Wonderful evening and my clients loved it. Great food and an wine list that is a real treat. Dessert is a must with a Espresso. Looking forward to returning.... Thank you to the Concierge at Bishop's that referred us here after no service in the lounge at Bishops. more

The bar at El Meson provides a good life entertainment nightly. Went for tapas on a Saturday night and there was a jazz trio performing. I tried the stuffed mushrooms with chorizo, the jamon and the roasted peppers with cheese, and they all tasted pretty good though not much above average. The sangria, on the other hand, was great. The... more

My husband and I wanted paella while vacationing in Santa Fe and chose El Meson. We were not disappointed... the paella was incredible, filled with chicken, sausage, mussels, clams, shrimp, and scallops. It was a bit pricey (our bill was around $100 for a side salad that we split, a half carafe of sangria, and the paella) but we enjoyed... more

We got into Sante Fe late, and just stumbled across El Meson. What a good find! We shared tapas and soup...everything was great. A glass of red wine wasn't tops, but it was certainly drinkable. The jazz in the next room was an extra that we hadn't expected. Certainly I'd go back! more

Awesome tapas. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere very cozy. Had the olives, lamb, veal, and calamari plates. Everything was loaded with flavor and seasoned perfectly. The pumpkin bourbon cheesecake pretty much floored me, it was a little sweet but paired it with an espresso that put everything right. Would definitely visit again to try the paella. more

Excellent selection of tapas - order a variety to make an excellent meal (especially the mussels, guess everything can be flown in nowdays) - and don't forget some wine, but save room for a desert. more

For the past 12 years, there is great jazz in the Chipas Tapas Bar at El Meson. We go there every Friday that we are visiting Santa Fe. The tapas are delicious and good Spanish wines. The jazz trio always has a guest artist on sax, trumpet, vibes, etc. I recommend this place if you are in Santa Fe on... more

What a find! There are two sections to this restaurant; the main restaurant and the tapas bar. We ate in the tapas bar. We got there early and sat back by the bar so we got to see the whole room well. Service was excellent and as plate rotation is paramount in a tapas bar our server and busperson were... more

We went there for dinner and ordered tapas to share amongst the three of us: the lamb skewers, mushrooms stuffed with chorizo and cheese, grill oyster mushroom, calamari, spanish omelete, a glass of sangria, wine and almond cake for dessert. Everything was top notch...flavor, freshness, presentation... amazing. They cut no corners. The service was professional. The portions were not big.... more
