcoholic beverages. We were surprised to find posole on the menu. Not... More

A bit beyond the main tourist area, but absolutely worth visiting- often! Not a fancy hype spot. Always plenty of patrons, locals. That's how I discovered it, from a local. Recipes from grand mom, family owned and operated. Best chili anywhere I tried! Specials are offered daily. Even though the place was always busy seating and service was quick. Servings... More

Horseman's Haven serves authentic New Mexican food. Prices are reasonable. Portions are big. Located by a gas station where it's been for decades it's not a fancy place (the original building was a lot more charming). The decor is a bit long in the tooth and feels like it's not being maintained. The green chile is very good and spicy.... More
