Pecan Raisin Bread

But there is much more. This has to be a favorite for anyone after making their first visit. Breakfast and lunch but a look see into the baking activities is enough for a stop by. I mention the Pecan Raisin Bread because it is great toast for jam. A take home...but the other breads and... read more

One of my favorites for a quick bite or for take out. With the smell of bread baking (it actually is a bakery), you can order the Avocado Smash or one of their home soups. Top that off with a coffee and fresh pastry Very reasonably priced and the ladies there are so friendly. While you are there pick up... More

I found this place by accident. I was hungry at noon and just started walking. Then I walked right into this place. They bake the most amazing bread. My favorite is their sourdough. I can assure you that even those folks who don't eat or like much bread will become obsessed with this bread. It is simply awesome!

This is primarily a bakery. I particularly like their light rye, for sandwiches, the raisin/walnut for breakfast, and the olive bread. Also excellent coffee and cookies. Tere is no bar. Ken Kurtz

Great casual atmosphere, authentic French pastries, many daily baked breads. We had spinach and Gruyere cheese puff pastries and the best cafe latte I've had in Santa Fe. We took an almond ricotta cake to go while traveling home.

We love the new little open faced breakfast sandwiches, but how can you skip the croissants? My only problem with this special place is that I want to try every item. We have never had anything that wasn't over the top delicious. They are of the same food philosophy as Tartine in San Fran where the browning creates carmelization flavors... More

This place is small, so you need to be prepared for that, but the coffee was good and the food was delicious. There were refills on large cups of regular coffee, and they do specialty coffee drinks, as well. The baked goods include loaves of various breads, pies, danishes, cinnamon rolls, quiche, tarts, cookies (I think), sandwiches, and tartines. We... More

The best bakery in the Southwest! We stopped by 15 minutes before the bakery closed, and service was positive and friendly. The kitchen was closed but we had a delicious egg sandwich and a gruyere/ham tart. WOW. Really fun to sit and watch the bustling bakery production in this warehouse-style cafe. The new organic bread is a must buy, don't... More

I visited Sage Bakehouse for the first time on my latest trip to Santa Fe. What a treat! I had 2 different types of bread with a vegan corn soup with tarragon butter and homemade peach chutney. The staff was so welcoming and apparently they provide bread to Whole Foods. Beautiful, modern design. Oh, and I loved the cloth napkins.... More
