As a local, this is one of my go-to places for a special occasion. There is variety to the menu to please all tastes. The table-side- made guacamole is fabulous!

I know that peoples' experience can differ, but my husband and I just spent a week in Santa Fe, and our dinner at La Plazuela was the finest meal we had, in a city known for great food. The service was wonderful--with the waitress providing excellent recommendations in a friendly manner. The setting is beautiful and tranquil, as you are... More

Deliciously satisfying rancheros huevos with black beans, pork posole and choice of red or green chili sauce. Great service!

A great waitress and delicious food and wine made this a memorable evening. Our party of 12 was welcomed and given extra special attention. There was something on the menu for everyone's special tastes...from prime rib to fajitas to fish!

La Plazuela is a spacious restaurant bathed in light from overhead skylights and charming old Mexican painted windows. This restaurant is located adjacent to the large and interesting lobby of the La Fonda Hotel. The breakfast offerings on La Plazuela are exceptional, with my favorites being the Eggs Benedict and deliciously flavored waffles. The service was also attentive, efficient and... More

On a whim, my husband decided to drive to Santa Fe - made no reservations, but we were treated as though we were guests at the hotel. Small table for two, excellent coffee and a small biscochito to start, with small pitcher of creamer, hot rolls and butter balls. Never had beans with sweet potatos before - and they were... More

Wonderful food, great ambience, a do-not-miss place for lunch or dinner. We ride up from Albuquerque frequently just for lunch. They also have a great New Mexican buffet in the bar/restaurant next door

Had breakfast here while staying at the hotel. Delicious great service. Prices not too bad for hotel. Don't pass on the waffles. AMAZING

Made an online reservation through Open Table, was glad we did. It was a Saturday night and the place was doing great business. Great atmosphere, we had a table right by the fountain. Our server was wonderful, the food was excellent. Forgot a personal item there, when we were driving back to Denver realized it and called them. They offered... More
