Excellent as always

The Compound is a Santa Fe favorite for many and has been one of mine for over 15 years. The quality and service is consistent and always a must for us. Try the wild mushrooms over polenta! Great ambiance, menu and wine list. I never get tired of dining here.

We ate here in October of 2014 for our 30th anniversary. We also ate at La Boca and Geronimo. All were outstanding and unique. We enjoyed the Compound most- owner/ chef visited the table and expressed gratitude, meals were excellent. Ran the gambit from fish, beef, and burgers. Expensive, but no more so than the other restaurants. Santa Fe has... More

My wife and I ate there on our anniversary Dec. 10th, 2014 and the dinner was mediocre at best. After spending close to $200 we left disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Santa Fe which said a lot about the quality given the number of fine restaurants in Santa Fe. I wanted to believe it was an... More

Here is a summary of our visit. appetizer was fantastic, one entree was very good, one entree was like unseasoned baked chicken breast. So: the food was only so so, in total. The killer was the combination of the cost of the meal and the level of service. The cost was extremely high ($140 before tip with two drinks, one appetizer,... More

Valentine's Day dinner. We asked for a quiet table, and they considerately put us in a side dining room upstairs. We split the sweetbreads for appetizer. My wife had the lamb osso buco with wild mushroom risotto, crispy kale and garlic chips, while I had the bacon wrapped pork chop with Parmesan farroto, pear-rosemary puree, pistachio butter, smoked pork jus.... I think this must have been one of the best lunches I have ever had. I was happy I was able to treat my friend to her birthday lunch and she also agreed that it was a very memorable lunch. I will definitely be back!

Never has food tasted so heavenly, or looked so striking, but here at the Compound Restaurant, fine dining is taken to a different level. In comfortable understated surroundings, you would be forgiven for not noticing that artwork worth over £1m is situated inside, such is its laid back and welcoming environment. The service was exceptional throughout and the price you... More

Enjoyed a wonderful, moist chicken schnitzel with a lemon caper sauce! Delightful ambiance. Prompt service. The halibut came highly recommended by a friend, if it's on the menu. Suggest reservations. Will definitely eat here again.
