Drinking Chocolates...yumm!

I buy their drinking chocolate mix...usually the chile, and add a pinch to my coffee...delicious! Great little spot and their chocolate really is special.

Or third and forth visits here on our second trip to Santa Fe. - The sea salt ice cream is just the best especially with the chocolate fudge. - The brownies are rich and dense, and probably the best value there. - If ordering an elixir, try the half pint out full pint for full tasting and enjoyment! - macaroons... We passed by the Kakawa House on our way to Canyon Road and decided to stop on our walk back. Warm interior, friendly staff. The featured item are their chocolate elixirs -- thick, flavored warm chocolates. There were four apiece of two groups -- the European offerings, which were milk chocolate with a variety of flavorings, and the MesoAmerican offerings,... More

After seeing how highly rated Kakawa was on Trip Advisor, we knew we needed to stop by. After sampling the drinking elixirs (they'll let you try as many as you like), we settled on a few drinks, chocolates and cookies. Everything we tried was delicious, so much so that we brought chocolates home to Texas with us. A charming place... More

We drove by this place the night we arrived in Santa Fe, on the way to our hotel. It was one of the first stops on our list of things to see and do the following day. After being offered samples of some of the most popular chocolate elixir flavours, we made our selections. This is not traditional North American... More

I stopped by Kakawa Chocolate House as I happened to drive by it on my way back to our hotel. I chose to stop and enjoy a cup of cocoa by myself since I knew Martin wouldn't mind missing this Santa Fe must. I sampled a small cup of a mix the counter help suggested. She said it was her... More

This is an adorable chocolate house! It has a great environment, and I love the idea of it all! However, the chocolate is very bitter. So unless you have a refined taste for chocolate you may not enjoy what they have to offer.

Large group of two families went. Everyone liked the chocolate, also the candies. One recommendation - the small size looks too small but the drink is so rich and concentrated it's about right for most people. We had some chocoholics who coudn't finish the larger cup.

What can be better than drinking incredible chocolate....especially with a little bit of hot chillis.

I have never drunk so delicious chocolate in my life. Very nice place to visit during cold or bad weather. If you don't know what to order the lady would give you a small cup to try the taste. I wish I could come back there in future.
