We opted for that Tapas. They are appetizer portions which is like a menu sampler. The seafood selections were the best. We also split an entree which was to die for. This is more of a fine dinning experience. Once we ordered the food arrived very quickly and the staff were very prompt. Very fun and enjoyable meal.

We have been to Madrid and this place rivals every tapas joint we hit. One of the most enjoyable evenings ever thanks to the quality of food, atmosphere, and service. First, this place is so perfectly lit for an intimate evening - not too bright, not too dark where you can't read the menu. The wait staff are very helpful... More

The owner David is from Spain and the food reflects that. Very very good Tapas and other traditional Spanish dishes. The Cantina is a great night spot that features music from jazz to flamenco most evenings.

My boyfriend and I went to El Meson on a Saturday evening to see a flamenco performance within the restaurant. We ate at the bar. The setting was intimate and the food was delicious. The entire environment provided a warm setting to enjoy the dancing and the food. We would both go there again and recommended to our friends.

I ate once before at El Meson, I had one of the Paellas with an excellent spanish wine, that experience had been excellent, and the atmosphere is always super. This time I ate there on a Tuesday, so maybe the chef had the day off, I don't know, but even though I came in with full confidence I'd be getting... More

One of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences we have had. Friends reserved a dining room table for dinner and that transformed to a table in the bar for entertainment (a fine jazz combo of piano and bass) thereafter. Wonderful meal of Paella and Tapas. Nice Malbec selected from an abundant wine list. Good service. They had 5 or 6 Paella's... More

This is a wonderful restaurant with absolutely superb food and service. We enjoy our meal so much we wanted to return the next night but they are closed on Monday. The tapas, wine list, and main courses are truely Spanish as from Spain. We loved this restaurant.

Tried this restaurant as a break from green chili heaven and found the tapas of mushroom caps, artichokes and stuffed peppers wondrous. The service could have been better with more advice but you really could not go wrong. There was no rush and we slowly enjoyed a tasty tapa and then ordered another. Wine list is expensive and our tempo... More
