Everything on the menu is fried fried shrimp, fried fish, french fries Yuck it was terrible We have been here as a couple and with friends and have no reason to go back here. The food had no taste and no one at the table was thrilled with there meal. I will not go back and do not recommend this... More

There are many delicious dishes to choose from that are reasonably priced. My elderly mom is happy with every shrimp plate on their menu. The service is great. Just go.

Great food and service, fresh seafood, feels like you're in Mexico (just ignore that it's in a strip mall).

I was born and raised on the left coast and traveled extensively. poorly prepared. Marisco's version of seafood is ordinary at best and poorly prepared most of the time. For instance, it does not compare with fish tacos in any number of San Diego restaurants or taco stands. My rule: no seafood when landlocked (unless they fly it in fresh!).

Had read a review in the Albuquerque Journal. A great review, so I decided to try it. I took 3 lady friends to Santa Fe for lunch at La Playa. The food was out of this world. The oysters on the half shell were the best ever. Everyone loved what they ordered. The service was excellent. Will drive up there... More

I stop here whenever I am in Santa Fe. I love the unpretentious family feel of the place. The furniture is hand carved and brightly painted with lots of birds and tropical foliage. The ceviche is very fresh and the seafood soup contains every type of shellfish imaginable in a well seasoned tomato based broth. There is something on the... More

We've visited this restaurant twice and the food is so good. There is a dish for two that we order which is called "Descada Mar Y Tierra" (It is a specialty). It's a combo of beef, chicken, bacon and shrimp prepared in special seasonings and topped with cheese. It is served on a hot plate with warm miniature tortillas. Comes... More

Recipes from Mexican Coast rather than "traditional" Mexican cooking (chile sauces for example). Friendly casual atmosphere with well made fresh food. Try it!

I had a strong craving for shrimp around dinnertime and decided to check out Marisco's La Playa on Cerrillos since it has been a while since I visited. The Shrimp Kabobs looked good on the menu and were even healthy especially if you avoid the over abundance of starches on the plate, which included both a bed of rice and... More

Stumbled on this restaurant --- near our hotel ... Initially put off by decor... But we loved the shrimp and the enchiladas ... The food tasted homemade and the Tres Leches was delious. The service was excellent. Definitely would go again
