Lunch with Friends

The perfect place for a lunch time margarita and great south western style food. The staff are terrific and provide service with a smile. The quesadilla are very good and my favorite at Mucho Gusto. The other members of our party enjoyed the burritos and the chips and salsa to start were excellent.

We eat at Mucho Gusto at least twice a month. The Mexican food is excellent and very reasonably priced, the staff are always helpful and it's a quiet environment for a group of four or six people.

Ate here about a year ago, and was underwhelmed. Have seen some of the reviews and decided to try it again. Better, but not great. Food is decent, but the dining room is blah. I felt like I was in a strip mall location or at a chain restaurant - not in Santa Fe. They have a beer and wine... More

Get the fajitas and the mole enchiladas! the "margaritas" made with rice alcohol were also really good. A great place, fantastic value in Santa Fe!

The service was prompt and friendly all throughout the visit. The atmosphere is quaint, and cozy. Nothing fancy to knock your socks off, but very comfortably like being at your aunty's home. The food was well portioned and simply delicious. We will certainly be returning. A good, simple menu with something for everyone. Many options for various diets (GF/etc)

We were greeted by a very engaging hostess/manager/owner who talked with her customers and made us feel that she was, indeed, very glad to meet us! My husband and I had beef fajitas that were perfectly marinated and tender. We each had two of their wine margaritas which were delicious! We also followed the advise of our hostess, a self-avowed... I had the special shrimp dish cooked with Poblano peppers, and my husband had flautas. We would rate them both "5" out of 5, for flavor and presentation.

As others have said the mole enchilada is the best. I tend to be a mole snob and haven't found a place that screams for me to come back for my mole fix. I found it! The specials were pork fajitas and shrimp and salmon tacos - both were top rate (as well as the shrimp enchilada). The tomatillo sauce... More

First trip to Mucho Gusto and this place lives up to its name in Spanish meaning "great taste"! Had their mole enchilada...and it was decadent. Followed up with their flan for dessert.....nothing but a total masterpiece. If you are a local and you don't know about this place it will become an easy repeat experience. And I did not even... This little semi-hidden gem is a favorite of locals. They serve primarily New Mexican food with a few European and American fish and beef favorites as well. The New Mexican food also has a touch of Old Mexico as well. We had excellent enchiladas and shrimp tacos. The desert flan was also top drawer but the margarita pie had a... More
