Fun for a splurge

Canyon Rd, perfect Santa Fe ambiance, what else can I say? Santa Fe prices! Wow was this place expensive! The meal was very nice, small portions, we got Paella. It was good, not amazing though. We sat on the patio, very nice. I had a pomegranate margarita. Tasty. You have to pay to park in the... read more

This is very nice Spanish restaurant at the far end of Canyon road. We stopped for lunch one day after walking through the sculpture gardens on Canyon Road. We had a nice lunch Spanish tapas on the verandah fronting the street. One disappointment was the unreasonable price of coffee/expresso. Nonetheless, we liked the food ad ambience so much we returned... More

This restaurant has history and you feel it when you walk in. We ate on the front porch. I had chicken fajitas, loved them. My partner had the enchiladas with green chili sauce and said it was the best she ever had. It is worth the trip and time to try this on. Also, they have entertainment at night with... More

Way to spoil an otherwise great evening. Our server followed us onto the porch and questioned us about the amount of tip we wanted to leave. The server stated that he expect at least 20%. The wonderful relaxation feeling after delicious tapas and 1 hour of flamenco disappeared immediately. My wife had to give him cash so he would leave... More

We met some friends for a drink and a snack after walking around Canyon Road, and the location was great. Sadly, the drinks were merely OK, and the tapas were very disappointing: greasy, cold calamari and patatas bravas that were terrible. On the plus side, our dessert was excellent and the service was decent. Perhaps the full dinners are somehow... More

Have been there many times-- we make sure to go on each visit to Santa Fe. The menu is always varied and the food delicious.

If you haven't tried it do. Lovely atmosphere (especially on the porch), interesting and delicious tapas menu and great service. I highly recommend it.

Tapas and Delicious Mains and art all along Canyon Rd. This is quintessential Santa Fe. Optional flamenco show. Music in the bar. Always a great evening.

FOOD -- I have been to Spain 6 times and am very familiar with Spanish food, including tapas. I have been to this restaurant 3 times over the years. If you want basic bar food, hamburgers and the like, you can get good average food in the bar area of the restaurant. They frequently have entertainment in this space as... More
