Great place to go for Margaritas & Appetizers. Authentic settings. Stop in for happy hour or take a break from shopping.

I rarely eat biscuits and sausage gravy because it's so difficult to find them properly prepared but any time I'm in Santa Fe I make it a point to have breakfast at La Plazuela in the La Fonda Hotel. Several years ago, having spotted them on the menu there, I gave it a try. The dish is a favorite of... More

The dinner menu was difficult to choose from and the food was okay. However, I went back for lunch and had a great time. I had the lamb sandwich and it was really good. It is mixed with goat cheese and I had sweet potato fries. Everyone else was happy to with the pork sandwich and some of the New... More

Somewhat limited menu for our taste. Mostly SW cuisine but was good service. Would like a more variety of choices as some in party prefer not spicy foods. Excellent choice for wine selections.

I was looking for a great place to take my wife for our anniversary and I found it. This place was exactly was I was looking for. I had the salmon and my beautiful wife had the prime rib. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. I can't forget about the wine selection, that was a plus! Flan... More

Dine in lots of Santa Fe atmosphere without the atmospheric prices. Table-made quacamole was a hit. Our dining companions raved over the marquaritas. We shared skirt steak fajitas for 2 -- generous servings, nothing spectacular but a very good experience. Restaurant became very loud as it filled (we started a bit early). Friendly wait staff and attentive service. We'd go... More

This restaurant is so beautiful - an atrium, courtyard setting in the center of the lovely La Fonda Hotel. My friend and I decided to try it for an early lunch, and it was an excellent choice. Wanting to eat lite, we chose to split an order of fajitas - chicken and steak mixed. It was so huge, with complimentary... More

Every time I come to Santa Fe, I visit La Plazuela. If you go for brunch, get the eggs with chile rellenos--unbeatable! The posole is also fantastic, as are the biscuits and green chile/sausage gravy. Have not been disappointed and will definitely go again!

We had put off eating at this restaurant, partially due to the other restaurants getting great reviews, partially due to some marginal reviews by readers here on Trip Advisor, and our general distrust of restaurants that are run within many hotels. But....often times you need to trust your own judgement. We ate at La Plazuela the last morning we were... More

The food was awesome. Ian's service was spot on, the best I have received in years. Chile Rollino was superb. Atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Highly recommended.
