Good food

Good food, tasty enchiladas and chile rellanos. I didn't care for the ribs but that's because the bbq sauce is sweet and I prefer smoky and less saucy ribs. Good margaritas.

I have been here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times the service was very good and friendly, too. The dinner plate back in Nivemebr 2015 was quite ample, and so reasonably priced. Also well flavored ( though I thought the chile relents were not cooked enough for my preference). But I was prompted to write this... More

Great tequila and margaritas. Great place to try a margarita with premium ingredients (for a premium price). Will change the way you look at margaritas! Food was very mediocre. No shortage of places doing Southwest/Mexican food better in Santa Fe. Would go back for margs and chips/salsa.

Grabbed lunch here. Was recommended by a friend that is a native to Santa Fe. Didn't look like much on the outside, but what matters is the cookin inside. The food was better than I could have imagined. I was seated in the bar area, likely as a solo. But I prefer that and it was nice. There are two... More

Stopped by for a late lunch with seating in the bar which is the best place to sit for that homey feeling. The appetizer tacos were crisp, stuffed to bursting with tasty ground beef and the famous ribs were sweet succulent juicy bits of addicting pork. The combo plate satisfied all our cravings for tamales, enchiladas, rellanos, and tacos served... More

I've eaten here several times, although not recently. Its positive reputation is based on its history, and not on current food quality. I've had ribs that were mostly bone and with a thick layer of grease. There are better places in town that prepare and serve New Mexican food. Decor, though old, is still pleasant. The list of margaritas and... More

Ive been stopping by this place for years now. The food is pretty good. The service is always fantastic. I'm not a margarita fan but if I was this would be the place to be as the list takes up one full page of the menu.

After sleeping in too late and stopping to grab some supplies at a very slow CVS, we missed breakfast/brunch at our desired restaurants. We arrived to Maria's at 11am sharp and were promptly seated. We all ordered a combo plate with different tamales, enchilada combination and each of us left very satisfied. The sopapillas were fabulous. It's a must stop... More
