Olay for Mexico.

As for staff I wanted to take them all home with me. They are attentive and charming. I personally find the decor a tad gloomy, but the margaritas are varied and very fine. They know how to cook good Mexican comfort food and you will be very well satisfied. People, including other diners are... read more

Been here a couple of times. Last visit, not so good. This visit was OMG good. Ordered tamales w/ pork, wow! Becky had blue corn enchiladas...wow! The red chile sauce is a party in your mouth. Everything worked well together, and we only had one marguerite (Cuervo Tradicional). Great Northern New Mexico food, good service from an established restaurant of... More

We went twice in two days it was so good. The first time I had the Flautas. I had never had them before and when they got to the table I was kind of surprised they were fried but they were very good. They came with an avocado salad that was delicious and some salsa just for the Flautas. Yum... More

Ignore all those food network "places" and trust me!! Over 100 margaritas, best green chili enchiladas in the world. I have tried almost all of them. Hot, fast, never a wait. Has a good history and cold beer too.

All the yummy green chili we could eat, great service, we went for an early dinner and it wasn't crowded at all. Highly recommend if you want a taste of New Mexico.

Wonderful New Mexico food - tamales and enchaladas are superior - order them Christmas and you will get red and green chili sauce - perfect. The salsa is excellent - just be careful of those 100+ margaritas - they are too good to be true but they sneak up on you lol. We never miss Marias

If you want authentic food, helpful, friendly staff and the best margaritas ever, do not miss Maria's. We went as a couple and then returned with 15 friends and everyone one of us raved about the entire experience!

You might spot Robert Redford or other celebrities here, since local folks often bring friends to Maria's for an "authentic" Santa Fe experience. It is old and famous, and the Margaritas are deservedly well known, but sadly, we have always found the food to be just average Mexican fare, and have stopped visiting. For family Mexican dining, we prefer the... More

Can't believe this place can survive in the competitive Santa Fe market. Ordered their quesadillas as an appetizer. They were hard on the eyes, were a ridiculous concoction of ingredients and tasted horrible. Took about two bites and sent them back. Same experience with their Chile Rellenos main course - they not only looked and tasted bad, but they were... More

My wife and I were so impressed with the food, service and overall dining experience at Maria's, we decided to return. We would have returned again had we spent more time in Santa Fe. The salsas (Christmas-red and green) and chips were a tasty prelude to the best TexMex meals we've had, and we've had many! The tamales were the... More
