La Choza is a sister restaurant to The Shed on the Santa Fe plaza. If you want to pay a lot, go to The Shed. If you don't, go to La Choza. The menu isn't as fancy as The Shed's, but the food is fantastic. I have lived in New Mexico for over 40 years and tried every New Mexican... More

I have eaten at La Choza numerous times and have never been disappointed. The extensive menu will not disappoint with very good quality and variety. The atmosphere is very pleasant and there is ample room inside and outside on the patio so you rarely have to wait long for a table. Service is always friendly. One gripe is that you... More

Excellent NM food, trendy hot spot but spendy drinks. Try the posole and the soppapillas with your plate. The red sauce is very hot, the green not so much so. Both were great.

As expected the green chili is awesome! Ambience is a little touristy, but they have a take-away window so you can call in an order and take it home. They just started taking reservations so you don't have to endure the long lines. The food is quite spectacular. Margaritas are a little tart if you like them sweeter.

I go to my cabin outside of Las Vegas, NM every year. Almost every year we drive to Santa Fe for La Choza. These are hands down the best sopaipillas and New Mexican food I've ever had. I love their enchiladas and basically everything I get here. I had a margarita last time and was not disappointed! It's not really... More

Yum. Fun restaurant full of people, expect a wait. Great tequilas, great food. The red was almost at my limit of what I can stand, and I grew up on Mexican food.

I travel thru Santa Fe about five times a year to the restaurant deprived Pagosa Springs. Always stop here right off of St Francis and Cerillos. The absolute best New Mexican food within a cozy atmosphere. Your hosts are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and city. I have tried about every thing on the menu with the blue... Excellent menu, great prices, friendly service. It was Thanksgiving day and we had pretty much resigned ourselves to not having the typical T-day dinner. Wandered into La Chosa and we were warmly greeted, and they had a special menu for that day of turkey with all the trimmings for $12! Great ambiance in a cozy room with a roaring fire.... More

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe. We eat here often and are never disappointed. It is authentic, so be aware that "hot & spicy" means "hot & spicy". If you're not sure, go for mild or medium. It is a bit off the beaten track, not too far from the Railyard, but not in an... More
