Old School and Awesome

The menu is perhaps more old school than nouveau cuisine, but there is a reason things like Chateaubriand and Banana's Foster are oldies but goodies. Both were prepared table side. The meat was cooked to perfection in a lovely sauce, and it just melted in our mouths. We had to refrain from... read more

We live in Santa fe and wish we had more positive things to say about this restaurant, because we like it (off and on). The atmosphere is cozy but the food is inconsistently good and bad. We've given up risking it!

My husband and I came here for a date night. The tables are quite close together and we were next to a group of 4 that was having a vibrant conversation. It is hard to have a romantic dinner in this setting, but we made the most of it. The service was ok. Our server was very busy, so some... More

Most fun, most delicious happy hour in Santa Fe! Arrived when the family owned restaurant opened at 4 pm. Was greeted by one of the owners (mother) and got to sit at the bar in front of the chef (son) and ordered from the appetizer menu. Coconut shrimp, beef sliders topped with shrimp salad, Kobe beef "haut" dog, crab cakes... More

I believe that this is probably a hit or miss kind of place. Our meal, the food wasn't too bad. It's expensive, maybe too expensive. This place is walking distance from the Eldorado, which is why we chose this restaurant. The distractions is what really hurt the evening. Our waiter turned out to be focal point of the meal. IMHO,... More

We went there not knowing what to expect. It exceeded all of our expectations. First, they decanted our bottle of wine, something you don't see in many places. We started our meal with their signature table side Caesar Salad. Very impressive and delicious. It was enough for four of us. The main courses were also excellent. Filets were delicious, as... We went the Sunday after Christmas and they and a great priced 3 course meal for $19.99 per person and a pre-fixed menu. Their wine special was $30 a bottle (we opted for the red...it's a cab it and was delish) There were 4 of us (2 were 19-my kiddos) and we all enjoyed everything about this place. It was... More

I ordered a Chatubrain on a marsala sauce that was excelent and an cesar salad both made at your table. The cesar salad had too much garlic. The food was very good but had very slow service.

We called months ahead for reservations for Christmas Eve dinner and were told that the menu would not be pre- fix so that was what we were looking for as well as delicious food. We arrived and were seated and then given a pre-fix menu. Too late to try another restaurant. So we ordered and the prices were crazy high,... More

Had Christmas lunch at $69 dollars a pop. Terrible steak and very small portions. A total ripoff, we are locals that have eaten there several times but no more. They won't even respond to our emails. Some customer service!!!!
