we got a few sandwiches and margaritas for a great price ~20 bucks. the food was really good and in decent portions. The margaritas were also good, in a tin shaker/tumbler, and i think you get the best value anywhere in town for the price of about $6. downside was the extra charge for take out to eat by pool...why? more

Stayed at the Inn of the Governors and had dinner at their pub-restaurant Del Charro. Great, large, inexpensive margaritas. Had a light supper there with my companions. The stuffed poblano chili with chipotle cream sauce was a bargain at $7. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they had ordered. A great place for a light supper and a large margarita! more

This seems to be a favorite, local watering hole. We spent 4 nights at their hotel (The Inn of the Govenors") as we were attending a conference and this was one of the conference hotels. For an excellent remarkably inexpensive and ample meal, mostly Southwestern cuisine, hard to beat in any city. The hotel it's in, Inn of the Governors, is also a great value for its combination of charm, caring service, comfortable rooms, and very good hot breakfast buffet. more
