Top Notch New Mexican Food

This restaurant features northern New Mexico cuisine. We are locals and have eaten here about 6 times and like it better each time. Ambiance, food, and service are all excellent. Spring, summer, and fall you can eat in a charming courtyard. It is mid-range in cost and the food is excellent for the price. The restaurant has it own parking... More

Great food, a bit crowded. Good bar The guacamole is unbelievable. So is Mole. Kids really like it. A family event with professional servers.

Restaurant is beautiful and the fireplace is a nice touch. Food was average. We ordered the guacamole and expected a little more of a show for what we paid for it. Mango margarita was not very strong, but the chile on the rim was nice.

I have been eating at Gabriel's since 2012, and it worth the drive to get there. I particularly enjoy eating and having a drink outdoors during the summer, but the indoor choices are great too. The food is always delicious, and the menu offers great choices. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

It was my last night in NM and my parents took me to Gabriel's as they normally do. In my opinion, the recipes have shifted to meet the needs of the tourists. The chile is not as spicy, but still good. Based on my reviews, sopapillas are a staple for me. The sopapillas are average .the tableside guacamole is always... More

We have eaten at Gabriel's for years, but this is the first time I thought to do a review. The food is excellent and the service is cheerful and prompt. The ambience is delightful. I had forgotten that their salsa is among the best I ever tasted. Gabriel's offers a full menu of Mexican and southwest foods and drinks. I... More

The fajitas, combo plates and chile rellenos are consistently good over the years. A greet place to entertain friends and out-of-town guests. Great ambiance and superior service. The table-side-made guacomole is good, but a poor value - you pay for the show.

It is a bit of a drive to Gabriel's but well worth it. The atmosphere in warm weather, sitting outside in the courtyard, is simply perfect. But the real show stopper is the food, so fresh and homemade. It has never disappointed My favorite is the Enchiladas Verduras, a creative blend with yams. Order it without cheese and it's still... Family lunch here with a party of 6. The consensus was that 3 people thought it was ok and 3 didn't like it at all. I had the green chile stew which was pretty good, but it was served with store bought flour tortillas that were just not good. My husband had the burrito with green chile sauce and he... More
