We have been here each of our last three trips to Santa Fe and the place never disappoints. Like the heading says though get here early or expect a wait for dinner. It's a very popular place frequented by vacationers and locals alike. The service is friendly and reasonably prompt given the restaurants popularity. Food is great and the portions... More

A group of us went to dinner, and ordered up just about everything we could try. The guacamole in this place is the BOMB.COM! The Chips to go with it are great as well. The plates of food are big, and delicious. I will say I was disappointed in the posole! It looked like something from a can, and heated.... More

You're the bomb.com, too, Melody! It's great to know that our food, drinks, and atmosphere kept you satisfied. We appreciate the feedback about the posole and will keep it in mind moving forward. Of course it was not canned - but it is made the traditional way with only 3 ingredients - posole, pork, and salt. Next time we suggest... More

Nothing special, food average- when there is so much great food in Santa Fe why settle for mediocre.

It's alarming to hear that you found our food underwhelming. We try very hard to stand out as a Santa Fe specialty, and it's disappointing to see that you didn't get that impression from us. We're going to keep working hard, and hopefully next time you'll get to enjoy the fantastic dining experience that we're capable of providing. Cheers, Tomasita's... More

Oh my God! Amazing food and best Margerita .. Ever! Great service too. Loved our waiter. First time in Santa Fe, got a recommendation to go to Tomasita's, known for their red chile and margarita. Told to get the " swirl " or " frog " Margarita. I ordered the swirl margarita. A blended margarita with a shot of Sangria..... More

Don't worry about salivating as you wrote this -- we completely understand! We're honored that we got to see you almost every day of your visit to Santa Fe. It's awesome to hear that you really enjoyed your swirl margarita and red chile enchilada. Hopefully you'll get a chance to visit Santa Fe again soon! All the best, Tomasita's Restaurant More

We had a great meal here for a low price on our first night in Santa Fe. I had the cheese enchiladas, and my boyfriend had the chili rellenos, both with green chili. The green chili even had a little kick to it. We both had margaritas which were excellent. Would definitely go here again if back in Santa Fe.

We visited this restaurant on a recent trip to Santa Fe - and after hearing that there would be an hour wait and saw the packed waiting/dining room we thought we would be in for a great treat. The food wasn't terrible but we could not understand the hype. We started with the chips and guacamole, which was very good.... More

We're sorry to hear the tacos and quesadilla didn't hit the spot. Each and every dish should be packed full of flavor, so this is disappointing. How about one more chance to check out some more of our menu items? There's plenty of signature dishes on our menu that I know you'd love! Best, Tomasita's Restaurant More

We were quite disappointed with the food and service compared to the way it used to be several years ago. It was busy but it was noisy, the food mostly bland (a plus for many out of area tourists) and the restrooms were a little iffy. It is the first place you come to when detraining at the Railyard District... More

We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your recent visit, Mary Ellen. Each and every meal with us should be one to write home about, so this is disappointing.
