We went to Tomasita's early for dinner, around 5:00, on a week night. It was not crowded and service was excellent as was the food. I had the beef sopapilla and my wife had tortilla soup, both good choices.

One of the worst meals I've ever experienced. Granted we were with a large group, mostly kids, but my dinner was essentially inedible. Chicken so tough and tasteless it wasn't worth chewing, glued together by bland cheese, topped with a ton of shredded lettuce, and a blob of guac on top. Best tasting part of the whole mess was the... More

We went to this restaurant after hearing rave reviews. If you dont mind a busy atmosphere with lots of noise then you will enjoy Tomasita's. We waited about 40 minutes on a very busy Saturday night. They do not except reservations. The waiter was very nice but it was a little hard to hear each other over the noise. The... More

I was directed here by a hotel bellman from the Old Town. This place is worth the walk! I wasn't super hungry so decided for a bowl of Tortilla Soup to start followed by a small plate. The soup was the best I've had! Ton's of chicken and the heat was perfect. The small plate was a nice chicken tostado... More

Santa Fe has many red and green chile restaurants and Tomasita's is one of the better ones. It is definitely on the tourist map but locals go here as well. They serve a good version of what traditional northern New Mexican food should be. For good traditional food near the Plaza it is definitely a reliable bet.

We had dinner here during a recent visit to Santa Fe. Very good food - Mexican flavor of course, but we loved that.

Our dinner was good. Nothing over the top for the hype. It was our first night in Santa Fe so we were expecting fabulous Mexican food. Since we are from Texas, it was not anything special. There is a female singing group that entertained. They were good.

We went on a friday night, the wait was abt 30 minutes. Kids got chicken fingers, we got a green chicken enchilada plate with posole instead of beans, and a red enchilada with ground beef. The chicken strips were ok. The side of ranch had way too much dill. The red enchiladas were just ok, and the green were so... More

I've eaten at Tomasitas many times over the past 30 years I've been coming to Santa Fe. Their food is delicious and very consistent. Their green and red are both top notch. May I recommend their frozen margaritas!

Yes this place is busy but there us a reason they actually serve tasty Mexican food not Spanish /New Mexican dishes. Chile rellanos tasty. Tacos not exciting. Bar pricey and locales get special attention. Parking lot always full. Hours 11-10 daily.
