Very friendly and helpful staff. Owner especially friendly and talkative if you wanted to chat. The service was excellent and the food was very good New Mexican. We live here in Santa Fe and this was a great meal at a very affordable price. The homemade tortillas were outstanding!

My family and I were looking for Mexican food restaurant outside the downtown area. We found this restaurant and it was great. We wanted to get a taste of Mexican food New Mexico's style and that's what we got. Mexican food in NM is very different from our Mexican food in Texas and in Mexico, but we went in there... More

When I was trying to get on St. Francis St. off of St. Michaels, I missed the exit, because I think it just showed the hwy # instead of the street name. So that's how I stumbled across this café. I'd heard it was associated with Tomasita's by the train station, which is one of my favorites near the plaza.... More

Prompt and very friendly service. This was our first visit, but we were treated like regulars. The food was very good and everyone on this Friday night seemed to be having a great time!

Per previous review ordered coffee when I sat down, cup kept full without request. Green chili very good. Sopapillas the real deal. Sweet waitress - coffee challenge for her to carry with saucer so might contribute to negative prior review. Ten to 20 % cheaper than in town and the quality was better than many very popular places we have... More

We have been to this restaurant 3 times now. The food is very, very good. Both times I had the cheese enchiladas (asked for them rolled rather than flat). The problem is service, or lack of it should say. Two of the times we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food and then again for the check,... More

This is a fantastic family owned restaurant, serving delicious, fresh, uncomplicated authentic New Mexican food away from the pretentiousness of the Plaza. They were beyond accommodating for special food requests related to dietary restrictions and everything is made to order. The green chile is fresh and authentic without excess garlic and onions added. It was actually chopped green chile I... More

Had been here before and the food was good, not this time. I had a burrito and it tasted very stale and bland. Cool little place but the food needs to be consistent.

We ate lunch there this past weekend after discovering it on Trip Advisor. Goodness gracious.. It was fabulous. The owner was so helpful and the waitress was very attentive. And then the food.. Authentic New Mexico food. Very fresh. The corn cake was out of this world. The hot sauce was the best. All of our food was cooked to... More

Excellent food. Wonderful friendly service. All the other "excellent" reviews are correct. If you come on Friday, there's a very good mariachi band, too!
