We chose a selection of Tapas dishes and they were all top shelf. The waiter was very informative and seemed to be there whenever we had a question or wanted to order more food. The stand out dish for us was the Scallops, they were divine. Food, Wine and Service combined delightfully to make this one of the best meals... More

I hosted a celebration dinner at El Meson for 50 seminar attendees. They were all strangers to Santa Fe (as in from out of state), having spent all day every day in a classroom, and every evening in study groups, and they came away entranced by the atmosphere (including the flamenco show) and wowed by their meals.

We opted for the Lounge where they served delicious tapas, had a great wine list and showcased a great Spanish guitarist. The food was EXCELLENT! - the best during our 4 day stay in Santa Fe. Plus pleasant and helpful servers. I would definitely eat in the lounge again.

We really appreciate dining at the El Meson restaurant. The Spanish dish food selection is very good and varied... The Chef does a really good job... We didn't know how good until we dined at El Farol........ We highly recommend El Meson for dining and when they have live entertainment, it's generally pretty good and varied.......

I only know Friday night jazz dinners, but to find a jazz group in Santa Fe is a rarity and when accompanied by tapas and your favorite drinks, grand excess! Make a reservation well ahead of time as I suspect that there are "regulars" who come almost every week. The tapas are good and the wine list has many quality... More

Perhaps we have been spoiled by excellent jazz in our hometown Nashville, Music City but we were a bit disappointed in the quality of the music. The four guys playing just didn't seem to be in concert with each other. Now, the place was packed and a kind hostess found us a couple of seats at the bar. The locals... More

We had dinner here with some friends - ordered a variety of tapas. While the service was great, the food was just ok. my favorite part was the tomato soup. It was fun, but not sure I would return.

This place is just a short walk off the plaza. We went early for a tapas dinner and we were not disappointed. We started with the pear and goat cheese salad and the tomato soup. Then the artichokes, calamari and beef filet. We finished with the flan. Everything was delicious, freshly made, and served beautifully. The service was also quick,... More

Lots of small dishes. Not long on flavor but nicely presented. I have had better...but not in Santa Fe.

This was our second time to dine at El Meson. We ate their last year on a trip to Santa Fe and had a wonderful experience. On this trip, El Meson was the only reservation we made in advance because we couldn't wait to eat there again. It did not disappoint. We shared paella among the 3 of us and... More
