Good Food, Nice Atmosphere, But Serice Not Consistent

We were walking around Indian Market when we heard a young woman yell something about free pizza samples and Osteria. We had heard good things, so we tried it. We decided to forgo our original lunch plans and give it a try. We were warmly welcomed and seated right away. The table was a bit small... read more

Good food and pleasant environment. Make reservations. The Linguini Vongole was tasty but not exceptional with its red sauce and shrimp. The tuna likewise was tasty. I don't rate the place highly because I am not attracted to average restaurants that charge $23 for a plate of pasta! There are plenty of other inexpensive options that serve good to very... More

I was introduced to this restaurant years ago by a local. I have been coming back ever since. The food is great and so is the service. Mae was a wonderful server and did a great job answering our questions on the food. The menu has a nice selection of items. We will definitely return again.

Full disclosure – we live in Santa Fe and this was a very busy tourist weekend, a time when we generally avoid dining in the downtown area, and tonight was a perfect example of why. I very seldom review on T/A unless things are either outstanding or dismal. This is a restaurant we have been to many times over the... More

This is a really good Italian restaurant, north of but convenient to the Plaza area. Our realtor suggested this for a quick lunch, and it was a great choice. Among the group, we tried a shrimp salad, vegetable soup, beautiful caprese-style salads, and Italian sandwiches. Excellent all round. The owner was present and proved to be a charming guy. He's... They offer a nice patio and good wine selection, (although the staff needs more information on the wines they offer). The owners are from Italy offer good Italian food.Traditional pasta dishes are simple and delicious. I had the gluten free pasta which I am convinced should never be offered by any Italian restaurant. I have yet to have one that... More

Service was pleasant, food was good and ambiance was superb. Standard Italian fare well presented. Recommend for a change of pace from Northern New Mexico fare.

We had dinner here after walking across the street from happy hour at Santacafe. We had the special of the evening, a beef dish in a rich mushroom sauce accompanied with a couple of vegetables. It was delectable! There is outdoor and indoor seating and all the food I noticed going to and from my table, from pizza on, looked... More

Full house with plenty of pre-opera diners and those in for the live pianist/vocals. Service moderately spotty throughout dinner, but overall good. Young faces with limited restaurant experience/knowledge. Bartender was the champion of the evening, covering a full bar area along with service orders. Took a solid 20-25 minutes to receive 2 cocktails, but they were both delicious and well... More
