Wonderful dinner, excellent service and selection.

We were staying at the thunder buffalo resort and this was just one exit down. We loved the atmosphere and food. Service was excellent and prices reasonable for a night out in Santa Fe. Make sure to order the table side guacamole and the green chile stew. We ate here with family, but would make... read more

After you're done scratching your head in Santa Fe, head north toward the real New Mexico. Not long after you pass Camel Rock you'll come to the first Cuyamungue exit. On your right you'll see Gabriels logo: a stylized racing wiener dog. Inside you'll find a tasteful decor with some fun art. In winter you can get some darn good... More

Very warm and friendly atmosphere and staff. Food and drinks were memorable, without being heavy. I see why it is talked about as a destination dinner location, it lived up to it!

This was one of the best mexican restaurants I have experienced. Guac made fresh table side! Cozy atmosphere with several fireplaces. This is a must-do in Santa Fe.

I have been eating Mexican fare on and off in NM since 1975... the absolute best place I'd tried until this year (40 years later) was The Territorial House, until it burned down. That is until we tried Gabriel's this year.... excellent, fresh, traditional, and decidedly not Tex-Mex.... great, friendly service... we will make this a regular place we stop,... More

We love this place! Upscale but not pretentious. Attentive staff, and an excellent variety of meals. I had the crab enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and it was delightful. My husband had the Santa fe rellenos and it was also excellent. This place is north of the city, but worth the drive. We often go when there patio is open and... More

Gabriel's has a wonderful atmosphere, attentive service and excellent food. Based on others' reviews, I tried the guacamole prepared tableside. It was delicious (and I don't normally like guacamole much). The tacos al carbone were fantastic. Prices are a little higher than the average Mexican restaurant, but well worth it!

Not obvious from the highway, when you take exit 176 from highway 84 & 285, the restaurant is hidden in the bushes just off to the right. The signage is terrible, and turning into the driveway is like turning into an alley, but finding Gabriel's is well worth finding. The Guacamole Especial is prepared table-side to your specifications and liking.... More

We love the food here and the ambiance makes you feel like you have stepped back in time to a mexican hacienda. Your guacamole is made to order at the table and is deliciously fresh. Try our favorite - the seafood fajitas! You will find that enjoying a summer evening dining on the patio is the way to dine. the... More

We often stop here on our way between Taos and the airports in Santa Fe and Albuquerque due to the location. It is also very accessible for those staying at the buffalo thunder resort (one exit beyond.) The table side guacamole did not disappoint and it was fresh and quick. The margarits were fresh and strong as well, however, I... More
