Best pain and muffin and quiche ever!!

My uncle recommended this place as having the best croissant. Now I'm not a baked goods connoisseur so if figured I'd find a slightly better version of something I wouldn't normally order. So I went, and ordered a pain au chocolate - and it was amazing. Crisp upper crust, with a soft flaky... read more

If you like morning pastries, go out of your way to visit Sage Bakehouse. The cinnamon melt is especially good. We sampled everything we could -- croissants, muffins, scones -- in three mornings. The breads and quiches also look great. Good coffee to go and three shaded, outdoor tables.

Fantastic baked goods steps away from our hotel. I am not a morning person so this made getting up in the morning joyful! They also have a nice selection of coffees and other beverages.

Sage Bakehouse is a wonderful stop for coffee and a pastry. The baked goods are of the highest order, and the coffee and espresso offerings superb. A worthy stop.

We went for breads, not for a meal....and we were not disappointed. There was a great variety from which to choose with great texture, flavors and crusts. Be sure to get there before 2:30---it's not open later in the afternoon!

We stopped in for breakfast (the tartine with avocado and serrano ham was serious yum), and stopped back for some bread and rolls to take home. It is not every bakehouse that will post the sources of their grains, so a big plus for that! Really not sure how it could have been better, and after sampling some more of... More

Pastries were good but a small. Not allot of room to sit. Tables are communal. Fortunately we were close by and got our food to go. No WiFi.

I definitely had the best almond croissant ever at the Sage Bakehouse. It was obvious the ingredients were the best and it was freshly baked right there on the premises. That atmoshpere is great and the owners are bustling from baking in the back to greeting customers and speaking french! I would recommend buying your break for the week there... More

Wonderful breads! I buy them from one of our local grocery stores in Albuquerque, but love to get them fresh from the Bakery in Santa Fe!

But there is much more. This has to be a favorite for anyone after making their first visit. Breakfast and lunch but a look see into the baking activities is enough for a stop by. I mention the Pecan Raisin Bread because it is great toast for jam. A take home...but the other breads and desserts are just as good.... More
