I am back from a retreat to Santa Fe. This is one of the restaurants that I ate at with my friend who recommended it. If I had read the Trip Advisor Reviews, I wouldn't have gone, but...I'm glad I went! Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and on the ball. I loved the brown rice tuna rolls that I ordered... More

The place is filthy and the wait staff is less than friendly. The sushi was tasteless and I was even concerned I might get food poisoning. I wiped up some water I had spilled on my table and my once white napkin had been turned black by the filth on the table's edge!

It is unfortunate that Osaka has good hours and has adequate food, because it encourages people to reward them by patronizing their establishment for appallingly bad service and management practices and outrageous prices. Their newest bonus is charging a mandatory 18% gratuity on take out orders. I am all about generous tipping when it is warranted, and always tip my... More

So our family was visiting Santa Fe and decided to eat dinner at Osaka off of Cerrillos Rd. We sat at the tappan grill and ordered 4 sushi rolls @ 7.95 each. Because we were on somewhat of a budget and we had small kids (aged 7, 9 and 11) we decided to split a kids meal between our 2... More

We eat Hibachi all the time but this was by far our worst experience we have ever had. We were on vacation and this was the worst resturaunt we had been to.The facility is dirty and the food was undercooked, they did not make enough fried rice for all of us that were at the table and the rice and... We ordered some food for carryout, only to discover back at home that 2 rolls in our order had not made it into the bag. We had not been charged, so apparently the clerk just forgot to order them. When we called he said he "owed" us a free roll the next time we were in. But, the shock was... More

I have gone to Osaka many times and had nothing but great experiences until lately. They had demonstrated an act of dishonesty and fraud. One evening my family and I had a nice dinner with nothing to complain about. I paid for the meal with a debit card and left the tip, the usually 18%, in cash. A couple days... More

Had a nice experience at Osaka recently. A high school team celebrating a victorious season, held a banquet by booking at Osaka. Parents and athletes treated to a Benihana-style cooking demonstration by well-trained chefs. Good portions of stir-fried food with lots of flavor. The salad was a little bland to start the meal, but the main courses of beef and... More
