Osteria d'Assisi was opened in 1995, in a renovated home in the historic downtown district of Santa Fe. The restaurant is named after the city of Santa Fe's patron saint, Saint Francis, who was born in the town of Assisi in Italy. Italian h'osteria's are known for their authentic cuisine served in a homelike, warm & friendly atmosphere. The Osteria d'Assisi features regional Italian cuisine, utilizing the time honored Mediterranean approach to preparing food with olive oil and fresh ingredients. Excellent Dining Experience

We have made multiple trips to Italy and this old school Santa Fe restaurant reminded us of those trips. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. Our waiter Pietro, as well as the owner and chef, were native Italians. The food was authentic and prepared perfectly. There was... read more

Enjoyed a lovely dinner on the outdoor patio with my husband. Great salads and entrees with great service. My halibut was cooked perfectly. We will come back again.

Chef and owner are from northern Italy. Creative menu with well-prepared food. My sea bass (the real kind, not Chilean) with an interesting salsa was wonderful. A nice Italian white wine (Orvieto), the ambiance, and excellent service lent themselves to a memorable meal.

The food was delicious and well priced, the wait staff was friendly and attentive, we had a wonderful time here! The Veal Ravioli and Spaghetti Carbonara were to die for! Loved everything about our meal. The bus boy even told us where to find a place to go find music after dinner. :) Would definitely go back!!

Two years ago we ate hear and I could not wait to return. In March of 15 we did. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. From the appetizers through the desert it does not disappoint. It will be a regular stop in Santa Fe for my family.

We had a delicious meal. The blue point oysters were fresh and served with a unique dipping sauce, not your standard cocktail sauce; a bit of cucumber, horseradish and something else I couldn't discern, but which brought out the taste of the oysters. I chose the special, which was a Chilean sea bass with a sauce containing shrimp and a... More
