Good Enough to Go Back!

We were recently in Santa Fe for a week, and felt really lucky to find Il Vicino. After ordering at the counter just inside the front door, we chose a table and seated ourselves. Nice atmosphere, several seating areas from which to choose (main dining room, bar area, outdoor dining), family... read more

In Santa Fe where things can get pretty expensive fast, this place keeps the prices reasonable and the food was great. We had the dinner special where we had a salad a and a small personal pizza. I know it's a chain, but it still has a great, small restaurant feel with fresh food. Very good.

When I went there the other day with a friend she said it was the best pizza she'd had in Santa Fe! There's free parking behind the restaurant. Regulars get tickets, 10 stamps= free meal. Nice wine selection, very affordable.

Although we have not eaten at every pizza restaurant in Santa Fe, we believe that Il Vicino serves some of the best pizza in town. The atmosphere is casual, and even though you order you meal and beverages at the counter, the servers who bring the food to your table are very friendly. If we are craving pizza, this is... More

One of our favorites! We try to stop in ever time we're in the area. It's only a block or two off the Plaza and well worth finding. The food and staff are excellent. All for a very reasonable price.

Stopped for a quick lunch in between museum visits. Ordered the special which included a pizza and small salad. Service was quick and food came out fast. Part of the patio was heated due to weather.

Over all we were happy with our experience. The Pigtail Pilsner was very good. We ate the Campagnola pizza (#09) and spinach salad. Both were great. the order line moved slow due to the credit card scanner not working and the cashier was also filling drink orders. The manager was helpful in setting us up with a table for seven.... More

Join the crowd waiting in line to order at the counter to enjoy pizza. Once you order and pay they will bring the food out to your table. Prices are reasonable and service is pleasant. Easy downtown location. Not much ambience or romantic corners but there is an outside covered terrace to handle the over flow of hungry diners or... More
