Great, flavorful Mexican food

Stopped in for lunch, and stumbled on the greatest Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Flavorful, and spicy. Now, I'm used to Mexican food on the East Coast, so I'm not sure if every place out here is as good as this, or if it's just Los Potrillos, but the food here is incredible. I'm used to... read more

Food was really good but the service is barely average and would discourage us from returning. As for the host, get a happy pill. Not often you can find cabaret and it would cause us to return. Also, corn tortillas were fantastic...

Had lunch at this place when I went to Santa Fe for a few days. It was not bad , but not great either. I felt the salsa was subpar and that usually sends me off the wrong direction. Just my experience.

Loved the decorations inside. Staff attention was ok. Menu was so dirty (splashed all over with food) and peeling, you couldn't read parts of it. Chips cold and somewhat stale. Three salsas - only one had any heat despite being extremely watery, the other two had no flavor (or heat) at all - all three were very watery. Agave wine... More

The building is old and not well kept. It is also not especially clean. The guacamole was very good but we found everything else to be just okay or less. The margaritas were watery and unimpressive. There are many other better options available in the area.

We stopped here on a short visit to Sante Fe, each of our meals was well prepared and tasty. The three kinds of salsa with Chips were a nice treat and each were good in their own way. Our margaritas were also prepared well and the staff friendly.

It's not close to the plaza or New Mexican food, but we were very pleased with the food and service. They serve 3 different kinds of salsas with the chips. The avocado salsa was my favorite. I was also pleased to see more options than expected for non-meat eaters. The veggie burrito was really good! Every one of us enjoyed... More

This place is great. They have excellent Margarita's and draft beer and an extensive menu with many choices that are not normally found in most Mexican restaurants, for example, cabrito. The food is tasty, the service excellent, and the ambience is great. We came here early (around 5 PM) on a weekday outside the tourist season - still, when we... More
