Osteria d'Assisi was opened in 1995, in a renovated home in the historic downtown district of Santa Fe. The restaurant is named after the city of Santa Fe's patron saint, Saint Francis, who was born in the town of Assisi in Italy. Italian h'osteria's are known for their authentic cuisine served in a homelike, warm & friendly atmosphere. The Osteria d'Assisi features regional Italian cuisine, utilizing the time honored Mediterranean approach to preparing food with olive oil and fresh ingredients. Our menu includes fresh seafood, locally grazed beef, veal and lamb, house made pasta, fresh bread baked daily, gourmet pizza and creative desserts.

Two years ago we ate hear and I could not wait to return. In March of 15 we did. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. From the appetizers through the desert it does not disappoint. It will be a regular stop in Santa Fe for my family.

We had a delicious meal. The blue point oysters were fresh and served with a unique dipping sauce, not your standard cocktail sauce; a bit of cucumber, horseradish and something else I couldn't discern, but which brought out the taste of the oysters. I chose the special, which was a Chilean sea bass with a sauce containing shrimp and a... More

Santa Fe, is just not a great place for Italian food this restaurant is pretty, has a nice full bar, has a good antipasto plate..but the food is hit and miss. i'm a local and sometimes it can be good and sometimes okay. It does have a nice outdoor area in the summer that is good to sit out and... More

We really enjoyed our dinner at Osteria on the eve of Valentine's day! We had the Osso Bucco and a pasta dish (Shrimp Fettuccine Carolina) with shrimp. Both melted in our mouths and tasted exceptional. We had dessert and coffee. I forget the name of the dessert - a crust filled with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Just what... More

Osteria D' Assisi, in Santa Fe, NM was slightly disappointing to me. I went to visit NM; while in Santa Fe for the day, we decided to have lunch here. The service was delayed. The artichokes with goat cheese was divine, but then my entree arrived. My lasagna, which was under seasoned, and the pasta seemed to melt with the... More

I often forget about Lino's Osteria. There are so many dining choices in Santa Fe. The dining room is wonderfully comfortable. The menu expertly perpared. I had the Ravioli with Porcini mushrooms... divine!
