I travel to Santa Fe often. Because this had such a high rating on Trip Advisor, I thought I had better pay it a visit. Am I glad I did. The chocolate here is wonderful; best in town, in my opinion. The chocolate drinks are fabulous; a wonderful "treat" while shopping. The staff was nice, friendly, and were very patient... More

Very cute place with a nice assortment of chocolates and chocolate drinks. I really liked that they offered you samples of the different drinks so you could be sure you would like what you ordered. Parking is very limited so be warned. Otherwise nice little chocolate shop.

A great, intimate place to to try unique combinations of chocolates. Right when you walk in, the staff was informative and friendly about their products. This place topped off a wonderful afternoon in Santa Fe.

In town for a day of sightseeing and eating- stopped here for some drinking chocolate. Staff is super friendly handing out samples. The elixirs were delicious ( drinking chocolate) I had two- -3.75 each for three ounces- enough to try and not feel sick. I had some with chili- to spice things up. I would recommend a visit.

Kakawa is a Santa Fe institution. Every time we come here, we spend a few hours relaxing in and enjoying the atmosphere of the best little chocolate house in the west. The truffles are delicious and unique but the best part is the mesoamerican shopping chocolates. This is truly my favorite place in town.

I am a chocolate lover always looking for fun chocolate shops to try and boy was I pleased with this one! The service is fantastic. The staff is nice and very helpful. The chocolate is some of the best I've tasted and the caramels are out of this world! Definitely worth a visit!

Interesting and delightful indulgence for your sweet tooth. Lots of gourmet hot chocolate "elixirs" that are delicious and from far and wide. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A must try in Santa Fe.

What's not to like about chile and chocolate. Endorphins galore. This is a shop of extreme blissful sensations and cozy atmosphere, which is a perfect combination on a chilly December afternoon.

One of the best places to get chocolate. They have chocolate elixirs and you an even sample the elixirs before you decide which one you want. Their chocolate pieces are also good. It was also nice to see them use local flavors in their chocolates.

Nothing I don't like! Among my favorites - Jeffersonian Elixer; Sea Salt Caramels, Green Chili Caramels, Brownies, Chocolate Covered Macaroons...I could keep going, but... You'll just have to check Kakawa out for yourself!
