Best Place to Tango on Tuesday - Best Entertainment

After trying this place out twice I now know that Taberna and La Boca will always be top billing when it comes to tapas in Santa Fe.

Delicious tapas, great music in the bar. Wonderful food in the restaurant. We really enjoyed it. Had been there in 2014, it was absolutely worth a return visit.

With other heavy hitting tapas style restaurants in town I would have thought that the food would have more pizazz but I was wrong. The paella was scorched.

Tango night in the bar, so we were seated in the dining room. Decor said "1960's Spain" which is fine by me. I care more about the food. We ordered tapas. The morcilla was dry. They did not charge us for it. The tortilla española was ok. My spouse loved the empanadas. Tinto de verano was refreshing. Noah, our waiter... More

We went on a Saturday night and ate in the tapas bar (rather than the dining room). We had great tapas and watched a very good live jazz band. We selected various tapa plates to share, and all of them were good. Service was very good as well. I would definitely go back.

It was hard to pick from over 400 restaurants in Santa Fe but the label of Mediterranean and Spanish tapas drew us in! I can't remember ever being so pleased with each and everything we ordered...6 healthy, unique, delicious tapas...best meal in forever!

My wife and I returned to El Meson, one of our favorites, for one of our recent three nights in Santa Fe. We had made reservations and were glad we did. My wife started with the Ensalada de Remolcha (beet & kale salad with fresh basil and goat yogurt dressing). I started with the Cogollos a la Crema de Cabrales... More

We had diner here twice in July. The service was excellent and so was the food. Try the Piquillo Rellenos and the Duck Enfrijoladas and the wood charred quail. Desserts were also very good. Not expensive for what you get.

I really was excited to try the food here but when I was served my paella is was absurdly under seasoned and the seafood was rubbery. The service was uninspired at best. The weird part was that the restaurant was empty so one would think they would show more concern.
