We loved how quickly our food was prepared and happy with the quality and flavors. I was with two travel companions and we were all very pleased.

While on a cross-country trip with my boyfriend, we decided to stop here for breakfast before leaving for Arizona. I am an avid user of Yelp!, and this restaurant was highly rated. We decided to try it and we were not disappointed. I opted for the Maven's Gourmet Breakfast Burrito and my boyfriend got the Peach Compote French Toast. Both... More

Good thing I don't live in Santa Fe, because if I did, I'd drink this every morning. Have had copies in other locations outside SF, but Chocolate Maven's is the best. I don't even spend any time perusing anything else on the menu. No need.

We loved this place the first time we had breakfast here three years ago, so we made a special effort to come back even though some of the recent reviewers were not impressed. We were seated in the open air patio area, and the tables are quite crowded up there. Service was slow to begin with, and it took several... More

What a surprise! At first, we weren't sure what to think as we pulled into the lot of a warehouse. But once we stepped inside we were put at ease - with a very friendly staff to greet us, and delicious food. Try the Mexican hot chocolate - delicious! The kids LOVED that they got to watch the bakers prep... More

We've eaten at this gourmet style spot for breakfast in past years but this trip was a big disappointment. My partner had two banana walnut pancakes at a cost of $11 and I had chilaquiles which were tasteless. This is supposed to be crispy tortilla pieces soaked in a red chile sauce along with eggs and beans. These tasted as... More

I was visiting Santa Fe for vacation. I enjoy trying unique places when visiting a new area. I try not to eat in the same place twice. Not only did I eat at Chocolate Maven once, twice but three times! We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast that Chocolate Maven has to offer three mornings in a row. The coffee was excellent... More

We had the best seats in the house here! While the allure of watching the bakers make the many crossoints and yummy treats wore off - their amazing food is still making me drool! Try the almond crossoints and the eggsadilla! Perfect!

I just TRIED to finish the peach compote French toast that's stuffed with heavy cream, to no avail. It's a lot and oh, so good. It's nice sitting by the window watching them prep the pastries etc.

Went to this restaurant because someone sent a link to me before my trip. I am so glad that I opened the link, read about the place and decided to stop by. It's in a location that one would never expect to find such a place, glad I didn't let the surroundings affect my decision. The food was very good,... More
