Very traditional Mexican, friendly people, great prices, good food. Love the authenticity of Mexican atmosphere. Casual dining, but good food.

I liked it so much I tried both their locations. Unpretentious atmosphere, great service, wonderfull food, fair prices. You can enjoy the seviche tostada with chips and several types of salsa for @ $5. What a deal. A full meal is between $12-$15 but everything I saw looking worth every cent.

I ate Shrimp Veracruz, every bit. My wife ate a dish with shrimp, octopus, scallops, bacon and beef. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal.

Every time we are in Santa Fe we eat at Mariscos at least once & it's ALWAYS outstanding ! We have also taken friends & family -all have agreed that it's wonderful. If there was a higher rating than Excellent - they'd get it from our family. Great !!!

Get the ceviche tostadas and be very happy. Also the best raw oysters, yes, in the desert ! Not expensive. Only draw back, no tequila.

We went for lunch. I had the combo seafood plate and my husband had the chopped meat/seafood dish (don't remember the Mexican name, but reminded us of Machaca) The food was excellent! The service was relaxing but not slow. We will absolutely go back to this special local restaurant.

I had the wonderful shrimp kabobs. Delicious roasted peppers, squash and shrimp so tender and fresh on a bed of white rice, which I skipped. Side of nice battered fries, I gave to my eating partner. Enjoyed a margarita on the rocks and shared a marvelous ceviche. Plenty of delicious food, service was fine, chips and three salsas upon being... More

Entire a new world of Mexican food. Marisco's looks plain on the outside, but once you enter you will be greeted with a large colorful aquarium and a dinning area that is "seafood festive". Excellent service a reasonableness prices. I enjoyed the WHOLE grilled Tilipia ($10.95) which was excellent. My wife loved the grilled shrimp ($9.95). Great margaritas, too. We... More

Years ago My family and I visited this restaurant and it was one of the best Mexican dinners we had. I loved the queso dip. Being that I live in Denver, I tried many queso dip recipes when I got back trying to duplicate it, but to no avail. Well, we made the 5.5 hour trek back to Santa Fe... More

We had not been to Marisco's La Playa in a long time, and decided to give it another try -- but the experience left us a bit disappointed. This is a lively restaurant with bright, Mexican decor, and pretty good service. Started by sharing the octopus and shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and tasty. Husband had the shrimp tacos, which...
