A place many of our friends like and we're happy to go back to

Dependably, consistently good: potstickers and lettuce wraps. Other regular favorites: Rice Paper Halibut and Heavenly Beef. We just went to Jinja for a birthday and enjoyed sharing a booth in the bar area, which is cozy and quiet enough to talk without shouting. Actually, most of the tables in the restaurant are high booths, so you don't really feel like you're listening to your neighbors' conversation. Our favorites are the flash-fried calamari as an appetizer to... More

On our recent visit with good friends I thought my shaking beef was too salty, but enjoyed a taste of my friend's Home-style Chicken Udon and will order that the next time. Drinks are reasonably generous, with a nice selection of beers and ales.

This restaurant is quite sophisticated and is an unexpected surprise for being in a city and state that boasts of its green chiles. The unique menu is full of delicious starters, soups, and entrees, e.g., my daughter likes the rice paper halibut; I like the home-style chicken udon. The ambience is wonderful - you almost feel as if you are... More

I just returned with a 13.99 takeout order of chow fun chili noodles from Jinjia. It was awful. The noodles were old, having disintegrated in to small pieces. Nothing in the order was fresh. I tried to be careful with the order when I called, stating that I wanted it fresh, and it appeared so on top, but it was... More

We had no reservation but were seated immediately. The menu is wonderful, and the food excellent. Great service, too! We'd have returned if we'd had more time in Santa Fe.

I liked the atmosphere. We asked for a quiet table and were given one. The food was plentiful and enjoyable and the service was very good.

Have frequented Jinja for many years. Stopped by today for appetizers and cocktails. Is consistently good. They have one of the best bars in Santa Fe.

Jinja more than made up for a last visit when we had not-so-good service! This visit was great from start to finish! Arty was EXCELLENT, making certain that food arrived in perfect timing and allowed us to have a relaxing, perfectly-paced meal with drinks first, appetizers, and delicious meal. Jinja always accommodates my gluten-free needs with an easy-to-read menu. Arty... More

The ambiance was nice and dim. ... interesting old pictures all over the restaurant. ... you'll have your own stall or booth. ... very private. ... The service was friendly and attentive. ... The price a bit high. ... Food was good and the food presentation was amazing. ... They have a clean restroom. ... We definitely enjoy our dinner.... More

I am not being boastful but when I recommend a restaurant it is where I would like to dine. Frankly I have been going to Jinja for years and they have the right combination to make your dining visit a complete success.
