Very casual, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere along with great coffee, tea, Italian soda, hot chocolate and veggie breakfast items.

Super smooth and delicious - a la extremely well-trained baristas! AND, one of the few coffee houses that opens before 7am - thank you!

I love coffee and when I heard they served Stumptown coffee I was ecstatic. But I left without even trying a sip of coffee. I was ignored for about 5 minutes as I waited to order (I was the only person waiting). Then another customer walked in, breezed right in front of me and someone offered to help them right... More

This place has some great coffee. Well worth the try. Often the service is fine, occasionally you might wonder if you said something to offend someone. The ambience can vary from punk rock to relaxed to great hip hop depending on who is behind the tunes at any given moment. Not the easiest place to get work done remotely, but... More

I'm a 10 year on and off resident of Santa Fe, and most recently moved from Portland, Oregon, back to Santa Fe. After living in a city dedicated to good coffee, and making coffee with perfection, it has been such a delight to frequent Betterday Cafe. Yay, is really the only thing that comes to mind. I appreciate their care... More

Betterday Coffee, in my opinion, has the best coffee in town, especially espresso drinks. It's a local joint, near La Montanita Coop on West Alameda. Not fancy, but comfortable and frequented by many, who use their coffee shop as a local "office" and meeting place. If you are visiting Santa Fe, and don't mind a slight jaunt away from the... More

We had despaired after leaving the Meshuggah Cafe in St Louis that we might not get another real coffee til we returned to Oz. BUT WE HAVE STRUCK GOLD. This Santa Fe cafe has coffee in china cups, not cardboard. It is a real Australian Flat White, complete with pattern which shows you that there is real crema. I don't... More

While their coffee is delicious, the apathetic attitude and lack of friendliness do not make this a place where I want to start my day. There is a lot of potential here for a cozy, local, community vibe but the staff are trying too hard not to smile.

Stumptown coffee. Good tasting food on a light food menu because this is a coffee shop. Really great coffee. These guys and gals know how to make it. Teas, Italian sodas for the kids. Try it, it's the coffee...

Yeah, friendly is not their schtik. They are too cool for that. Seriously. Awesome, awesome coffee, yummy snacks (okay, toast and jam--unreal good). Go for the goods, not for smiles. Relax, it takes a while, too.
