The uber delicious Southwestern Chef Salad comes with candied bacon. Wow!! Perfect balance of flavors and textures. The Bratwurst Burger tastes exactly like it sounds. We found the accompanying coleslaw tasteless (raw cabbage, anyone?), sent it back and received the most perfect plate of french fries known to northern New Mexico. For dessert, we tried the bread pudding and the... More

Took a girlfriend from out of town here. it was my first (and second) time here also. In the land of Margaritas- this place makes a most excellent and cold Martini. The best I've had in Santa Fe. The surroundings are elegant but not pretentious. One room has a nice view of the grounds. There are options for seating. The... More

This bar is gorgeous. There are several rooms with dark wood and beautiful furniture and comfortable couches to sit in. Great place to relax.

Partner and I visited the Staab House for dinner as part of a Road Scholar tour group in New Mexico. We're vegetarians, but even though the menu was preselected, there were excellent vegetarian options, including a corn soup and a risotto. Very attentive staff, lovely setting (even if it WAS snowing in April!). The meal was memorable - good sized... More

I sat at the bar for 20 mins for someone took my order. And then I had to flag them down again and again. Kind of a pain - but the food was good. I wouldnt' go out of my way to go again.

This restaurant is worth finding whether you stay at La Posada where it is located or not. Locals and tourists mix, at the bar, by the fireplace or tucked away in any of several "library" rooms filled with canvas paintings. The green chili stew is very inexpensive and tasty too. Seating varies and is cozy.

Need more time to get everything else on the menu! The nachos, and the bread pudding are superb! Love the fireside seating.

We stopped here after the canyon road walk for a drink and snacks with friends. Even though it was packed, the service was cheerful and attentive. Plenty of holiday cheer and fun. It was the biggest bar we found as most of the restaurants were tiny, if they had one.
