The restaurant can be a little noisy in the evenings on weekends, but the food quality is excellent. There isn't a wide selection, but the prices were reasonable. It's worth checking out.

For someone who doesn't care for tequila I can honestly say that these margarita's were amazing! Service was extremely friendly and and the atmosphere was very cozy. The food was top notch for what it was as well. If your in the area, it's worth the stop!
Stay away. Sitting here now based on a recommendation. Margaritas are awful!!! Could've stayed home and made better. Waste of your time and money. Staff not so friendly and effecting. Service poor. Look elsewhere for a good time in Santa fe!!!
When I want to take a break from the crowds on the plaza, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, I walk a couple of blocks to Del Charro. My favorite bar menu item there is the chicken tenders and fries for about $5, with a shaker of margaritas for $6 or so. When it's really...

Depends on what you want. This place has limited ambience. Just a bar, some tables and a few TV's. That said, the drinks are good and the food is pretty decent which is why locals show up there. Potato salad was very good - hamburgers OK - margaritas were very good.
This bar/lounge/restaurant is located in the Inn of the Governors. The menu is limited, as befits a bar restaurant, but the selections are interesting. We ate there twice and all the dishes we had were very good. Service was very prompt and friendly. Best of all, the prices were very, very reasonable. We did not sample any of their drinks.
We were visiting Santa Fe for the day and stopped to get information at the Tourist Office. On leaving we asked where might be a good, but reasonable place to have lunch. We were advised that they liked Del Charro Saloon just down the street. We arrived just after noon and the place was packed, but luckily we found a...

The house margarita was recommended to us by our waiter,a nd it was by far the very best I have had in a long time. Fresk lemon and lime and th tequila was so smooth it made me have to watch my intake! Simply delicious. Food was good, and considerably above average for "bar food". Service was good and our...

Del Charro is the restaurant attached to the Inn of the Governors, but seems to attract its share of locals. The locals gather in the saloon section, which has a good bar. The bartender knew patrons by name on my early afternoon visit for a Santa Fe Brewing IPA. My wife and I used our Inn credit toward supper. Her...
