This place serves some great Italian food right in the heart of Santa Fe. Prices are very low, but the food is far from junk food. Covered outdoor seating is available.

We came in for supper. You walk in and place your order. So the initial impression is of a fast food restaurant. Both my wife and I order a dark beer from their microbrewery. It was excellent. The wood burning oven is at the back of the business. We didn't walk back to it and it is open for you... More

The best pizza in town. Hands down. Fresh veggies and delicious crust with the pizza cooked to perfection. We eat there every time we visit.

This was our third pizza place to visit while in Santa Fe, and turned out to be our least favorite. We had a house salad that was pretty good and tasted fresh. Then we had the Calzone which probably would have tasted better if it was warm/hot. Not sure why but it was a bit on the cold side once... More

Awesome little restaurant. Reasonably priced, delicious pizza and a terrific salad too. Very close to everything.

There aren't a ton of quality restaurants in Santa Fe which are convenient for large groups. This is one of them! A good amount of seating, everyone orders separately as they walk in, kid-friendly, friendly service... and the pizza was really good too. They also serve beer (maybe wine, I didn't check). Pizza options range from the standard American options... More

We didn't want to eat at the El Canon at the Hilton where 3 years ago the waiter threw our tip at us. We walked across San Francisco Street to Il Vicino. Every night of our 4 night stay researching WW 2 spies we enjoyed dinner there. The 1st night the International Folk Art Festival was making things crowded. The... More

Pizza was awesome. Ordered a meat-lovers and a pepperoni. Both done perfectly with a little char on the crust as you'd expect from a wood-fired oven.

I have been eating at Il Vilcino for 14 years and in that time, had never once had bad service or a bad meal. Everything on the menu is delicious and the value is perfect! It is worth the walk away from the plaza for some good Italian cuisine!
