We went to Maria's on a Monday evening. Many restaurants aren't open on Monday, so we weren't surprised that it was very crowded. They did a good job of handling the rush. Throughout the evening, the restaurant handled the crowd pretty well and the staff did yeoman service. Frankly, I thought that the food was pretty good- if average for... More

I absolutely love this place! The food was pretty awesome and the service was even better. We came in on a Wednesday night and the place was packed, but with no wait time. I ordered the taco plate, my boyfriend ordered the combination plate, and my mom ordered a combination plate with steak. We had no complaints other than the... More

After searching for a bit to find a decent place to have drinks on a Sunday night in Santa Fe, we stumbled into Maria's! We were very surprised to see their vast drink selection! The chips & queso were excellent. The Santa Fe pale ale is a local beer served here which I'd recommend trying if you're just in town... More

Maria's gave me a great experience. First off, the margarita I had was delicious. I had a house, and later informed the bartender I wanted something different. She asked several questions, then made something that lived up to what I had in mind. I had the chile rellenos, which were pleasantly different than what I'm used to. They fry them,... More

This is one of those rare and truly authentic local finds. Fresh, homemade tortillas, salsas, etc. The tacos were fantastic as was the green chile stew. A must try if you like authentic New Mexican food.

Dined here based on 2 local recommendations. Huge margarita menu, fantastic food, great home atmosphere. We had a couple of traditional dishes. Excellent. They like the spice so you may need a couple of margaritas to stay cool. Could only handle 2 of the margs, plenty of kick to them.

Continuing my quest to find the best NM food in NM, we went back to Marias last weekend. I had been a few years ago and thought it was pretty good at the time... at least 4 stars. This time, however, was a different story. First of all, though, I should mention the service was terrific. They were friendly and... More

This place is simply amazing. As a newbie to Maria's, I was not impressed with the entry / waiting area. It was crowded with people and from what I could see of the restaurant, it looked like all of the tables were packed with more people. After a short wait, we were taken down a rabbit trail through narrow hallways... More

The food was great and the service was quick. We ordered the combination plate....cheese enchilada, chile relleno, beef taco and a tamale. Some of the best food I have had in Santa Fe. We enjoyed the chips and salsa. Again the staff was super friendly. The place is old and has mismatch tables and chairs: however this make it charming.... More
