I took 46 guests - yes, 46 - an environmental education seminar of students to Annapurna for lunch, and they came away raving. And that includes raves from the 23 vegetarians in the group. The fragrances from the kitchen combined with the soft sitar music made it a wonderful time spent. The manager, Prakash, is an excellent host, and his... More

This place was a huge surprise, possibly Santa Fe's best kept secret. It doesn't get a lot of publicity, and the only person who ever mentioned it to me is someone who went to the Albuquerque location. Good thing I listen to her because the food is amazing and I've never tasted anything like it. Everything I tasted from my... More

I don't often visit purely vegetarian restaurants, but I was pleased with the food here. I ordered the special of the day - a wrap with lots of ingredients and a nice sauce, and a cup of squash soup. The wrap was hot, made to order, tasty. The soup was sweet and tasted of carrots, not to my liking. They... More

I dad lunch at Annapurna's in Santa Fe and enjoyed the food. This is a self service restaurant. They have menu's available and your order at the counter. I am not an expert in Indian cuisine and could not tell you the difference between an idlis and an vidai. I can say that I enjoyed the food. Now looking at... More

You might be surprised if you try to find this place that it is located outside the main town center in sort of a strip mall - but don't let that fool you. This place has AMAZING food and is frequented by the locals. The general cuisine is Indian and most of it is vegan and gluten-free, so if you... More

Very good food, interesting options, perfect for vegetarians, as is our son. I liked the atmosphere, and food also.

The quality of the ingredients is high and so are the prices. I find the food is not particularly delicious or tasty here and yet many of my dearest friends say this is their favorite place of all in the city of Santa Fe.

I had the Kitchari in half an acorn squash topped with dried cranberries and nuts. All doshas were very satisfied! Huge potions and great value. Staff is beyond wonderful. Toured the Ayruveda Center next door - they hold cooking classes and everything is so clean and just brilliant. The chai and desserts were perfect. Even if you aren't vegetarian or... More

Driving south into Santa Fe on I-25, we spotted a billboard for Annapurna. We thought a healing vegetarian meal might be just the right medicine for the upset stomach I was suffering at that moment. And was it ever! Remarkably tasty dishes and a pot of ginger-lemon tea calmed the queasiness and warmed the spirit. We've decided to make a... More

I hover between a 3 and a 4 for Annapurna’s, but give the doubt to the higher number. Annapurna’s used to be a really, really good restaurant when it was sited next to the Co-op on Alameda (where there is an upscale meat market now), but they had a fire and were closed for about a year. When it reopened... More
