We stumbled across the Cowgirl BBQ when walking through the Railyard area and heard some live music being played. The girl at the front desk allowed us to go in and have a look to see if we wanted to stay and eat. It was fairly late for lunch (about 3pm) but we were given a seat right in front... More

Expect a great, down home menu and while I haven't tried everything, the items that I have have been delicious. Chili, chili rellenos, BBQ pork and brisket are a few of my favorites but they have much more. Different eating areas allow for varied eating experiences, outside and in. They have a great selection of brew and great daily specials for... More

I had dinner at Cowgirl one evening and the place was hopping. Music was great, fun bar scene, great service. The food was ok.. nothing to write home about. I had ribs that were just ok.. luke warm.. my friend had some sort of sausage sandwich that was dry and nearly tasteless. The service was great, the place is a... More

Cowgirl is a fun setting with great food and service. Our group was rather large -- about 55 people -- but we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I really like this restaurant because of the kids area! I know it sounds childish but the fact that you can settle down to a nice meal and let the kids run amuck outside? It's great! -The Silent Critics of New Mexico etc.

Great food with a friendly atmosphere, I would suggest this restaurant to anyone exploring the Santa Fe plaza. They have great outdoor seating and quick service throughout the restaurant (you won't be ignored because you chose to sit outside). A great environment for families with children, but not the best environment for holding a conversation. The menu caters more to... More

The chicken was large and very tasty and they let us substitute sides WE had the cobbler for dessert and that was also wonderful. Since we loive rock a billy music,... More

Great restaurant, frequented by many locals including families. Cool bar in the back, good food and drink. They have some good regional beers. I had the BBQ sandwich and my wife and daughter both had a dinner size salad. All were very tasty and the pricing was reasonable. Located just a short ride from the Plaza area.

We were seated in the back room which was fine and attended to by our host Caitlin who was great. Food is absolutely awesome, make sure you have a good appetite when you visit. Good selection of beers all very reasonably priced as was the food. Not your typical "touristy" restaurant it was full of character and indeed characters when... More
