Very Good Wholesome Fare

Everything tastes freshly prepared and high quality ingredients are used - I have eaten here a few times and the food is very good yet I have never had a spectacular meal here. The ambiance is freshened up since I first dined here.

After visiting museums, we needed a rest and some food. We found Il Pattio on our way and stopped. We asked for a table outside which was pleasant even if a little warm. We ordered melon sangria, squid ink spaghetti and a tiramisu. We also asked for two glasses of water which we could only get after claiming a second... More

This was my second visit since early June, and I'll definitely return again. The food is excellent, though I've had better pasta in squid ink, and there are ever-changing special first and second courses. We tried stuffed squash blossoms for a first course and liked them very much. After dining at Il Piatto twice with groups, it is fair to... More

Our first night in Sante Fe. Wandered into Il Piatto and very glad we did. Excellent meal in a very cozy atmosphere. You can't go wrong here.

This restaurant was recommended by friends who've lived here. The pappardelle with duck sauce was tasty but the pasta was overly plump and chewy for my taste. The Caesar with anchovies was enjoyable. I think the prices are high for what we got. Out of respect for our friends we'll try it again.

Best Italian in Santa Fe! I usually steer clear of anything non New Mexico when in Santa Fe but we couldn't resist their menu and it was well worth it. Dinner was fabulous, they offer most of the pasta dishes in appetizer sizes so we were able to try several dishes. the Pappardelle with Duck Ragu & Mascarpone, Pumpkin Ravioli... More

This place bills itself as an Italian Farmhouse Kitchen and it truly lives up to that. My wife and I live here in Santa Fe. We spent last Sunday downtown walking around and decided to try this place as we'd never been there. IT WAS EXCELENT!. We just happened to arrive during happy hour and had a great time trying... My wife and I have eaten at Il Piatto many times over the last several years. It was our favorite place for a nice lunch in Santa Fe. Our last experience was disappointing and we will be seeking out a new favorite. Gone is the fixed price lunch which was one of the best deals in Santa Fe for good... More

We arrived during late hour Happy Hour and found the wine by the glass and appetizers half price. The appetizers we ordered were excellent as was the wine. We found the regular prices to be very high and portions small, however, at half price it was perfect.

We have eaten here numerous times over the years and came back after several years. We thought the food was good. I love the pumpkin ravioli, and the mushroom tart was excellent (a definite recommend). The wait staff was very attentive, although we saw three waiters that could not explain what "air chilled" chicken was, which, being on the menu,... More
