Yep, it's spicy alright

Large meal of Carne Avovada was good, but a little too salty. Priced right for the quality and quantity. I immediately ate an antacid chaser, just in case.

We had passed this place a hundred times over, even bought gas at the station next door, until we saw a review on triple D, with Guy saying how great it is, we had to try it. As part of a Sunday motorcycle ride we entered to find a full house of locals sharing tables and enjoying big plates of... More

I really enjoyed lunch -- I am no expert, but this seemed like a truly authentic Mexican dining experience. Family-run, busy, comfortable, and really good food. Try it!!

I really enjoyed the real Mexican food. This restaurant was recommended to us and I can see why. Its a little café,kind of family style. The only thing, they don't serve alcohol. Beer would be really nice and helpful after tasting the green chili sauce for the first time.

I wanted to try this place after reading some rave reviews. I found it to be just ok. The female server would be much better suited to a career that does not involve serving the public directly on the front lines! Service in general was slow. The food was good quality but nothing special. The cleaning products the used in... More

Anthony Bourdain turned me on to this restaurant...He did a "Parts Unknown" episode in New Mexico. During the taping, he said the chili was blowing his face off. So, I had to try it and I made a visit. He was right! And it is very tasty! But be careful...ask which is the hottest and go from there. Tony had... More

I had driven past this place many times to stop at the gas station or ATM that share the parking lot. I was staying at a hotel nearby and was looking for a local place that was walking distance. As past reviewers mentioned, the place is dated and nothing fancy, but the portions are large and red chile salsa is... More

This is not a fancy location, but a family run authentic New Mexican cuisine cafe. You will find lots of regular diners here, along with great prices, tasty affordable specials, and delicious hot chili. Their regular green chili is hotter than nearly all restaurants in Santa fe, and an extra hot version is also available. If you are unsure of... More

I had heard how great the chile was so I had to try. I'm embarrassed to say I grew up here and had never been to eat there. It was delicious, the chile was amazing, the service was great. It's absolutely a popular place. I'm sure their effort goes into the food and the service, don't expect great ambience or... More

We had a late breakfast/brunch on Sunday. It was fairly busy (almost full) but we got a table quickly. The breakfast burrito with green chili was really good but beware - the green chili is hot and I am used to hot chili so when I say it was hot - I mean it for those of you who are... More
