I live in the greater Houston area, I am used to Tex-Mex Restaurant. I enjoyed eating at Adelitas, we had the Mariachis to play a couple of songs. It is not a Tex-Mex Restaurant, the staff was friendly.

Portions are generous but the food was rather bland. We were in the area so we stopped in to grab a quick bite for lunch. It's not a "destination" spot but we would eat here again if we found ourselves in the area.

A quiet lunch with family and friends. The food was well prepared, the service was attentive. The "small " bowl of fish soup was a generous portion and was outstanding, the Chile Rellenos were cooked well, and my Carne Asada Burrito was enough for two people. We'll all look forward to a return visit.

Late dinner after just arriving in town. Three of us stopped in here because it was close to our hotel. I had shrimp ceviche tostadas. They tasted neither of shrimp nor lime. All I can say is that they have some good very hot salsas that made the dish. My daughter had a soup that looked like cocido, huge hunk... More

Our kitchen was under construction and our favorite nearby restaurant was closed so we thought we'd give Adelitas a try. What a mistake. We ordered the Breaded Beef and Chili Rellenos. The breaded beef was pounded to the thickness of a corn chip, breaded and fried. It was dry and tasteless, more like shoe leather than breaded beef. The Chili... More

This was down from our hotel so we thought we give it a try for lunch. Not too crowded so service was fast. Food was very good although the drinks were a bit pricey. I would consider this homestyle Mexican food. I would stop by again if in the area.

The meat in my taco was burnt and the bacon in my wife's sandwich was also burnt and hard. The cook must have been having a bad day!!!!!!!

We were driving down the road hungry and wanting some authentic food without the normal upscale hoopla of Santa Fe. This is the place! Mostly locals there but the food is authentic Santa Fe Mexican food, not altered by American standards. Totally wonderful. We were there about 11am on a Sunday and they had live Mariachi music (2 men and... More

Would not call this a Tex-Mex restruant, but as true Mexican as could be found north of the border. Caution, beware of the green sauce if you can not tolerate spicy food. Very resonable prices. Had the Chile Rellenos which were great, wife had the Stuffed Sophia, filled with ground meat, a very generous serving. Chips were thicker than I... More
