We have been eating at Dinner For Two for over a dozen years. It continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe, and with good reason. Award winning Chef Andy Barnes continues to evolve and create new, delicious offerings. He likely has something on his menu to satisfy almost anyone - including you. His parents, Pam and... More

First impression is that is a professional and friendly place to have dinner. For our appetizer we had bacon wrapped shrimp with jalapeño which was very good but the bacon should have been cooked a little more. I tried their mushroom soup and my wife had their salad with a balsamic vinaigrette which we both enjoyed. For our entrées, we... More

This is a small, intimate restaurant that provides a "fine dining" experience at affordable prices in Santa Fe. It has a very strong local following. The 3-course Sunday prix fixe menu is an excellent bargain. Reasonably priced half-bottles of white and red wine. A solo classical Spanish guitarist adds to the ambiance. The fresh baked bread, soups, veal dishes, stuffed... More

We recently stumbled onto this cozy little restaurant in Santa Fe. Wow. The food was excellent, wine prices decent and the ambiance was just what we were looking for. Warm, cozy and perfect for a romantic dinner. Needless to say we will return. A bonus for us is that it is walking distance to our little casita. But parking is... More

We had an early dinner here on Christmas. The place is casual and eclectic and spins off takes of American regional specialties and culinary classics alike. The bread is off the hook. The chef prepared a special cherry spiked loaf for the holiday and it sang with soft butter and the brut rose we were drinking. The bbq sauce with... More

A remarkable dinner on Sundays for only 19.95 for soup or salad, entree, and dessert. Very good food, and plenty of it. We didn't have room for the dessert. Probably should have taken it back to the hotel.

We are frequent visitors to Santa Fe having experienced numerous dining establishments throughout the city. The first negative experience we got is that we had called Dinner for Two restaurant amply in advance and were rebuffed by the person attending the telephone informing that it was entirely sold out for that day. Two minutes later through the www.opentable.com portal we... More

We had an excellent meal at Dinner for Two. The entire experience, from greeting, through service and the food itself, was outstanding. Kudos to the chefs, servers and management for a job well done. We'll definitely return next time we're in Santa Fe.

Though not a relaxing atmosphere, we enjoyed our dinners. I had veal and the others had filet mignon. Perhaps the hustle and bustle was caused by the fact that it was Christmas eve.

We were looking forward to a great experience and the main problem was all food arrived lukewarm and not hot. The grilled vegetable salad was very good as was the pate. My veal was average, barely hot and way too many capers. My husband had sturgeon with a giant lobster claw that would have take superman to crack open. I... More
