A regular stop for us, but service a problem this time

Food is quite good here, so it's a regular stop for us. They have very good gluten-free choices also and a very comfortable atmosphere. But, this time service was NOT good. Here is my best effort to provide a fair description: the restaurant is in a strip mall, but inside, they've done a great job creating a nice atmosphere. The area in the back and at the bar is far nicer than the front room, where you have windows but all you see is the parking lot and the supermarket. The... More

Thank-you for your feedback regarding your recent trip to Jinja Bar & Bistro @ our Santa Fe location. Being a Pan Asian restaurant we have a fusion of many different types of Asian cuisine and it sounds like our version of the Pad Thai just missed the mark for you, and for that I sincerely apologize. It is one of... More

Yes, there are many uppity-up restaurants in Santa Fe, but we continue to enjoy little Jinja Bar & Bistro when we want well-prepared Japanese/Asian influenced food at a reasonable price in a clean, welcoming, aesthetically pleasant atmosphere. Jinja has a really comfortable bar, which serves a large variety of very creative drinks, and two separate restaurant areas (the smaller front... More

Jinja's decor is rich & sumptuous with an old world feel. With locations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, this popular eatery serves up delicious Asian Fusion with a menu that came into being after the owner and chef traveled the world, honing in on their favorite dishes. I've never had a meal at Jinja that didn't satisfy. The drink menu... More

Was visiting family in New Mexico, and instead of cooking a big Christmas Eve dinner, decided to treat ourselves and go out. I'd been here once before on a prior visit years ago (before leaving TA reviews) and readily agreed to go back when it was suggested. We were able to get a reservation the night before, and were very... More

We went with a couple who go there occasionally and it was as good as they said. The Aviator martinis are really interesting and delicious. We got calmari and Bonsai shrimp appetizers that were perfectly prepared and light, delicious. Only complaint is that we were half-way through the appetizers before the drinks arrived. Entrees arrived quickly and were delicious too.... More

Jinja Bar and Grill is often our first choice for a spontaneous meal in Santa Fe. The staff are always courteous and friendly and the food is delicious. We took friends there this evening, and they thought the food even better than they remembered. The coconut soup is superb. The citrus avocado tempura is amazing. My rice paper salmon was... More

Have dined here several times for Lunch and Dinner. Very popular with the local community. Asian fusion, and not your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Food quality is excellent. Many appetizers and entrees come in "small" and "large" portions. For example, my wife and I split the small Lettuce Wrap portion that included 4 nice sized stuffed segments. Her Halibut and... This restaurant was amazing! The decor, the waitstaff (Amanda), music choices, fantastic bar and management were top notch. Now, the food.... Absolutely the best of everything! This is not your normal hometown Chinese restaurant! jinja focuses on the right stuff and nailed it! I would eat here at least once a week if I lived in Santa Fe. The nicest... More
