Good tapas spot

Great place to rest your "dogs" on Canyon Road after browsing the artists shops. Good small plates to satisfy many appetites. Try the fried avocados with spicy pico. Excellent. Don't be discouraged by the lack of parking on busy days. Public lot across the street can get full. The sangria was... read more

The pork tenderloin sandwich was amazing, make sure you get the sweet potato fries and some of the chipotle sauce to dip them in! The wait staff was very polite and brought our 70lb dog lots of water.

Great wine prices and selection. The food was authentic but thought the shrimp dish was just ok.The dipping great was to soft for our liking. Filled with tourists, think the locals come later for the music which we didn't stay for. Expensive we thought for what was delivered.

We had a selection of tapas the second time we went for the flamenco show, and paella for two the first night. The restaurant is extremely popular and the wait staff very busy. The pacing of the food is a little off, maybe because staffing not a match for the numbers of people. The tapas were more delicious than the... More

The food is wonderful. Service is great. Everyone was so friendly. We went for lunch on Tuesday and they told us about the Flamenco show on Saturday. We came back and weren't disappointed. The show is a must-see and again our dinner was terrrific. Desserts by the pastry chef Steve (we met him) are fabulous. If you are visiting Santa... More

This local restaurant and cantina located on Canyon Road, offers nightly entertainment, including flaminco dancing, guitar music and more. The food was well-prepared and served promptly. Parking - often at a premium along this popular street of art galleries - is conveniently located across the street.

El Farol on Canyon Road is a perennial favorite of mine and it never disappoints. The smell of the tapas wafted through each little dining nook to tempt us to order way more, but we settled on a main of seared scallops with chipotle-mango cream sauce on THE best polenta I've ever tasted. So creamy and suffused with buttery goodness.... More

My wife and I went to El Farol on a Sunday evening. We were not very hungry, having eaten a large lunch, so we really wanted a tapas bar kind of place. Excellent Margaritas and wonderful small plates (Spanish Ham, Shrimp and Chorizo, etc.. It was obvious that this little place had a lot of character and I had read... More

This tappas restaurant is romantic and has a patio on Canyon road. It has live entertainment some nights. I would say the food is trying but is not very satisfying. I wanted a bit more taste, more options and better presentation.

Better than ever, in my opinion. Kale salad to die for, not to mention the pork tenderloin sandwich or the Argentine burger. Oh my! So many good choices. And the great location (paid city parking right across the street - handicap places do not pay). Best lunch people watching from the terrace, as art strollers visit up and down this... More
