We started with tamales which were great...but they didn't last long so we went with a bowl of the green chile stew...which was REALLY AMAZING. Also had the Carne Avodabo, Chile Relleno which were both great.

We were on our way home from a long trip and prefer to stop at local restaurants, like Maria's. With the exception of the green chili, the food all tasted like it came from a can. The refried beans were flavorless, the rice was mushy and flavorless, and the chips were right from a bag. The salsa was not to... More

We enjoyed the margs and blue corn enchilladas at Marias. The atmosphere was noisy and open but the high energy was fun.

The chips and salsa were good and the complimentary order was enough for us. I had vegetable tamales and my husband had pork tamales and green chili stew. We both had Santa Fe IPA. We thought the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere quaint. It was packed with people on the Friday evening we where there.

I'm normally an easy to please diner, but this was one of the worst meals I've eaten. The server got several things wrong with our order from drinks to food. He also had an awful attitude. The margaritas were ok, and the fajitas had no flavor. Definitely an evening wasted.

The restaurant was kind enough to allow a large group of us. Food was very yummy and service was excellent. The owner was really concerned with orders taking too long but the staff managed things perfectly.

50 old friends accommodated. One of the best fajitas ever had at a reasonable price, competent waiter verging on rude but never crossing that line waiting on 25 of our group. Any tourist wanting authentic New Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go (I know my fajitas were not the authentic choice but I tried some other dishes) Also... More

Had a late lunch on Saturday afternoon and the dining room was still packed. The food is good and for Santa Fe, extremely inexpensive.

Accomodating, fast service, hot delicious food for the family including kids. Friendly service. Fun to watch the tortilla maker. Read the margarita menu, there are hundreds to choose from.

We went to Maria's on a Monday evening. Many restaurants aren't open on Monday, so we weren't surprised that it was very crowded. They did a good job of handling the rush. Throughout the evening, the restaurant handled the crowd pretty well and the staff did yeoman service. Frankly, I thought that the food was pretty good- if average for... More
