Kinda Bland

Dinner with a large group. Service efficient. The Pad Thai was a bit on the bland side. The sauce almost tasteless. Well prepared and reasonable quantity. Nothing wrong, just a little blah.

Jinja has been one of my favorite places to eat for years. Tasty food and reasonable prices. I have been back three times this year, each time hoping that it was a fluke that it was so bad. Unfortunately, every meal was disappointing. My favorite dishes were not even appealing to eat. The ingredients didn't add up to anything tasteful.... More

If you like Asian food you will love Jinga. My favorite dishes are the shaking beef and the orange beef, the tempura is also excellent. Several of their desserts are on the must try list. I have never had a bad meal there the staffis friendly and the bar is a good place to sit and eat.

We were really looking forward to a return visit this year and even brought along a guest. Something just didn't seem the same. We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer that was a little disappointing. My wife and I both ordered the Pad Thai and found it also disappointing. We've had Pad Thai at dozens of places and this was not... More

The Singapore Noodles were so good that I asked if i could work in the kitchen for free for a week, just to learn how to make the dish! And I've been a chef for 50 years. Gary S.

I LOVE all their wonderful food! The potstickers are the best I have ever had, The Thai iced tea is to die for, and the rice paper salmon is phenomenal! I love Jinja and I think this is one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe!

I disagree with another reviewer who said in a recent review that this wasn't a good Asian restaurant. She felt that it was just O.K. I know something about what makes a good Asian restaurant and this one has all the ingredients properly mixed. The menu is broad, the service is professional considering that it's Santa Fe, NM., the food... More

Went for lunch on advise of hotel staff. Very comfortable environment with prompt, excellent service. Great advise from staff regarding hot/spicy entrees which I love. Reasonably priced

I recently had out-patient surgery and was doped up -- my son pretty much carried me home. But I remember one thing on the way home -- eating citrus avacado tempura. OMG -- delicious in a way you would never suspect. I have been back and had it again without benefit of drugs -- still amazing. It is an appetizer,... More

Santa Fe really needs a good Asian restaraunt so I really wanted Jinja to be good. It was just okay. There was nothing wrong with my salmon or my husband's "shaking beef" but they were both uninspired without much flavor and throwaway sides. Service was very pleasant and the option to get small and large sizes of many entrees was... More
