For an old Santa Fe kind of experience, eat here at The La Fonda Hotel. La Plazuela is situated in an atrium with a fountain in the center, the glass windows surrounding it are all hand painted with New Mexican folk art designs, and the furniture is old Spanish Colonial. The entire ambience is traditional and authentic Santa Fe, and... More

One of the most satisfying meals of our entire road trip through Arizona and New Mexico. We shared a large fajita plate which shrimp and chicken, which was perfectly satisfying. The sopasilla (indian fry bread) with honey was off the chart and made the meal even more memorable. The drinks were perfection. Our server had worked there for nearly 30... More

We have eaten here many times, when staying at La Fonda and when staying at other hotels. The food is consistently good and there is a great selection. The restaurant itself has real trees with a fountain in the center and natural light from above. The architecture compliments the experience. During weekends, you will need a reservation. A very relaxing... More

After a few lovely breakfasts in the nearby district, we decided to try eating in at La Plazuela and cam again the following morning. The menu has ample choices, and each morning we tried something different. Servers were delightful; ambiance was unique and memorable.

In a beautiful dining room. Food a little slow in coming out. Fajitas were tasty and plentiful. Appetizers interesting! Service attentive without being annoying.

Had a wonderful lunch with family and good friend during a recent visit to Santa Fe. Had some wonderful and authentic Southwestern fare. Service was very good and ambiance worth the price of admission alone. Even on a rainy -- yes rainy in Santa Fe! -- weekday lunch, the restaurant was packed. Had to wait about 20 min, but hostess...
