Fabulous flavor

During a recent visit to Santa Fe, an artist at the farmer's market recommended Pyramid Cafe and we weren't disappointed. Forget the burritos and chiles and head for this Greek and Mid East feedery. Helpful wait staff. Great options. Prices are very reasonable.

We've eaten at Pyramid often for years and it goes in waves. Last night, Saturday, no lamb, which knocks out several dishes on the menu, all dishes we ordered including appetizer served at once, no Turkish coffee, falafel slightly undercooked. Food good, except the falafel, and we like the ambiance, but something was out of whack last night. We'll pass... More

Shared the gyro and the vegetarian platter and both tasted...just like traditional Mediterranean food should! I've had some other Greek/Mediterranean in Santa Fe that just didn't have the traditional flavors, or had no flavor at all, but this hit the mark for me. The chef and the woman working up front appeared to be owners and both were friendly despite... More

Clean tasting and fresh. Some other places serve similar dishes with too much oil, too much salt, too much lemon. Here you can always ask for more lemon wedges and of course you can season with salt and pepper to your liking. The owner is often present making sure that all runs smoothly and that everyone is happy with their... More

A must try for the best gyros in Santa Fe. They have teo locations. We went to the one on w. Cordova. Great wait staff and the fries were great. A little off the beaten path and no green chilies.

We enjoyed two dinners at the Pyramid Cafe during our recent visit to Santa Fe. We were so happy with our meals the first time that we had to return. Daryn was our waiter and he helped with our selections. He understood our tastes and had the kitchen put sauces on the side, etc. We had the King B’astilla with... More

Have gone twice now for lunch and have not been disappointted. Both times tried different lamd dishes. The lamb Gyros was excellent. Lamb was tender and not over cooked, portion was great. Also had the lamb combo, the serving was huge could not finish it all. Can wait to go back and try something else. They have great Mediteranean food

We had chicken roti, baba ganouj and a lamb salad. Baba and lamb salad quite good chicken not so much. The sauce was good but the chicken itself was tough and over cooked. Since we did takeout don't have much to say about the service. The people we did deal with were quite pleasant. Place is small. In a strip... More

Another great find in Santa Fe. We tried the Morraccan dishes this time for dinner. The smell of cinnamon, orange sauce was devine. The dish is called B'Astilla w-Chicken and Almond. The other offering we tried was Moroccan Lamb Cous Cous another homerun for The Pyramid Cafe. Carrots, raisons unbelievable tender Lamb. The portions are huge and super reasonable.
