It is a little out of the way but absolutely worth it. The breakfast is so delicious I loved the green eggs and sausage and the bakery goods you can purchase and take home - wow I loved the panettone and used it to make French toast

Word about this place hadn't gotten to us yet and we were our doing some stopping and shopping and I noticed the sign and walked down to the modest doorway. I should have noticed the "best of Santa Fe" string of signs but didn't and walked into a wonderfully warm - in all ways - bakery/cafe that really was magical,... More

With a cool window room where you can watch the bakers making loads of delicious pastries, you'll have to get something! You can get treats to go or enjoy something with a cup of piñon coffee in the store. They also serve great breakfasts and lunch!

A quaint and not-too-noisy environment for lunch with a good friend. The service was great and the food good (not amazing), but the chocolate croissants I took home were delicious. They have an impressive selection of baked goods.

I have never raved about the food at Chocolate Maven, BUT... they have a genuine HIGH TEA from 4:00 pm to 6:00 that is a real treat, and very fairly priced. This is a must if you are just a little romantic about days o' yor. The charm of the seating area is that one can watch the kitchen at... More

We only got pastries to go but I had the BEST chocolate croissant ever! My son had two different types of cookies and really liked them. I'll be dreaming of those croissants.

The deserts are good and the portions are large for the $6 price. I had a huge sandwich with a generous portion of cole slaw. The blackened fish sandwich dripped grease and was difficult to eat. I would not order it again. The cole slaw was bland but would probably be good if you ordered it with a side of... More

Having a very good meal, with the added attraction of the working bakery, makes this such a fun place for lunch! The food is consistently good...and be sure to try something fresh from the retail bakery in front.

This was a wonderful experience in Santa Fe. We were initially nervous that it is located in a warehouse, but once we got inside felt very comfortable. Our server was great. One item was brought out wrong (I ordered a caesar and received a greek salad) but it was really wonderful regardless. Dessert was also so yum. Really enjoyed this... More

I would go to Chocolate Maven to eat (especially brunch) every single time I went to Santa Fe! I love sitting at a table with a linen tablecloth by windows that look inside a working bakery. Wish I had their baking equipment and long tables for rolling out pastry dough! Terrific food, great service, and just fun! If you are... More
