Everything you want in a news stand plus some coffee and other things to nibble on. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Nice staff.

After waiting 15 min to order my ice mocha I waited another 15 minutes to get it. Watched them make it and now I know why so weak. For a large ice mocha only one shot of espresso. Also not cheap at over 4.00. Can't beat the patio and ambiance.

As we strolled up Canyon Road, we noted a directional sign by a side road to Garcia Street Books and decided to take a detour, because I can never pass an independent bookstore by. Downtown Subscription stands next to the bookstore and beckoned as a respite on the hot summer day. The shop sells oodles of magazines and newspapers but... More

Great coffee/espresso/etc. Lots of magazines and convenient to Canyon Road. We loved it because it was right up the street. They do have a lovely outdoor seating area, which is worth getting a drink and a magazine, and relaxing in.

The serve mediocre coffee - not very interesting pastries - kind of run down - they have a patio - I wouldn't make a effort to go again.

Staff is cold and today accused a woman of stealing a magazine. Unpleasant environment. There are better coffee shop choices in Santa Fe.

I didn't realize what was inside for a few days but noticed lots of cars, so I went in. It's primarily a coffee shop with excellent cakes and pastries plus a very good selection of newspapers and magazines. Indoor seating as well as seating in a large photo-worthy garden on the side. Next door is perhaps the best bookstore in... More

A popular spot with great indoor and outdoor seating. The bacon/swiss quiche was delicious as was the coffee. The only negative would be the parking--very awkward and tight.

Nice coffee and great garden to hang out in. Service is good. Big selection of magazines and next to 2 excellent book shops. Easy walk to the Plaza.
