My favorite chef

If you pine for real Spanish dishes from an authentic chef, this is the place for you. Small space but excellent Spanish flavors for the discriminating palette.

Came with friends as part of a longer weekend in Santa Fe. Great food, attentive staff - Hayden was a true star providing insightful knowledge of both the menu, the Wine and Santa Fe! Great place for a relaxed evening with friends!!

We love coming here for lunch. The menu selections range from light & tasty, to savory & dense. I would suggest ordering 4 - 6 items and enjoy the exploring and sharing experience. The staff has always been wonderful, professional, and helpful with every aspect of our dining at LA Boca. Now the reason for the title "In the cut",... More

I ate lunch here with two friends. Although this is a tapas bar there are several other choices available. The service is excellent and the menu features several unique dishes. In addition there is a changing daily special menu. The noise level is low to moderate so that conversation is usually easy.

This place has a terrific selection of tapas that we most eagerly wolfed down. We started with the grilled artichokes with goat cheese which was cooked perfectly. We matched this with the Mediterranean salad to get our greens and this had a wonderful honey vinaigrette dressing. We asked our waiter for the ingredients but never got them. Oh well, it... More

The last time I ate here I was disappointed. But this time was wonderful. Good service. Good recommendations from the wait staff. Good food. Good wine. Very satisfied. Will certainly return again.

This restaurant had been highly recommended by our hotel and we had a referral card that indicated we would receive a special gift for visiting. We presented this to our waiter who declared he'd never heard of our contact or our hotel. We ordered, a bit nonplussed, a Mediterranean salad, fried Brussels sprouts, and rabbit sausage with tart cherries. The... More

We were walking down Marcy Street in our wanderings around Santa Fe and thought La Boca, featuring "modern Spanish cuisine," looked like a good spot for lunch. I guess we were a bit early for the lunch rush because we didn't have any trouble finding a table. Within a few minutes, however, the place was packed! Business people and groups... More

La Boca is a fine work of art. Positioned as a "small plate" Tapas bistro it is really a casual experiment in cleverly and deliciously constructed dishes. Fine grilled artichokes with goat cheese showed how those little babies cook up and set the mood for a excellent dinner. A special that night was scallops encrusted with churizo Rioja breadcumbs -... Always a great selection of wonderful tapas and a solid wine list. Fun sharing for two or more people. Lunch or dinner in just the right amount of goodness. Also, try the sherries.
