Stay next store at the Lamplighter Inn, and walked over to the India House for the best tandoori chicken. The garlic nan is a must have.

India House is one of the better East Indian restaurants in Santa Fe. The lunch buffet is a chance to put together your own Indian plate with your tastes of the moment in mind. The service is good, food is good, but not a romantic lunch. Very family friendly.

My friend and I ordered the chicken vindaloo and the chicken korma for dinner because a mutual acquaintance thought they'd satisfy our urge for Indian food that wasn't too spicy. We also ordered a side of rice and plain naan because we thought they'd complement the chicken dishes' flavours. It turns out our friend was right because the chicken dishes... More

I completely agree with the last reviewer, although we were there for dinner, not the buffet. We were in the mood for Indian food and Raaga was closed on Sunday. The highlight of the meal at India House was the vegetable pakora appetizer -- crispy crust with a flavorful blend of veggies inside. Our party then ordered the Lamb Dal... More

We come from the UK and are very familiar with curry. It is in fact the national dish of the UK. Since we love a good curry and the India House being very close to our motel we gave it a go. Long story short we were very disappointed with the selection of the food available in the buffet. They... More

My wife and I come here whenever we can get to the lunch buffet which is a huge value and satisfies every taste bud with Indian spices. Never had a bad experience. We love the mango pudding as a delightful finish to the meal.

Welcomed us from the beginning, the food is good, freshly cooked and made with good ingredients. The tables and ambience of the restaurants give it an upscale look and feeling. Would recommend.

We sometimes come for the lunch buffet, and are always pleased with it. First, you are treated to a table with a table cloth, silverware, and clean glasses - like at a "real" restaurant meal! Then, the buffet itself serves hot (not luke-warm!) fresh dishes, that each have distinctive flavors that are tasty and appetizing. The servers and host are... More

I've lived in Santa Fe nearly 20 years. I've probably eaten at India House more times than any other restaurant primarily due to the great value and great food at the Buffet. In fact I've never ordered off the menu! The buffet has never let me down. Fresh ingredients, always well maintained and delicious. I love their chicken tikka masala.... More
