Staff is super friendly and non-judging of the sample requests. The drinks are fantastic. The truffles are incredible. Based on another review, I got the goat cheese one. It was so good you have to say "YUM" every bite. The salted caramel brownie is one of the best brownies I've ever had.

I'm a repeat customer of Kakawa. I was first introduced to this gem last year. What can I say? It's a chocolate lovers dream! The sipping chocolates are nothing less than decadent and the truffles...to die for!

We loved that they really knew their stuff there and offered samples and advice on picking a delicious drink and/or snack. The staff was really friendly. We went there a couple of times while in Santa Fe.

We stayed five days in this town and went four times. The drinking chocolates are so good I just had to keep coming back. If you like spicy, you have to try their meso-american drink recipes. I am not even typically a hot chocolate drinker. I do coffee. This is not "hot chocolate". This is amazing. Complex, rich flavors. And... More

My husband and I just returned to Arlington, VA after a wonderful stay in Santa Fe. We visited Kakawa three times--and each visit was a sweetly sublime experience. The chocolates and brownies were wonderful--but the truly extraodinary experience was tasting the various chocolate "elixirs," especially those based on authentic Meso-American recipes, such as the Mayan or the Zapoteca. Having enjoyed... More

Amazing boutique chocolate shop. The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and passionate. It's appropriately priced for what you get, personal service and high quality products.

This is the cutest little shop and coffee house you will ever find. They have amazing chocolate drinks and a vast array of homemade chocolates. The only downside to this amazing little place is trying to decide what to get!! The proprietor and staff are all very friendly as well.

Such a unique experience. We sampled drinking chocolates of every variety - from sweet to very dark chocolate, each one very unique. The samples were free, but you can't help but take some home....and we got to meet Tony Bennett (the owner, not the singer :). They also have incredible chocolates as well. Perfect for gifts (if you don't eat... More

One of a kind chocolate elixirs... Scrum-didily-umptious Salted Caramel Brownies (thanks Ned)... Exquisite Kona Truffles... Unbelievable cakes (please, please make more cakes)... We love this place and it's great for gifts. Kakawa is not to be missed when you visit Santa Fe.

We stopped in to check out Kakawa Chocolate House after reading so many great reviews here on TripAdvisor. Turns out TripAdvisor reviewers know what they're talking about. We bought a couple of truffles, a chile caramel square and a dark chocolate covered macaroon -- all were fantastic!! We also had a sample of the chocolate elixirs and fell in love... More
