A Must Stop for a Santa Fe Lunch

I love Cobb salads and this restaurant has the best one ever. Service and atmosphere make the dining experience most enjoyable.

I have to eat here whenever I visit Santa Fe. This last visit I was there for both dinner and breakfast. You cannot beat the atmosphere, service, taste and value. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant. The sopapillas seemed to be a bit "doughy" this last trip, but otherwise another amazing visit. The best value on the breakfast menu is... More

My family and I had a number of meals here including breakfast, appetizers and dinner. It did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic. Will definitely eat there again.

This restaurant has swung between extremes of quality from terrific to not so good for the past twenty years! Currently, they are hitting on all cylinders. I have only been to breakfast, twice, in past months, but both were stellar experiences. Biscuits and gravy were absurdly good, as were the huevos. Even the coffee is better. Excellent service combined with... More

We live in Santa Fe which has many restaurants, most of which are very inconsistent but La Plazuela is consistently good. Great service, atmosphere and food. Try the prime rib special on Friday or Saturday! Also wonderful, table-side made guacamole! (Don't forget to tip the guacamole maker).

I showed up on a thursday night in January as a party of one without a reservation and it looked to be a long wait. They were able to give me a very nice table in the bar area where as luck would have it there was live music that evening. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Really good... More

I have eaten at La Plazuela for years, and it is exactly as I remembered from when I was a child. It is located in the center courtyard of the historic La Fonda Hotel. During lunch it is bright with all of the sky lights and trees and fountain in the middle. At night it is lit up and feels... More

We stayed at the La Fonda Inn and ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Dinner was so very good, filet of beef and cheese enchiladas, with made to order guacamole for an appetizer. Breakfast was a burrito for my hubby and brioche french toast for me......yum!! Servers each meal were fantastic, especially Alexis and Nancy.

The food is really good, northern New Mexican, staff is really attentive and friendly. Excellent wines. Parking is free with restaurant validation and one can sign up for free birthday dinners. A bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

Great lunch buffet, has a little of everything , mostly mexican, but great taste, and lots of it, the place is a nice break from the plaza, and the hotel is really nice.
