I went to Mucho Gusto recently while visiting Santa Fe with friends. The food was delicious. I had the special of the night--chicken carnitas. The different salsas were tasty, as well as the guacamole. Being from the Southwest, I always appreciate the local Mexican restaurants that are tucked away from the bright lights of the tourist destinations. This place fit... More

I had the lamb burrito special with green chile sauce and it was fantastic! It didn't have beans inside the burrito, just chunks of lamb, cheese, mushrooms, sauce, etc. black beans and rice on the side. Excellent place and service!

This continues to be one of the best New Mexican restaurants in a town known for them. I particularly like their chimichangas (not many places in Santa Fe offer those) and enchiladas Suiza. Cheerful but unobtrusive service, pleasant atmosphere.

A local suggested the restaurant and what a great suggestion! Excellent and interesting food and superb service. The food has wonderful flavors and it is not standard Mexican food. The black beans have distinct flavoring as does the rice. The "BOMB" is the bomb and not to be missed. The food tastes fresh. The atmosphere is casual so no need... More

Ambiance was nice. Sizzling dish was so hot the vegetables burned. One must stir it or transfer immediately to a plate to avoid charring. Otherwise lovely food.

We were looking for a lunch spot away and we found Mucho Gusto tucked away. We went in for lunch, were seated immediately, and were well attended by our waitstaff. The food was very good and the atmosphere was cute and pleasant. It is not the spiciest place in town, but the food was flavorful and satisfying. I will definitely... More

It's not visible from the street; you have to be looking for Mucho Gusto but it's well worth tracking down. The margaritas are small but excellent. The pork fajitas were wonderfully flavored. The food is fresh; the staff are so helpful.

The thing you can count on here is that everything is fresh. You get a sense that someone's grandmother is in the kitchen cooking for you. Do not hesitate to ask for what you want. The chef often is able to make your dream come true if you just ask. I noticed that to please the healthier tourists and the... More

We went because a picture on trip advisor of the Orange tequila shrimp looked amazing! It was even better in person. We made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. I like sweet and tangy so the meal was perfect for me, it would have been too sweet for my husband. His enchiladas were perfect though. The staff were all... More
