We had dinner here with some friends - ordered a variety of tapas. While the service was great, the food was just ok. my favorite part was the tomato soup. It was fun, but not sure I would return.

This place is just a short walk off the plaza. We went early for a tapas dinner and we were not disappointed. We started with the pear and goat cheese salad and the tomato soup. Then the artichokes, calamari and beef filet. We finished with the flan. Everything was delicious, freshly made, and served beautifully. The service was also quick,... More

Lots of small dishes. Not long on flavor but nicely presented. I have had better...but not in Santa Fe.

This was our second time to dine at El Meson. We ate their last year on a trip to Santa Fe and had a wonderful experience. On this trip, El Meson was the only reservation we made in advance because we couldn't wait to eat there again. It did not disappoint. We shared paella among the 3 of us and... More

This place has wonderful tapas. Try some of the more adventuresome choices. I like going here each time I visit Santa Fe because I like to go to the bar and see the live entertainment. The last time I was there, we were delighted by the percussionist who had a plethora of items--including a cast iron skillet-- to play. Make... More

Went to this Spanish tapas restaurant during a long weekend trip with my husband. It was a pretty dull experience (except maybe for the live jazz music coming from the tapas bar area). The floor and wait staff were all very attentive and pleasant and, though I found the decor weirdly generic, the tables were far enough apart so that... More

We sat in the tapas bar (as opposed to the restaurant). There was live piano and bass playing jazz, very good. Excellent tapas, though a bit fried and with a fairly sharp Romesco sauce. Nice Spanish wines, lovely flan and churros dessert. The atmosphere and service were very good.

Great experience, wonderful food and much cheaper than a trip to Spain. By far the best restaurant we have tried in Santa Fe

We enjoyed a lovely meal of tapas and a shared large plate at this restaurant near the plaza. We made a reservation for dinner and when we arrived, the hostess, Olivia, went out of her way to make sure we'd have a reservation for the bar side where the jazz band was playing after we ate. We loved the manchego... More

I cannot figure out why this place is rated so high. Maybe we just came on a bad night. My husband and I ordered a split salad which was ok (they didn't split it). Blue cheese dressing was thin and kind of watery. My salmon was ok but his rib eye steak was over cooked and had no flavor. Our... More
