This place is great. Good service (despite what is said by other reviewers) and a very varied menu. They have things on the menu that one very seldom sees. One example: the cow's lips are out of this world. The dish comes with corn tortillas, cilantro, and raw onions and are as soft and delicious as can be. The meat... More

The service was ok, but not the best. They brought us chips and salsa but the chips weren't very good. I wasn't very hungry when I ordered so I got the popcorn shrimp, which was very delicious. Overall it was an ok experience, but not my favorite.

We have eaten at Adelita's many times over the years. The food remains delicious! They have changed their location to a few blocks north of where they were 5 years ago, but the quality of their food remains great.

You don't come to Adel it as for decor or glossy menus. You come for delicious food. My husband and I are on a long road trip of 3 weeks and the seafood dish for two was simply one of the best dishes I have ever enjoyed. Clams, shrimp, a couple of crab claws, and much more in a savory... More

We got into town tonight and we wanted Mexican food so we went to Adelita´s. That was a huge mistake. I ordered a Margarita and they were out of mix....whaaaat??? Are you kidding me? A Mexican restaurant where you can't get a Margarita. We should have left but we figured we'd stay because it was close to our hotel. We... More

The place looked interesting and there were several cars in the lot so we figured we would give it a shot. We should have realized something was amiss when we stood around in the empty entry for over a minute before a hostess showed up to take us to a table. We sat there for several minutes before a waitress... More

In the two years that have elapsed since our last visit, Adelitas has either changed their chef or simply gone downhill. The place is showing its wear and tear although it appeared they have a loyal local clientele.

When this place first opened it was delicious. Currently Adelitas has made the local newspaper for a number of inspection violations however I didn't get that memo until I went and had a really poor margarita (which tasted like tequila and ice), waited ten years for a side of some kind of green chile and then another 20 minutes for... Saturday evening for dinner, and there was a lot of customers, but we were seated quickly. Server was slow to take the order, and it didn't get any better. Ordered the combination seafood platter and it was an unpleasant surprise -- the crab, mussels, and shrimp were all still in the shell. Took a while just to get at the... More

What a place! First the outside looks inviting, but the inside needs renovating, old booths and carpeting, some interesting Mexican, New Mexican highlights, but it appears on the shabby side. One always needs to try places at least twice which I haven't done yet. First appearances can be so deceiving. Then the menu...quite large and finally with something different. Cows... More
