Lots of Beer, Lots of Food Choices

We happened in one evening and enjoyed a very good meal. The atmosphere is casual and the sounds of chatting and laughter made for an inviting entry. The server was helpful in beer selection. You can get tasters if you are not sure. As part of the Lenten menu, fish tacos were listed and it turned... read more

We organized a group of 6 people to drive up from Albuquerque to eat at Blue Corn on Valentines day. We had a great time that day and the drive up we were all in a good mood. From a previous experience when the food and service was great this time it was less than stellar. We ordered a few... More

We happened upon this the Blue Corn as it was less than a block from the Hilton and decided to stop and eat an early dinner. I'm not sure what is wrong with people who have a bad review- it was wonderful! We were seated immediately and started with the taster of 8 beers, chips and salsa. The beer was... More

It isn't a chain but it feels like one going in. I don't drink beer so I can't speak to that. From what I understand from other's that is a plus. So I'm reviewing them on food, and atmosphere. First of all the location..it's off Cerrillos and in what seems like strip mall type situation..ugly area. Also, the service isn't... More

As we travel, we enjoy trying local beers. We stopped here for lunch and a brew, both very enjoyable.

I'm not sure which locatio . Is worse. I can't decide whether the red chili is worse than the green. They're both awful. This is NM, these chefs need to learn his to make real Chile. And the service, where do I start? The managers should teach their staff a thing or two about good service. The servers obviously could... More

Over the past 12 or so years I've gone to this restaurant now and then but haven't been there in maybe 2 years. Pretty disappointing. My friends and I all had Margaritas and the drinks were terrific, we all agreed on that but the food was below average. One friend returned her Mexican combination plate as the tamale was hard... The beer brewed here is very good, with seasonal brews offered every so often. I usually get a growler filled with the IPA when I go in. The food is always good. However the menu has changed recently and one of my favorite dishes, the Carne Adovada, was removed. Disappointed in that. Other than that, no complaints!

Traveling through, we ended up choosing this restaurant for lunch, just because it looked a little different. Would I seek it out again? Yes, most likely. The food was delicious and quite ample. (We both took a portion out the door for a second meal back home.) They had chili verde without pork! Woohoo! That's so hard to find -... More
