On Wednesday, the $15 special is awesome. It's one of the best deals in Santa Fe for delicious made to order pizza and a pitcher of beer. You just need 2 adults. You'll have some of the best thin crust pizza and good quality beer. There will be a line of locals. Parking can be challenging. For a fun experience,... More

I went to this Pizza Restaurant because I saw it on Triple-D. It looked good. But, when I got there the place was a mess. I ordered a medium pie to go and ordered a beer while I waited. It gave me a chance to look around. Wow, dirty tables with x-customers dirty plates and glasses on at least 5... More

Pizza was excellent. Really good and we are a tough crowd when it comes to pizza. Service was nice. Food is fresh. Local ingredients. Def go here. Away from the hustle and bustle. And away from the masses at the plaza.

The pizza is made with care (dough bubbles are popped) and the distribution of toppings are evenly scattered and it is pretty delicious as high desert pizza goes in Santa Fe.

I'd go back for the atmosphere, service and watermelon gazpacho, but I expected better pizza at a place visited by Diners, Drive-ins and Dives... the original pizza choices were creative and I hoped to leave craving another pie. Instead I just wanted more of that terrific soup. If your kids have been cooped up in the car all day, they'll... More

This isn't your average pizza shop - this is fresh, made to order food with a twist. The restaurant has a courtyard area with plenty of shade so you can enjoy your food in the beautiful NM sun.

My wife and I got a takeout pizza from them...called "Norm". I enjoyed it, but the wife called it salty. I thought the unique cornmeal crust was quite tasty. I would probably give it a 3.5 stars, while the wife lowers it to a 3.0. Seemed to be a bit flat with ingredients. I tend to like a more vertical... More

There are so many wonderful things to say about this place! The pizza has a thin crust with perfect texture. There is a base menu of topping options, but they are always offering numerous seasonal special toppings and combos as well. They also make excellent salads in several sizes, and offer gluten-free crust. The building itself is a converted warehouse,... More

We visited Santa Fe on vacation and made the trip to Backroad Pizza. We had the lunch special which was salad, a slice of pizza and a drink. The salad and pizza were both excellent. We especially loved the crust on the pizza. Backroad Pizza is not in the downtown tourist area, but is worth the trip.

After years of many great pizzas from Backroad, I have now had three pizzas that were significantly not up to par. One came to the table very over done, one came to the table really lacking in ingredients and another was really over the top with too many ingredients. This is far from the perfect pizzas I experienced in the... More
