Loved the red and green chili posole while dining outdoors by the fireplace! We ate here several times and all choices were excellent. Sant Fe seasonal brew was very good as well?

This is one of the few reasonably priced restaurants in the plaza area and the food is great. I had the house chicken sandwich and my husband had a burger on the first trip. Both were excellent. We ate in the covered patio area, it was very inviting and had an outdoor fireplace. Good service, great food, good price and... More

Our family was looking for a more affordable restaurant in historic Santa Fe. The place we'd originally picked was closed on Friday night, and we ended up here. At first, we weren't sure if it was a family friendly place, but when we poked our heads in, they happily directed us towards the covered patio towards the back. It was... More

Hands down the best burger on PLANET EARTH. We first came to Del Charro in 2008, and the burger blew my mind. Literally everytime I would eat a burger, my mouth would water while daydreaming about Del Charro's burgers. There was one time the green chili was too hot and it had to be scraped off, but overall, I've never... More

Burger Blunder: Ordered the del Charro hamburger as a safe choice and one occasionally recommended here. Menu claims the source cattle are grass fed. The burger is a modest $7 but not a good value due to an absence of flavor and a bit dry. It is as if the burgers are precooked, kept warm and then served. I rescued... More

We go to Santa Fe once a year or so and almost always stop by Del Charro at least once. We always sit in the open air area. There is a roof and wall so you are protected from on-lookers and any sprinkles but it is bright and airy, unlike the indoor bar area which seems dark and dreary to... More

Busy place tourists and locals. stopped in for light bite and drinks. We had sliders and chowder. Beer selection limiting...margaritas seemed to be the highlights. Service attentive. Along the river. Outside seating with fireplace and heaters is outside but closed in to outside- not truly outside

The Del Charro Saloon is on a corner of Don Gaspar near the river. We had been told that they had cheap beer and great burgers. And indeed they did. The food and atmosphere and service were all pleasing. It is part of the Inn of the Governors complex. The Del Charro Burger and beer battered fries were delicious!

For fast food it is good. Nice variety. From Hamburgers to Mexican. Always a daily special. Just wouldn't want to dine here every night. Nice fire place and cozy place. Nice heated area for cool nights. Would eat here again when staying at the Inn of the Governors.

Neighborhood bar restaurant with very reasonable prices, good local cuisine, and regular crowd. Menu is limited to "southwestern pub type food". Two excellent fireplaces that add charm.
