We had to wait about 10 min for a table -- well worth the wait. Excellent selection of margaritas, wonderful salsa and the green chile stew is fabulous.

Came here on a weeknight on the advice of a local, glad we did! I can imagine it would be very busy on a weekend night, so I would make reservations. The food was wonderful, enchiladas, chile rellenos, beans, rice all very good. Had house margaritas which were strong & delicious. Topped off our meal by splitting a chocolate mousse!... More

Went for dinner on a recommendation by our hotel. First problem- parking. The rear parking lot is a nightmare with limited space and hard to maneuver. The hostess was very sweet and seated us quickly. Our waiter took our order and that was really the last time we saw him. The man busing tables became our waiter as he was... More

We read Maria's had changed hands and also read negative reviews. Now feel this is one of those places that if you give attitude you get attitude. We had a very enjoyable time of margaritas and Mexican lunch. Our waiter was a great guy who helped improve our second margarita. There is a dining area but we went into the... More

We love going to Maria's when we're in Santa Fe because they have the best margaritas by far. They are made with lemon juice - not the usual sugary mix - and plenty of triple sec and tequila. In the past we enjoyed the food. This time was different. The chiles in the chiles rellenos as well as the green... More

We have dined at Maria's many times over the years and knew that there were new owners. We were sorely disappointed. Nothing was the same--the tamales and sopapillas were leaden; the margaritas were unnecessarily weak; the carne adovada had no heat. The beans and rice on our plates (a party of four) were cold, as if they had not been... More

They always serve consistent great Northern New Mexican food! They don't try to be "trendy" to suit those so called "foodies"! They simply serve their best recipes at their best every day! The best chile rellenos, ribs , enchiladas found anywhere in the surrounding area! Thank you for your commitment to serve visitors and locals your best every day! Oh... More

I hate to always say "It's the best ever", but for Maria's it is certainly our first stop when we arrive in Santa Fe NM. The quality of the food is top notch for us. Green chile is certainly a northern NM calling card, and we consider Maria's the best. I had the blue corn chicken enchiladas with chicken and... More

Very busy, for a good reason. This is just plain good basic Mexican food in a really nice atmosphere and not outrageously priced. The margarita list is extensive...just point your finger at one and enjoy!. Four of us agreed we would go back.

Not sure what all the hype is about for this restaurant. All but 3 main course menu items were made with chile. I understand that is a "staple" here but it would be nice if there were more menu items without chile. Had the Beef Taco dish... no flavour. My Husband had the garlic New York steak. It was very...
