I found my way to Santacafe based on my tour guide's response to this question, "What is your favorite restaurant in Santa Fe?" I LOVED my meal here. It was a blustery evening, so I ate in the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely, monochromatic, but not in a boring way. I ordered the green salad with olive oil and lemon... More

Oh, and the breads were outstanding!

This is an old SFE standby, but has improved in the last couple of years since I've been there. A friend and I had an excellent lunch with reasonably priced wine by the glass (always a pleasant surprise anywhere these days) and a menu that looked so appealing that it was hard to choose...Looking forward to going back this summer... My husband and I were in Santa Fe just for the evening on our way to the Grand Canyon. Our host at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear recommended this restaurant to us and we are so grateful he did - everything was perfect! From the delicious cactus spring rolls to the magnificent sea bass with champagne risotto, we savored... More

After trying a number of the tourist-crowded places immediately around Santa Fe's central Plaza, we walked a bit to this wonderful restaurant on a recommendation, and glad we did. More reasonable prices, outstanding food and service, and most pleasant surroundings, w/ plenty of parking out back.

The dinner was excellent, we tried a halibut with risotto, which was exceptional. The desserts were fantastic. The house made gelato was top tier and the chocolate cake was off the charts.

What a great lunch experience. We were treated graciously from the moment we arrived and escorted to a table (with a real tablecloth and fine cutlery) beside a kiva fireplace. I did not expect such an extensive menu at lunch and this one had superb choices. My wife chose a cup of asparagus soup and a lobster salad. I had... More

Last week, unexpectedly, I traveled to Santa Fe for a funeral. I believe we would all agree that dining out in a great restaurant is always a pleasure. But when unexpected circumstances of life have you going out to dinner, it is a phenomenal treat to know that in your sorrow you can travel to a place that not only... More

SantaCafe is lovely both in winter and summer. In winter the fireplace and warmth of the staff make it a place that you always like to visit. The lunches are reasonable and especially the calamari fritti are delicious! The outside patio in the summer is delightful too!

We had an excellent evening meal at the Santacafe. The selection of food options to choose from off the menu was just amazing. As such my husband and I decided to split an appetizer and dessert but each have our own entree. The food was Santacafe style of excellent and of High quality. This is a place for foodies to...
