This was our second time at Chris' place and what a treat! The food is always good, the service is excellent and Chris is so dang friendly. We love this place and will continue to go when in town!

We had breakfast at Chris' Cafe this morning, and it was the tastiest breakfast I have had at a restaurant on this trip. I had the breakfast quesadilla, consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and guacamole on a fresh grilled tortilla. My husband had the pork chop, which he loved. The green sauce complimented my quesadilla perfectly. Hope we get... More

This is obscure little restaurant tucked away in the center of a commercial strip on the Southern part of Cerrillos Road. It can be hard to find, but do so for breakfast or lunch and you will find a very pleasant surprise. The menu has their versions of New Mex standards, but definitely kicked up a notch. Other classic fair... More

What fun to be able to sit at the table and talk with the owners, Chris & Nicole. It's this friendly hole in the wall place. Just the right amount of heat in the chili--nice selection of breakfast items--great coffee.

Thanks to TripAdvisor we found this place after being told we would have an hour wait in downtown! Arrived at 1:30 and was concerned that they close at 2 and food would be left over food from lunch rush! Not so! We both ordered frito pie and was served a freshly made highly spiced green chili frito pie within 10... More

Excellent, speedy service with great prices! Lunch is served all day (if that's your thing) and the huevos rancheros were perfect! It's in an unexpected place and you have to know what you're looking for!

Stopped in for breakfast and was very pleased with the quality and freshness. We got the breakfast quesadillas and the eggs were light and fluffy and cheese was molten. Service was great. We'll try to stop in again on our way out of town.

I had heard alot about this place froma friend who knows the owner. I went and tried the breakfast and was pretty disappointed with the food, for being a local restaurant.

Was here today for breakfast. The owner was so sweet, offered to get us coffee while we were waiting for a table. The food is very good. Had the carne adovado plate. A little salty for me, but very good. It's a comfortable locals type place. Will definitely return.

Nestled among decidedly very un-restaurant-like surroundings, Chris' Cafe is a surprise waiting to greet you. With just a few tables and a 1-page menu, this place concentrates on what is important - the food. Delicious, fresh ingredients and safe meats are all well-represented in the various breakfast and lunch dishes on offer. We can heartily recommend the vegetarian omelet [ask... More
