Birthday dinner fresh and presented in a bright straightforward style

If not a sushi lover and not sure what to order for dinner try the chicken teriyaki bento dinner. This option allows you a little bit of soup, salad, tempura, sushi, and teriyaki. Pair this with chardonnay and finish with the tempura fried ice cream or ginger ice cream for a celebration.

this is as good as any place I've eaten in NYC--or better. A couple unique New Mexican influenced dishes very worth trying. But most surprising is the incredibly wide selection of super premium sake's. You are invited to sample them in "flights" and there is usually a very knowledgeable person on hand to act as" sake sommelier."

I love my sushi, I love my Japanese dishes, I just love everything about this place. From the time you walk in the door, to the time you leave there isn't ANYTHING that could disappoint you because lets face it, there is a lot of competition out there especially in Santa Fe. Well I'm here to let you know that... More

We have eaten here over the years however the food is not at the level it was in the past. There are other sushi restaurants in town much better.

Just had a delicious dinner at Shohko Cafe in Santa Fe. We enjoyed the spinach salad, and the soba and ramen noodles were truly the best we've ever had.

As locals, we love Shohko when we need our sushi fix. Excellent menu with a wide variety of fresh sushi as well as teriyaki and tempura entrees. Also an extensive, high quality saki menu. Setting is casual, sparse Japanese. Service is friendly and professional. Servers are generally knowledgeable about the many different saki offerings.

I'm a hypocrite. I don't write many reviews, but I don't make dining decisions any more without consulting them. So this it my first sushi reveiw in Santa Fe, even though I'm pretty sure I've visited every sushi place in town at least once. For sophistication, style, and most importantly taste, in my opinion, Shohko is in a league of... More

It's our go-to place for sushi in New Mexico! Always excellent service and food. I really enjoy sitting at the sushi bar, but all the sitting spaces are nice.

The staf are helpful and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is great. Sushi and tempura recommended along with miso soup. I had green tea icecream straight, although the they do it tempura style deep fried!!

When we came in the restaurant, everyone was smiling and friendly. We sat at the sushi bar and placed our order. Every piece of the menu was so fresh and tasty. The crab maki were made of fresh crab. The presentation of every dish was perfect and gracious. As this was the end of the day, we could talk a... More
