From the moment we walked in the place felt disorganized. Our meal was cold and tasteless. Server had no clue what was going on. It's a shame because the building is beautiful.

We love dining indoors inside the bright atrium, especially during winter. Our favorite meal at La Plazuela is lunch, especially the pulled pork and red chili sandwich with sweet potato fries -- big enough to share. Their sopapillas are the best in town too. Nothing's more charming in Santa Fe than the La Fonda hotel, take some time to walk... More

Beautiful building and ambiance but the food was bad. Eggs were overcooked and bacon was dry as a belt.

We had a feeling that this was a tourist trap based on the ambiance but we decided to try it out and our fears were realized. Rice and Beans were mushy and flavorless and the beef wa dry and overcooked. Service was awkward and we wont go there again.

This restaurant is in a beautiful indoor courtyard in the hotel. The ceiling is high with a gallery around, there are beautiful traditional tiles on the walls and indoor trees with lights. It was very full on the night we ate there and this all created a great atmosphere. We had to wait a little while until the table we... More

After reading the other reviews I had quite high expectations, but I was disappointed by the quality of the food. It was not bad, but it also was not as good as I hoped.

We had breakfast here twice. Large portions, delicious food, attractive setting. (Was part of our package with the hotel, so didn't focus on the pricing.)

My wife picked La Plazuela because of the balcony upstairs to watch the sunset. We decided to try the local fare. It was so worth it! The fajitas were wonderful. We'd never had posole before and it was amazing. The service and atmosphere were top notch.

We happened upon this restaurant one night as we wandered back to our hotel. Situated withing the La Fonda hotel compound was this lively Southwest Mexican style restaurant. We vowed to return the next night for dinner. We both had eyes for strictly Mexican dishes, so I ordered two types of enchiladas while he ordered tacos, with guacamole and beans. Everything... More

Had dinner here recently, and it was the best restaurant experience I had on my trip, between both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Its a real nice atmosphere at night, and the food was fantastic. The King Salmon fish dish I had (cooked medium rare) with risotto and vegetables, was honestly one of the best fish dishes I have ever had... More
