I have lived here for a year. This town is filled with mediocre restaurants. I have been to Cowgirl several times and have enjoy all of my meals though I have not ordered the BBQ which seems to not be good based on the reviews (and no its not Texas Rudy's). However, today they stood out. I have always ordered... More

Texans beware. This is not up to your BBQ standards. Come on Sunday afternoon and there is a good time on the patio with boot scooting and cowboy hats galore. That's worth the trip. Cold beer.

I have never been much inclined to write a review, but after our most recent experience at the cowgirl I was just flabbergasted. I've dined at the cowgirl for many years and have always had a decent time. But our last visit was probably the best dining experience I've ever had in Santa Fe. We were in on a busy... More

Drinks were outstanding. Food was just ok. If you like to talk with others at your table while you eat get there BEFORE the band starts. good music, but we were not aware a band would there that night, our bad.

We had lunch, Chile Relleno plate and the Buffalo Burger. Nice. Burger cooked as asked and the relleno was well spiced. A couple of hours later, we're redigesting it. The charbroil flavor is a little heavy, the cheese for the relleno a bit thick. The Cowgirl theme is classic for this area of the world, but, in reality, it is... More

We love visiting this restaurant when we are in Santa Fe. The food is delicious and the desserts are fantastic. The atmosphere is very laid back. There is a western theme. Separate bar area. Outdoor seating. Live music. The kids love it.

I have visited the Cowgirl on and off for 20 plus years. This place keeps getting better & better! The outstanding BBQ coupled w/ a famous frozen margarita is a combo worth coming back for. The staff has a genuine 'western friendliness', greeting you w/ a big "Howdy!", and the decor follows suit w/ all kinds of authentic cowgirl memorabilia... More

We were tired and hungry after driving all day to get to Santa Fe when we decided on this restaurant close by our hotel. It was crowded and there was a wait but it was only about 30 minutes and the beer selection was good so that helped. I decided to go with the green chili burger that was award... More

This place did not live up to it's name. The BBQ was not very good and the food was smoothered with green chile to the point that every dish was just wet and soggy.

This is a must eat if you are in Santa Fe. There is an extensive menu with lots of fairly priced items that will cover most tastes/bases. Check out the specials, but the burgers, fried chicken, chilli are all very good. Beer selection is big and the bloody Marys are excellent with chilli and salt rimmed glasses. Live music and...
