Great dinner on our last night in Sante Fe. We wanted a place less touristy, more of a place where the locals eat. And it is that. Food and service were terrific.

This restaurant is the best, for New Mexican food in northern New Mexico.,the enchilada plate is priced reasonable and is superb. A truly simple, but great plate of food. It is the most popular meal, and that's for good reason. The chile sauce on the enchiladas is what makes the dish a winner. Just like with Italian food, it's about the... More

La Choza is the sister restaurant of the Shed downtown. We love going here for lunch on the way to the airport. Red and green chili enchiladas are wonderful along with the green chili stew. We love this restaurant and will continue to come back.

Great service; eclectic decorating; excellent New Mexican food. The salsas are very hot so go easy on them. And make a reservation.

We were in Santa Fe for a long weekend this October. We ate at three restaurants and this place, apparently a local favorite, was our our least favorite. The main problem was the food was brought out of the kitchen way too hot (temperature, not spice). The plate and food were actually dangerous for at least 10 minutes after it... More

Sister restaurant to the highly promoted Shed in Santa Fe is this gem not far from the intersection of St. Francis and Cerillos. Recommended by an innkeeper in another town this was an exceptional reasonably priced meal and the best sopapillas in New Mexico having visiting the area yearly for over 12 years. Service was outstanding in a simple and... More

The staff was very nice and I loved my margarita but I was disappointed in the food based on how much you pay. We started with the Queso and for $4 you get a small ramekin of the stuff. It's about the size you would get when you order a side of sour cream. My son ordered the 3 item... More

A very busy spot, but among the better New Mexican restaurants in town. We waited an hour on a weekend night in October, not in prime tourist season. Be sure they don't seat you in the prefab tent-like structure in the back in the cold months. Enchiladas and soft tacos delicious, as were hot sopapillas. The salsa, guac and chips... More
