The food and atmosphere was great, although our waitress was kind of snobby, Only wine and beer. The food was special> I had the ricotta and roasted tomato salad which was wonderful.

We walked in on a Tuesday night without a reservation and were promptly seated. This was off season and we were looking for a nice quiet place for a good romantic dinner. The menu is excellent and many dishes have the option for an appetizer or entree sized portion. The specials were delicious, the wine list appropriate, and the service... More

We met friends here and had a great meal. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy, which made it a little noisy, but the service was still great. Every meal around the table was excellent and prepared with a little different flare. Appetizers also were not just the common fare. The duck dishes especially stood out.... More

We just happened to be there at Happy Hour where all the appetizers, drinks and some of the small portions of meals were 1/2 off. We tried so many things and everything really was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Good atmosphere, easy downtown location and wonderful waitress. I would make reservations as it is crowded.

We have been here 3 or 4 times before, but this visit was a real disappointment. The butternut squash soups was thin and tasteless we sent it back. The pappardelle was cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up. The pumpkin ravioli was Luke warm and the cheese has already hardened. The salad was small, limp and... More

All in you'll enjoy this place make reservation its small but comfortable. Noise isn't an issue. I wish I could comment on price but unfortunately I was treated... More

It is in the spirit of wanting some place that looks and feels nice to do better than it does, that a made us do a couple of tries at Il Piatto and it just doesn't make it. It is one thing to be charging high end prices, including for pasta dishes, that are not high end food but their... More

We have eaten here twice in the last few months and have been very impressed with the quality of the food and the variety. Red Chili linguini with mussels was fantastic. Also is nice that you can get all their pasta dishes in entrée or appetizer portions.

Be sure to try the gnocchi and the chicken livers. This is a favorite of mine whenever I am in Santa Fe.

Il Piatto has been in Santa Fe for eighteen years. It is riding on its reputation. The first hint was when we arrived at 1:00 PM for lunch we noted that only a few tables were occupied. The location is convenient and the premises are attractive. The three-course lunch for $16.95 seemed like a great idea. The prosciutto and melon... More
