We loved it - from the atmosphere to the style of service to the quality of food everything was great. Pizza was second to none and the icy cold Santa Fe Pale Ale didnt hurt!

The atmosphere is great. It is warm and everyone is kind. The pizza is very good. There are also pool table in an upstairs area to play on. A old Pac-man machine sits in the corner. But it doesn't always work.

Talk about service with a smile..I stopped here on my way to Albuquerque Airport. With my UMASS sweatshirt on, I found out 1 of the owners grew up in MA! So friendly, & the garlic rolls were so good? I even caught an older couple ordering a pizza four different ways, and the service was just so patient & polite.... More

Okay, so I do love Triple D spots. Sometimes they are great, sometimes they are meh, sometimes they are the best thing that has ever happened to your mouth. Backroad is the latter. First off, get your brain right before you get here. You wait in line and your order at a counter. You have to jockey for a table... More

Great pizza, great attitude, and a great beer while waiting for a take out. Be patient and savor the atmosphere.

We've tried Backroad Pizza on several occasions, and frequently come away wishing the pizza was better. Backroad likes to run specials on their pizza and beer on a weeknight, and it really drives the crowds in -- including us on a number of occasions. It can be a little bit competitive to find a seat, particularly outside. The atmosphere is... More

Read reviews and watched the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives video and decided to try it for dinner. Delicious thin crispy crunchy crust ( and I'm bready-crust lover). Staff is friendly and helpful in making a selection. Fun watching our pizza being rolled and assembled. Bus-your-own table service. Side salad was OK. Ranch dressing good, vinaigrette very tart. Left overs heated... More

Tried this place after reading about it on DD&D, Food Network, I always check that before I go on a trip. The pizza was great, sold by slices which makes it easy. Seemed like a local favorite. The only problem is parking - not enough of it. We almost left because of this problem but then we found a spot,... More

The pizza is great! Got a pitcher of beer and it cost $20, had I known I would have gotten something else to drink. Live and learn.
