Good Food at Decent Price

The chile rellenos were excellent and the on deck band was pretty good. We enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Cowgirl. Our server didn't come by as often as we would have liked but it was fairly busy.

We went here on Sunday afternoon at about 12:30. Parking is limited, but there are several public lots within an easy walk. Our server Lauren was outstanding. She recommended a few dishes and was spot on. There was a country band playing in the patio area, and they sounded great! The BBQ at this restaurant is TOP NOTCH. I don't... More

We went to Cowgirl BBQ because we had our dog with us, and they allow dogs on the dining patio. That worked out well, but my dinner came out before my husband's, and he had to wait about 15 minutes before he was served. We also had to remind the waiter. The food was good, but eating at different times... More

Went there with a few friends to celebrate an anniversary. As a traveling Southerner I have learned to accept that not everyone understands Barbecue. The brisket was bland and dry,and obviously cooked inside an oven. I was shocked that it's part of their name. The band however was fun and the beer selection was good, but what I witnessed later... Our BnB host suggested the place to get a good steak. We decided to go for the market steak which was the prime rib. The steak was nicely done and so we're the potatoes, the veggies we over and under done. The HiHo was a good drink but a bit small in size. We would come back for the food... More

BBQ is the one of several deceptions found on the Cowgirl's BBQ menu. The ribs and brisket were dry and fat-laden. The "World Famous Butternut Squash Casserole" as served, is a mushy puddle of veggies and bread crumbs. On the plus side, the restaurant offers worthwhile live entertainment and a fun bar atmosphere. However, ordering anything more interesting than a... More

Exchanged it for another steak and it was rare, returned it and said forget it, he had baked potatoes and vegetables. I had the fried chicken over mac and cheese and green chile. Pretty hot... More

We took a very hungry post-horse riding group to Cowgirl BBQ for dinner, while in Santa Fe on vacation. We had a great time and both kids wolfed down everything put in front of them. This is an easy place to take kids and there were plenty of families there during our visit. The food was good and, although we... More

Had dinner tonight with my family. Our food was delish! We ate inside, but there was plenty of seating, outside on the patio. The kids had fajitas, my husband enjoyed his burger and I had the blue corn chicken stack. No complaints about the food although it was pretty standard fare. We did sit there for five minutes without a... More
