Chow's is a Santa Fe institution for Asian food. It's been in the same strip-mall location for over a decade, and while its menu hasn't noticeably altered in that time, it offers a wide range of dishes sure to satisfy every appetite. The Vietnamese chicken wraps are top-notch, and the walnut shrimp is dangerously addictive. You won't go home hungry... More

Came here on a Friday night after stopping at a couple 35 minute waiting other restaurants. Shown to a table right away. Actually a very pleasant atmosphere with American wait staff. A full menu, we ordered the orange beef and the walnut shrimp. Chinese chicken salad was very plain served with a spicy soy sauce. Orange beef was crisply, shrimp... More

As other's have said, Coffee Chicken is to die for. Walnut Shrimp (also on the sweet side) a winner. Lemon Fish is great as are many of the noodle dishes. Beef used is thin, tender and high quality as are all the ingredients. If they have the mussel special, try that. We love to take home their food too, it... More

All I wanted was a dish without onions. The first one that was delivered to my table was loaded with onions. The waiter apologized. The next dish that came out was not the pepper chicken I ordered, but some variation of orange chicken. Tasted pretty good though, until I bit into another onion. The waiter scooped up my plate and... More

Chow's is the tastiest Chinese restaurant in Santa Fe. Never been disappointed in a meal here. A little pricier than others but well worth it for the quality of the meal.

Not the quality we used to expect from Chow's. Tough and overdone duck. None of several dishes any better than so-so. No chance we'll return anytime soon.

We had a nice experience with food at this place and we went back recently. The good impression about the food was confirmed (in particular for lunch). Our waiter was also very good. However, we had several children with us and the receptionist did not make us feel that they were particularly welcome. OK for adults, but not for families.

I had steamed buns and two basic entrees. The steamed buns I recognized from a pack I've purchased at a market and the other two dishes were kind of warm. I knew they weren't battered and fried that day. Frozen I bet. The entire thing was $40+ for grocery freezer dinners. No good. Staff was very nice.

We have friends who live in S.F. They suggested that we dine at Chow's. The food and service is excellent! I had the nuts and birds which I would recommend. Next time I will try the coffee chicken which I have heard is also delicious. Whenever we're in S.F., we'll make it a point to go to Chow's.

Didn't expect to be as impressed as I was. My local hairdresser recommended Chow's. I was impressed with the service and food. Will go back!
