The Inn of the Anasazi was right next door to Hotel Chimayo where we stayed. Our hotel did not serve breakfast so we walked over to Anasazi for breakfast almost every morning. Terrific service and great food. Wonderful ambiance in ole Santa Fe. Breakfast and dinner was very good. Expect to pay a little extra, but well worth it.

As a Santa Fe native I have plenty of excellent choices for eating. This has been my favorite restaurant for the past 26 years.

Truly spectacular experience from beginning to end. First of all, they just reopened this area after renovating and there are less tables in the dining room making it feel so much better than before and the bar has been made slightly larger w a new large hightop seating in the restaurant area. Chef Juan is so talented where do I... More

We wandered into the bar at this Restaurant because, from the street, we heard two musicians singing and playing instruments. We sat at the bar for an hour and a half enjoying their music. The bar was nice and the service was good. The music was nothing short of Great. The two musicians were older men and both played and... More

We ate in the temporary dining room earlier this week. The gazpacho trio appetizer was excellent. The expensive sea bass, however, was overcooked and tough. No notice made by the server who picked up our plates that the entree was only half eaten.

Dining room seemed like a club-room you might see in a movie, relatively small and very cozy. Food was well prepared, nicely seasoned, and the best tortilla soup of the trip. WE had four entrees, all but the salmon quite good, but honestly can't remember the details.

We had dinner here after reading another TA review mentioning great margaritas. Sorry to say, they had literally two choices and both were subpar and way over priced ($12) in my opinion. The service was good, no complaints there, and the food was well prepared and tasty, but it was so expensive that we didn't see the value. We liked... More

Having stopped in a number of times in the past on the way to Taos Ski Valley for a much anticipated romantic dinner & stay, we found ourselves disappointed this go 'round. It is still a lovely restaurant but the (entire) service was either distracted this night or just not on a par with prior ones. This we could have... More

The hotel and its restaurant/bar are reverent of place. The art pieces were high class. Refined, I guess you would say. The duck enchilada with mole sauce was a sophisticated blend of flavors, and on the sweet side rather than spicy side.
