Pleasant Ambiance, Good Food, Good Value

Santa Fe has plenty of white-tablecloth restaurants with tasty regional food, but this is one of the few that also has reasonable prices, at least at lunch. Built in the 1850s as a family home, Santacafe even offers a view of the original well through a "window" set in the floor of the bar. The... read more

What a great lunch experience. We were treated graciously from the moment we arrived and escorted to a table (with a real tablecloth and fine cutlery) beside a kiva fireplace. I did not expect such an extensive menu at lunch and this one had superb choices. My wife chose a cup of asparagus soup and a lobster salad. I had... More

Last week, unexpectedly, I traveled to Santa Fe for a funeral. I believe we would all agree that dining out in a great restaurant is always a pleasure. But when unexpected circumstances of life have you going out to dinner, it is a phenomenal treat to know that in your sorrow you can travel to a place that not only... More

SantaCafe is lovely both in winter and summer. In winter the fireplace and warmth of the staff make it a place that you always like to visit. The lunches are reasonable and especially the calamari fritti are delicious! The outside patio in the summer is delightful too!

We had an excellent evening meal at the Santacafe. The selection of food options to choose from off the menu was just amazing. As such my husband and I decided to split an appetizer and dessert but each have our own entree. The food was Santacafe style of excellent and of High quality. This is a place for foodies to... Santacafe is a beautiful elegant restaurant. The dining rooms are romantic, quiet, lovely, and elegant. The room was busy yet it felt intimate. The food was as beautiful and elegant as the space. The menu is interesting and diverse offering variety in food and price and our dinners were simply the best - every bite. Everything was fresh and delicious.... More

We had dinner there Christmas Eve and it is still one of the top restaurants in Santa Fe. The service and the food were both top notch. The quality and presentation were well worth the price. I would recommend this to anyone visiting or living in Santa Fe.

Very good food and atmosphere! The service was slow when we arrived but everyone seemed to come in at the same time. The waiter was very personable.

This used to be my go-to place for special occasions. I will continue to go here for intimate dinners but will avoid it at all costs for parties larger than four. My last visit was with a group of eight people. Despite a reservation made a week earlier, we waited a good 10 or 15 minutes for our table. Once... More

Santacafe came highly recommended, my husband and I were HIGHLY disappointed. Restaurant staff were overly pretentious and the meal was overpriced for what you got. Made special reservation for prix fixe menu for Christmas Eve, arrived on time and was told there would be minimum 20-minute wait. Hostess said we could eat at the bar if we wanted. NOT what...
