Pasquals is a Santa Fe institution - 2 cookbooks, a line out the door, knowledgeable staff and reliably delicious food. It is one of the first places I take out of town guests - because their huevos rancheros, tacos, nopales and kale salad are all worthy of writing home about. Its a funky space - with a huge communal table... More

After reading a few articles about the best breakfast venues in Santa Fe, I decided to visit Cafe Pascual's. And I'm so glad I did! A private table was not immediately available so I told my name and was encouraged to come back in about ten minutes. Fifteen minutes later I was seated at a table, having a good cup... More

Don't visit if you are not patient. They don't take reservations and we had to wait about 30 minutes at 1:00 p.m. Did notice that if we had waited until 2:30 pm the wait would not have been as long. They have a community table if you want to be seated more quickly. I had the chicken mango quesadillas. They... More

No question about it, the service and the food were excellent. I had the scallops and my friend had the haddock. Also had the soup of the day which was their cold cucumber and walnut – YUM! The scallops were moist, tasty, and without a speck of grit. The sauce was rich without being overpowering. I will say that from... More

A shopkeeper in Santa Fe recommended Pascual's--in fact, she said if she only had one day to live, she would have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cafe Pascual's. So we went for lunch. Very happening , small place, absolutely packed. And the food was as billed--fantastic. Smoked trout hash with poached eggs and a tomatillo sauce that should be illegal,... More

Charmingly decorated and very friendly, this breakfast spot had excellent breakfast and good service. Definitely the place to go for breakfast and the lunch menu looked good too.

Very small on the inside, and warm! Would be a cozy place if it were a smidge bigger, but really feels clausterphobic. Servers were nice, but took a while for anyone to acknowledge us when we first walked in despite there being 3 employees standing at the front counter. I had the two eggs with home style fries/potatoes, which were... More

We have been going to Cafe Pasqual's for breakfast again and again during more than a decade of visits to Santa Fe. It is far and beyond the best place we know to get a New Mexican-style breakfast. The food is reliably excellent, with unique takes on the New Mexican classics and several innovative dishes such as trout hash to... More

I enjoyed this breakfast experience overall. The food was fresh and the atmosphere lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. There was a lot of food for breakfast but that was in line with the prices - slightly expensive. I liked the variety of seating they had available and that in the center of the room they... More

If you go to Santa Fe - this is a must visit place! The food is fabulous and the ambience is delightfully quaint. My mango chicken quesadilla and side of grilled bananas was yum! The portions are very generous and the wait staff is excellent. The salted ginger oatmeal cookies are fantastic!
