Great food and service, fresh seafood, feels like you're in Mexico (just ignore that it's in a strip mall).

I was born and raised on the left coast and traveled extensively. poorly prepared. Marisco's version of seafood is ordinary at best and poorly prepared most of the time. For instance, it does not compare with fish tacos in any number of San Diego restaurants or taco stands. My rule: no seafood when landlocked (unless they fly it in fresh!).

Had read a review in the Albuquerque Journal. A great review, so I decided to try it. I took 3 lady friends to Santa Fe for lunch at La Playa. The food was out of this world. I stop here whenever I am in Santa Fe. I love the unpretentious family feel of the place. The furniture is hand carved and brightly painted with lots of birds and tropical foliage. Recipes from Mexican Coast rather than "traditional" Mexican cooking (chile sauces for example). Friendly casual atmosphere with well made fresh food. Try it!

Stumbled on this restaurant --- near our hotel ... Initially put off by decor... But we loved the shrimp and the enchiladas ... The food tasted homemade and the Tres Leches was delious. The service was excellent. Definitely would go again

The place was clean and colorful but the food was bland. No flavor. We had shrimp tacos. And the Margarita's were average. The salsa was good but that is not a reason to return.
