Osteria d'Assisi was opened in 1995, in a renovated home in the historic downtown district of Santa Fe. The restaurant is named after the city of Santa Fe's patron saint, Saint Francis, who was born in the town of Assisi in Italy. Italian h'osteria's are known for their authentic cuisine served in a homelike, warm & friendly atmosphere. The Osteria d'Assisi features regional Italian cuisine, utilizing the time honored Mediterranean approach to preparing food with olive oil and fresh ingredients. We really enjoyed our dinner at Osteria on the eve of Valentine's day! We had the Osso Bucco and a pasta dish (Shrimp Fettuccine Carolina) with shrimp. Both melted in our mouths and tasted exceptional. We had dessert and coffee. I forget the name of the dessert - a crust filled with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Just what... More

Osteria D' Assisi, in Santa Fe, NM was slightly disappointing to me. I went to visit NM; while in Santa Fe for the day, we decided to have lunch here. The service was delayed. The artichokes with goat cheese was divine, but then my entree arrived. My lasagna, which was under seasoned, and the pasta seemed to melt with the... More

I often forget about Lino's Osteria. There are so many dining choices in Santa Fe. The dining room is wonderfully comfortable. The menu expertly perpared. I had the Ravioli with Porcini mushrooms... divine!

We loved everything...made a reservation through Open Table, asked for a seat by fire and we got just what we wanted and we were seated on time. EXCELLENT cocktails...we are martini girls and the lemon drops and cosmos are the bomb!!! We all had excellent meals from the roast duck to the lasagna! Salad is a meal in itself so... More

This evening we celebrated my husband's birthday at Osteria D'Assisi. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Santa Fe. The menu is diverse and the service was excellent. I had the spinach pasta with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. It was delicious--rich, but ohmygoodness. My husband had the lamb, a friend had the seafood pasta, and her husband had... More

We went here for Thanksgiving dinner because it was one of the more reasonably priced prix fixe menus for Thanksgiving dinner. The positives: they had a nice selection of entrees from which to choose. All of our entrees were very good. Our son ordered ravioli stuffed with heirloom tomatoes and burrata in a pesto cream sauce. He said it was... More

Located just off the Plaza. My wife had the butternut squash ravioli and I had their answer to linguini with clam sauce, where the pasta had a small amount of chili baked in, with clams and shrimp in a white wine garlic sauce. We split the "Romanoff" dessert. I generally do not like Italian food, but this was probably the... More

Great menu. Food was wonderful. Service was great. Pizza was done perfectly with a crisp thin crust. Lunch menu has a nice special Chianti to complement your meal.
