we went to this restaurant after being told by the front desk of a hotel it was really good. We ordered the fajitas and carne asada. The fajitas had no flavor at all. The food tasted old and spoiled. We came to Santa Fe for really good food and this was the first place we ate at needless to say... More

Went to dinner here this week while in town on business. Found this place by looking up restaurants on Trip Advisor, if you travel a lot like I do, Trip Advisor will quickly become your best friend. Upon arrival the restaurant was full and I had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The service was quick and the... More

This place was recommended during our trip to santa fe. At first I was a little turned off by the place because it took about 15 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted something to drink. Lucky the taste of their food made up for their lack of staff. I had "The General" and boy did it come with... More

Whenever I'm craving fajitas packed with flavor I go to Los Potrillos. The fajitas here are so good that they are something you will never forget. The seasoning is perfect and the texture of the meat is excellent. Can't wait to go have some more very soon!

Just happened to stop here and glad we did. The mixed fajitas had a great flavor and plenty of food. Also had the enchiladas de colores which was three different types smothered in red and green sauce, great flavor. The chips and three different salsas were fresh and crisp. Only complaint was the service was a little slow but worth... More

We were in Santa Fe for three days, visiting friends - who recommended Los Potrillos as being as genuine and authentic as it gets... sure enough it was, and great value. The atmosphere was great and the food matched it. Service great. Strongly recommended it for the family!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Los Potrillos. The food is interior Mexico style. Servings were very generous, service prompt and attentive, prices were very reasonable for our meal. We plan to return when we visit Santa Fe in the future.

This place offers the real flavors of Mexican cooking, lots of fresh ingredients, NOT lots of heat covering a lack of flavor. If you like it hot, ask. You can get ordinary or you can go for adventure! Read through the menu. Very busy with lots of local families and visitors alike. Friendly service. Interesting horse theme atmosphere. Yes, I... Heading to plaza, saw their sign and told friend driving to STOP! Time to eat :) I'd heard from local friends how good this place was. Boy howdy, their cabrito sure was tasty. Don't find it much at home, so it hit the spot for sure :)

Los Potrillos (“The Colts” or “The Foals”) is a good Mexican restaurant located about two miles from the Santa Fe Plaza, thus priced quite a bit lower than similar fare near the Plaza. We were sent there by a local, and there appeared to be many local people there, plus tourists. The large menu is interesting and well-executed, and the... More
