Always Fun, Always Delicious

The biggest surprise at Cowgirl is that even though they have some of the best comfort food in town, they also have delicious higher end meals. Sometimes I come here for the special, other times I just want fish 'n' chips. The sangria is really good, but so are the margaritas. Tough choice. The... read more

although the Cowgirl is known for BBQ we had the best burgers in Santa Fe. he burgers were big and juicey. The BBq smell awesome but burgers were recommended by others so we tried them and we were not disappointed.

While traveling through Santa Fe, we stopped in for dinner. I had the BBQ sampler platter. It was great. The meat just fell off the bones, and it was so much food I didn't even get to eat the entire piece of BBQ chicken.

The food was ok but I have had better barbeque in New York City. I had the beef brisket dinner. The meat was not tender, the beans and rice were fine. My husband had the chili but it was nothing special. The place was very noisy and you could hardly hear the person sitting across from you.

I visit the Cowgirl almost every time I'm in Santa Fe, and I'm never disappointed! The staff is friendly, the ambience is fun, and the portions are substantial! This time I had the Nuthouse Nut Burger (vegetarian) which was served with fries, slaw, and a pickle. The sandwich was very flavorful. Advice: if it's slightly cool but you want to... More

We picked Cowgirl BBQ because we arrived in Santa Fe in the evening, and it was a short walk from our B&B. We sat at one end of a long table on the patio. It was a lovely evening and after being cooped up in a plane and car, we enjoyed the outdoor dining. The menu is an extensive list... More

Really poorly prepared food, of poor quality. Have a drink here for the ambiance and go across the street to the Whole Hog Café where they quality of the food is much much better. They do have live music and sometimes that is a good thing, often not.

We watched the episode of Heat Seekers where they visited this restaurant and were excited to give it a try. Both my husband I were pleased with the Diablo BBQ. Glad to try it but enjoy taking in New Mexico cuisine when we visit Santa Fe.
