This is a wonderful restaurant with absolutely superb food and service. We enjoy our meal so much we wanted to return the next night but they are closed on Monday. The tapas, wine list, and main courses are truely Spanish as from Spain. We loved this restaurant.

Tried this restaurant as a break from green chili heaven and found the tapas of mushroom caps, artichokes and stuffed peppers wondrous. The service could have been better with more advice but you really could not go wrong. There was no rush and we slowly enjoyed a tasty tapa and then ordered another. Wine list is expensive and our tempo... More

This was a good restaurant to eat at when other restaurants closed for the evening. It was open at 9:30 PM and we had a good meal. Unfortunately, the live music ended before our arrival. The next musicians begin setting up for their scheduled play the following night and created a bit of commotion while we ate our meal. They pardoned... More

I took my wife here for dinner on her birthday after reading the reviews. It was AMAZING!!! From the point I called to make the reservation, until time to pay the check the service was great. There was a small mix up on the order but they QUICKLY made it right and made sure our time there was enjoyable. We... More

we've been meaning to come to El Meson for the two years we've lived here, so perhaps the anticipation caused me to expect too much but I was somewhat disappointed on a couple of counts. First, I wasn't really clear on this but there is a bar with live music most nights and a separate dining room. they are quite... More

We read about this on Trip Advisor and decided to book on the Friday night to enjoy the jazz and it was well worth it. It's good if you go with adventurous friends who are happy to try any thing as if they only like beef and chicken it can limit the tapas choices a bit. At any rate, the... More

The manager at the end of our dinner was really rude, she asked us when we were leaving if everything was ok, and she said why did we tip lower than a 15% for dinner. That is a very rude way of bidding farewell. Next time that we come to visit Santa Fe, me and my husband will not to... More

We went to El Meson on the advice from a good friend. Man was he right. Before I forget it is highly recommended that you have reservations. The Tapas are out of this world. The service is outstanding. I can't comment on desert because I ate so many Tapas I couldn't eat another bite. We sat in the bar and... More

We went for an early dinner New Years Day (5:30pm), and we sat at a high top table in the side bar area. The food was really wonderful, especially the stuffed mushrooms! Our kids (ages 8 and 5) loved the food and the music! It was the perfect relaxing atmosphere and southwest-style tapas after a long day of driving from... More
