I've eaten at La Boca about 10 times. The food is relatively good for an American Tapas restaurant but the staff are not so friendly and the prices are high especially as the portions being small require that you need to order quite a few resulting in an expensive bill. It's also quite crowded as the owner wanting to make... More

We went for Happy Hour to try the tapas. Been wanting to go for a long time and it was well worth it. The hummus trio was excellent, the red pepper and beet were our faves. The fingerling potatoes with garlic aoli was also very good. The steak tapa with caramel sauce was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth.... More

If your day of shopping or sight-seeing ends early and you want an inexpensive early dinner you will have a hard time finding a better place than La Boca during Happy Hour everyday between 3:00 and 5:00. The Hummus Trio, the Fried Egg with chorizo rioja and potatoes and the Bruschetta are personal favorites and a glass of the Ginger-Peach... More

I am not an expert in tapas or Spanish food, but I thought La Boca (which had some pretty sterling reviews) tried too hard. The tapas were overly large and overly complex. The simpler ones like the roasted artichokes tasted best; the more overwrought ones, like the blood sausage and dates were just not that good, IMHO--So sweet that you... More

This restaurant is on Marcy Street, a block off the plaza and easy to find. We didn't have a reservation and it was just after 6 p.m. on a Tuesday, so the hostess gave us a table at the back of the restaurant by the bar--not bad, and really much more private than the tables in the dining room. There... More

La Boca has been one of our favorite Santa Fe restaurant for years... consistently fun and exciting, intense flavors. But sadly we were so underwhelmed on our recent visit that we didn't even finish most of the dishes. Granted, it was a new summer menu, so maybe the wrinkles need to be ironed out, but some dishes were so inedible,... More

Very efficient service. The menu had multiple delicious options for all. The flank steak with "Carmel" sauce is fantastic. Don't let the name fool you. It paired nicely with the French Pinot from Burgundy.

This is the fourth or fifth time my wife and I have eaten here...and every time we do it reminds us of why we return. Let me start by saying it is a small eatery with tables very close together...so it gets REALLY noisy and a bit hard to hear. But that is a small price to pay for the... More

I can't say enough about the food, one of the best tapas, if not the best tapas restaurant I have experienced. Presentation was also nicely done!

I have been going to Santa Fe annually for over 15 years. We have already eaten at the usual tourist recommended restaurants but when La Boca first opened my son, who works in the food industry in Denver, recommended it. It has now become a regular spot to dine for us. The dishes are so unique and flavorful. The menu... More
