Roll Out The Dough!

What a great dining experience. Breakfast was wonderful, The best chili relleno I have had so far. My husband had a ham steak and was very pleased. Service is excellent. The most fun was watching the bakers at work through a glass wall. They roll out yards of dough on long tables and then... read more

This was recommended by friends and we are so happy we took their advice. You can buy items to go but we decided to sit in the restaurant. We sat beside the window to the bakery and watched chocolate croissants being made. I ordered the Nova Scotia omelet with salmon and dill cream cheese and their potato smashers. My husband... More

Looks like nothing from the outside, but it's very well done inside, which makes you forget that it's inside a warehouse. You can sit in the restaurant and look through the glass and watch them making their wonderful baked goods. We ate there twice in 5 days, we liked it that much. Great food, fantastic baked goods, and great service!

Wonderful pastries that melt in your mouth. The prices are very reasonable too. It is in a warehouse so don't be alarmed when you drive up, inside is nice.

We received great service, as it wasn't too busy on a Wednesday morning. We enjoyed our view of the bakery in action as eight feet of dough was stretched, cut, rolled, and shaped into hundreds of pastries! Coffee was flavorful, green chile sausage was delightful, and the blue corn piñon pancakes were lightly drizzled in a dulce de leche (caramel)... More

I have been to Chocolate Maven several times now. The food is always wonderful and service has always been great! I'm a picky veggie so I really appreciate that the menu is well marked to let you know what is or can be made vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten free. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a scrambled... More

Met a business associate got coffee and a muffin. Had the view of the kitchen as a treat. Downstairs was relatively quiet at 10:30 for business conversation. Server was not very attentive which was okay until we wanted to pay our bill.

This restaurant used to be great. Regrettably the service and attention to its customers has slipped precipitously. On more than two recent visits, our food did not come from the kitchen as ordered. For inexplicable reasons, the staff seems to ignore you when you come through the door. How sad... It has been one of our Santa Fe favorites.

Tasty, fresh and delightful food. Lovely service with varying menus, depending on the time and day. (They even have a tea service!) The eggs are farm-fresh and everything seems farm-to-table fresh. Cute upstairs dining room and a cute downstairs dining room, too. The pastries looked divine, but I didn't indulge. Chocolates from local chocolatiers are available for purchase as gifts,... More
