This is a great local place and we always hit it when in town. They have great food and a great selection of tequila and margaritas.

Have not been to Maria's in long time. Today my wife and I had one of the best meals to be had in any of Santa Fe's area restaurants. I came in for a Norther NM dish but when I found Wednesday's special was chicken fried steak (a favorite for this old Texan) I had to have it. Best chicken... More

If you must eat while you drink, get the green chile stew or the posole. Both seem to be consistently safe. Skip the other food, which often comes out dried out or burned and is just...not very tasty.

We found Maria's our first night in Santa Fe and we were so impressed we went back the next night. The restaurant is clearly popular as it was packed both nights, but our wait time was minimal. The food was classic New Mexican, a little on the spicy side for the non-hot food eater in our group, but she enjoyed... More

The entrees were lacking the spice that we love about New Mexican cuisine. The salsa however was very spicy and excellent. There are certainly an abundance of margaritas to choose from.

While Maria's wasn't easy to get in to, oh my was it ever worth the effort. The green chile pork stew was, perhaps one of the best "soups" I have ever eaten. My wife and I each had one of their lunch specials, and special doesn't begin to describe the amazing favors we experienced. I only regret that we had... More

I've been to Maria's many, many times, and gave it a good review back in November. I have to amend that review. The past two or three times I've been here for dinner the food has been average at best. The margaritas are still outstanding.

Have been going to Maria's for about 10 years. Although It was purchased by new owners last year, they have changed very little. It remains one of the few Santa Fe restaurants that has a strong local following as well as a great tourist draw. The Blue Corn Enchiladas, Chile Rellenos and the Fajitas are excellent. You can watch the... More

Fantastic for breakfast or brunch. A favorite place for both tourists and natives. Get there early on weekends.

We have been to Maria's probably more than any other restaurant in Santa Fe. It's not the fanciest place or very romantic, and in fact it can be crowded, noisy, any you might need to wait for a table. But Maria's always has consistently good and authentic New Mexican food and always great margaritas. The kitchen and wait staff does... More
