We ate a wonderful lunch at La Choza today, for a reasonable price. The Chile Relleno still had a bit of crunch, and the cheese inside did not overwhelm everything else. I love their sopapillas-- the best yet since we got to Santa Fe last month- light and tasty. Definitely better than our last experience at their sister restaurant, The... More

It IS nice that this restaurant is where the locals eat. However...If you are from Southern California and used to great mexican food you will feel that La Choza is over priced and lacking flavor. Great mango margarita, average dinner.

We love La Choza, and have eaten there frequently ever since we landed in Santa Fe, some eight years ago. The food is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is great. However, sometime in the past few months, the prices on liquor went up rather radically. I like a glass (or two) or red wine with dinner, but the... More

Dinner here was a great experience. The restaurant was very busy so we waited 10 minutes for a table. Whilst not in the plaza, this restaurant was great. The staff were helpful and attentive and the menu and food was fantastic. Really tasty and good quality food. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Restaurant was quite busy, local families, couples and some tourists like us. Very tasty NM food, big portions, quickly delivered. Well spiced green chile stew. A cOuple of good local draft beers as well. Nothing too fancy or adventurous, just good spicy tasty food. We will go back

Great to visit Santa Fe after moving away and revisiting La Choza. Stuffed sopaipillas with crane adovada was great.

I chose this restaurant by Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Excellent food, marguerita, service and atmosphere. Fish tacos on blue corn tortillas were so delicious. Busy and upbeat.

Margaritas were excellent! There was a long wait so we opted for three bar seats. Our orders were served promptly, food was delicious! I loved the deep fried puffy pastry that you eat with honey, I forgot what they are called. Good dinner!

This was our first time here. We came on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. The parking lot was full but we found a spot on the street. We had an 8 p.m. reservation which was honored promptly. The service was OK - our waiter seemed stretched a bit thin. The food was very good - we had... More
