Try the shrimp and spinach dumplings, the sauce is really great. We had the halibut and pork chop, the food was good with nice presentations. The staff was very attentive without over doing it. Prices are a little high but the service is worth it.

Loved this restaurant. Nice ambience, great food and the staff was super! Nice personal service, they could not have done more for us. Portions are big; okay if you can take leftovers. If you are visiting and can't take home the extra consider splitting even though there is a share charge.

Lovely evening with friends. The food was fabulous, the service was outstanding. The best Calamari I have ever eaten and I grew up on the coast. Our table had been decorated with confetti and personalized birthday wishes! It is those little touches that are so important! Dessert was luscious too!

SantaCafe, located just two blocks north of the Plaza, and in a lovely courtyard, provides excellent food, carefully prepared and beautifully presented, from the assortment of breads at the start, the colorful salads, the eclectic choices of entrees, to the delicious desserts at the end. The wine list offers some great choices. The service is ultra-professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Hard... More

Nice small cafe in downtown Santa Fe not far from the Plaza. Very small bar area. Reservations a must. Excellent service. Nice menu with good specials. Good and varied wine list.

We were there on Valentine's evening which can be a recipe for disaster. However, it was not and was a great evening for our two couples. Jim was our server and did an excellent job! My wife had the filet which was cooked just as ordered. I had the lamb. It was good, but not great. Wine choices are a... More

We had a wonderful dinner in this very convenient/walkable location. The food was perfect; perhaps the best we had in Santa Fe. The service was top notch.

My husband and I met our daughter for lunch, Santacafe is charming. My husband was torn between 2 lunch entrees which he related to our waiter. Waiter told him I've written something down, you won't be disappointed. It was the Calamari which he loved. Also check out the well in the floor of the bar and discover the history of... More

As group of friends, we happened into the Santacafe for a weekend lunch. The restaurant was very cold to the extent that even the reluctant hostess was wearing an old pink parka with a beanie and scarf. The service at all levels was mediocre and inattentive with all sorts of untrained busboys falling over each other as in a Marx... More

So we go here for special occasions and it is usually pretty good -- the two complaints are they really pack it in and put the tables too close together on busy days like Easter and Mother's day and some of the menus are bland and ordinary -- on a good day the place is great,on an bad day the...
