Meh ---

It takes chutzpah to include "New York" in the name of any deli and if you are going to do it, you better walk the walk not just talk the talk -- well the New York Deli in downtown Santa Fe has all the requisite dishes, smoked fish, corned beef, matzo ball soup, but the fact of the matter is... read more

Our family had a variety of sandwiches, which were large and presented well, and were very satisfying. I'd suggest that you. stay away from the matchstick fries; although they tasted fine, that was probably due to the fact that they were mostly fatty coating rather than primarily potato. Although the restaurant was completely full at lunchtime, service was fast. No... More

We are vegetarian so we like their bagels. I like the toasted sesame bagel sandwich with sprouts, swiss cheese, tomato, pickle and a side of slaw. They also do a tofu ruben with sauerkraut that is pretty dang good - ask for the tofu to be grilled more than usual otherwise it is underdone.

I ordered a BLT from take out and was dubious about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Ironically the restaurant rating were in the paper I read while I waited. Serious violations. When I got my sandwich and matchstick fries home a flea crawled out of the fries. The sandwich was cold, bacon undercooked and fries cold 10 minutes later. The... More

Imagine finding a New York style deli in the mountains of Santa Fe. This is a very authentic deli on Cerritos street. The sandwiches are big and full and come with a great potato salad. The people there are all very nice. I highly recommend this deli.

Fresh bagels, lox, flavored cream cheese - this is where New Yorkers feel at home with their favorite foods that have a bit of a southwest twist. Besides that, you might see Gene Hackman sitting at the bar. We just took some out of town guests there this weekend and they loved it. Great for breakfast and lunch. I'm not... More

We had a delicious breakfast here the morning after arriving in their outdoor patio. Service was great as was the food. Two days later we had lunch which was also very good.

What a find this was for our daily breakfast ritual with its lovely Santa Fe ambiance. Can't wait to go back there again for their superb breakfast breads, tasty sausage and just-right eggs. Besides it was cool and quiet in their courtyard and to sit outside in heavenly weather beats indoor fancy restaurants anytime.

Picked up egg and potato burrito to go and a latte. Green chile was okay, eggs moist and tasty and potato finished off the combo. Worthwhile. Latte was a bit on the cinnamon side it seemed, not so great

Like the title says. We went for breakfast and it was beyond great. Our server was horrible, rolled her eyes every time we ordered something or asked for refills. If it wasn't for the food I wouldn't go back.
