The food was among the very best Mexican fare my husband and I had in Santa Fe--authentic, yet with orginality: for example, almond flan. The spice was nicely done on the entrees, accenting but not overpowering the flavor; additionally, Mucho Gusto had a magnificent NM dessert wine: Black Beauty, which was a deep red wine infused with dark chocolate. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the green salsa was some of the best I had ever tasted- I took a pint home with me!

the food is good, simple, but for 11 dollars to get five taquitos with a tiny side of guacamole and a tiny side of salsa seems a lot but they were good and blue corn which is great

This is a good, quick place to get decent, authentic mexican food. We have hit this place as we get ready to leave Santa Fe. It is worth checking out.

We went on a Friday evening because it was next to our lodging (Inn on the Alameda). We went fairly late, around 8:30pm. It's pretty small but a fair amount of tables were occupied. We were seated immediately. And waited. And waited. And waited.... and were about to leave while watching staff busing tables, serving others, and standing around, with... More

After reading some lousy reviews of other top 10 establishments in town, we thought we'd give this place a try. The atmosphere was awkward-walking in the front door made it appear we were the only people there. We were seated promptly in the next room-cozy, maybe a bit too cozy, as the tables seemed too close together (there were in... More

We probably would not have ever found this place, but friends who live in Santa Fe took us there because it's one of their favorites. We enjoyed the food, the service, and the friendly banter of our server. She recommended the shrimp dish to me and I was pleased with the result. It's a low-key, laid-back kind of place, but... More

This was our second visit to Mucho Gusto. Depending on where one sits, it has a decent to excellent ambience. The quality of the food is good and the prices are, considering the proximity to the Plaza, very reasonable. The location is so-so, but once you are inside the restaurant, one tends to forget about it. This is definitely a... More

The one experience I had with Mucho Gusto was very positive. We asked them for a couple of salads w/ grilled chicken "take away" and the food was outstanding. I can only imagine that the food in the restaurant is equally worthy!

We were traveling through town and wanted authentic Mexican. They did not have a lunch menu, prices high, food was good, presented excellent, small portions for my man. No frill with no complementary chips and salsa, however a few came with the meal and weren't fresh. They didn't even have mints with our $32 bill.
