Great breakfast

The La Plazuela at La Fonda is one of the many spaces designed by the architectural genius, Mary Jane Coulter. Like all of her work, this space has an incredible sense of place. The food is good, the service excellent and it won't break the bank. Give it a try.

My confusion is that I thought there seem to be 2 very similarly named eateries in the La Fonda drop down list. I am referring to the dining area in the ground floor, opposite the bar, so my apologies if I have misidentified the place. My brother and I were there in August 2013 (the date drop down list wouldn't... More

This is a charming restaurant right in the middle of the La Fonda Hotel lobby. The glass ceiling lets daylight in, so it is bright and airy. Decor is decidedly New Mexican. Food and service are both excellent and it is a real delight to eat here.

Everything was amazing: our food, the service, the environment of the restaurant. Our only gripe was the table-side guacamole was $13 (pricey) and there was no standard guac on the menu that we could order instead... Will definitely go back.

My wife and I spent a week in Santa Fe and saved this dinner for our last night in town. We were not disappointed. We had traditional Mexican food and it was very good. We had fajitas for two - priced at just $27 for both of us. We also had very good margaritas which were generous in their size.... More

If you are looking for a luxurious brunch or breakfast spot in Santa Fe go to La Plazuela at La Fonda Hotel. I had the whole trout with poached eggs which were delicious!! Food presentation was lovely too. Meal Cost $14.00.

La Fonda's restaurant with the huge skylight, painted windows and old world charm reeks of genuine Santa Fe. The food is fabulous, the service is superb and the ambience unbeatable. Even if you're not staying at this historic hotel, be sure to visit the restaurant and shops. You'll be glad you did!

Fabulous trip to Santa Fe! Freak snowstorm so where to go for sanctuary? La Fonda, delicious food, ambiance! I had the pistachio cashew cake. Most amazing meal I've ever eaten. we came for lunch, came back for dinner and western music. There is a wonderful welcoming vibe. Go and enjoy.

This restaurant located inside the La Fonda hotel is well worth the visit. The food choices are amazing and the dishes are large in size and high on taste. The homemade-to-taste at your table guacamole is a must. The homemade chips to go along are excellent.
