My girlfriend and I were virtually ignored on the wait staff since we didn't order ETOH. Way overpriced.

I was delighted with the food and service in this restaurant. My girlfriends and I had lunch there in March. The menu was excellent, the food delicious and the server was knowledgeable and very helpful. Be sure to make reservations..

From the moment you enter, you are at home. The food and the service is amazing. The attention to detail is wonderful. White tablecloth dining, nice wine list and great food! Please eat here! It is not cheap, but well worth it!

The ambiance and the service remain fine, but the food has deteriorated. As starters, had razor clams on crostini; the crostini were ¾ thick so the taste of the bread overwhelmed the clams. For entrees, we each had pork tenderloin, requested medium-rare. The tenderloins were overcooked, medium to medium-well. Also, each tenderloin was served like a log, not cut into... More

Oh, I've eaten in many lovely restaurants. This one is one of my favorite in the world. You walk in and are instantly greeted by fabulous hostesses; when seated, you pass all the beautiful world travelers with heads together discussion trips, ventures, and birthday wishes. The table linens are crisp, the dish/crystal ware classy; the cushioned seats with matching pillows...and... More

The Compound is a Santa Fe favorite for many and has been one of mine for over 15 years. The quality and service is consistent and always a must for us. Try the wild mushrooms over polenta! Great ambiance, menu and wine list. I never get tired of dining here.

We ate here in October of 2014 for our 30th anniversary. We also ate at La Boca and Geronimo. All were outstanding and unique. We enjoyed the Compound most- owner/ chef visited the table and expressed gratitude, meals were excellent. Ran the gambit from fish, beef, and burgers. Expensive, but no more so than the other restaurants. Santa Fe has... More

My wife and I ate there on our anniversary Dec. 10th, 2014 and the dinner was mediocre at best. After spending close to $200 we left disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Santa Fe which said a lot about the quality given the number of fine restaurants in Santa Fe. I wanted to believe it was an... More

Here is a summary of our visit. appetizer was fantastic, one entree was very good, one entree was like unseasoned baked chicken breast. So: the food was only so so, in total. The killer was the combination of the cost of the meal and the level of service. The cost was extremely high ($140 before tip with two drinks, one appetizer,... More
