Terrific restaurant

Inventive variation on Spanish and Southwest American food. Loved starting off with a "Fino", dry sherry before moving on to a wonderful Spanish white wine. Four of us probably shared 8 or 10 plates, including dessert. Reservations a must.

Getting a reservation here can be challenging. Definitely make one in advance or you'll be sorry. We enjoyed a topnotch lunch here. I ordered off the prix-fixe menu and I'm glad I did. I received a bowl of a hearty beef and vegetable soup, an individual paella (served in a small paella pan) and a dessert for $17. The soup... More

Great food and atmosphere. We have eaten here many times and always find something delicious to suit our mood, from the nice variety of choices. Chef's specials are terrific.

We visited because of a recommendation and expected traditional cuisine and reasonable costs. Not so sure that's what we experienced. Was expensive for sure. We were expecting a few dishes with red or green chili, but didn't see anything like that on the menu. The food was good; just not what we had hoped. The wait staff was friendly and... More

la Boca is a eatery that caterers to adult fare (really not suitable for a family with children) as many of their dishes are small, very flavorable, but pricy. A Cubano sandwich with fries is $16.00 but is done with the finest ingredients. Their soup of the day is always inventive (think roasted beet soup) and if not very hungry... More

We had enjoyed La Boca the first time we ate dinner there a few months ago, and so we decided to give it a try for lunch. We arrived around 1:30 pm and there were several empty tables, so getting seated promptly was not a problem. The lunch menu is arranged with tapas in the left hand column, lunch entrees... More

My husband and I spent a week in Santa Fe in February, 2015 and our dinner at La Boca was the best meal we had. The dishes were inventive and delicious, the portions were good for small plates so that you could share and still feel like you got more than one bite of everything, the service was great. We... We made a reservation for 2:45 since they don't take happy hour reservations and we wanted to enjoy La Boca at a discounted rate. Happy hour goes from 3-5pm. Our party of 5 had a nice window spot. This is a small restaurant which is why reservations are critical. They have about 6 tapas happy hour specials along with beer... More

I love socialist lunch and this definitely reminds me of Barcelona. We arrived at 2:54pm and was told that there is was no lunch available ( it ends at 3:00pm). We managed to get lunch but the slight glitch weighed slightly during an otherwise wonderful lunch.

This small but unforgettable restaurant takes tapas to a new level. It is very hard to find a table but if you are on Santa Fe, you should not miss it. Everything we tried was perfectly made and a ingenious. I had a combination of octopus and pork that was out of this world and have not been able to... More
