Here twice over the weekend. Tried different things both times. Great breakfasts and coffee. Making this one of our favorites any time we're in town.

My sister and I stumbled upon this place when visiting Santa Fe for the day. I got a crepe filled with ham, cheese, and something else-one of their specials. It was delicious and so was the coffee. Our waiter was very attentive and when offered suggestions when I asked which dishes were popular. He also offered suggestions for acitivities to... More

My wife and I have been here twice over the past few weeks for breakfast and lunch. When this place first opened we gave it a poor review. Now we find that the service and the food are very good. They have a large selection of croissants, crepes, sandwiches, etc., and everything we had was good, including the coffee! The... More

When we arrived, only one table with guests, not a good sign. Very quickly it seemed to fill up, whew...looking better. The waiter sat us down immediately took awhile to come back over with water, then off again he came back in awhile to take our order. (Finally) he gave us the regular menu then the special restaurant week menu.... More

Dropping in without reservations may not be the best idea for Valentine's Day, but that's what we did. Atmosphere is very eclectic with suits of armor, Southwestern paintings, and floral murals. Tables quite close together, but we still had privacy. Accordian player/singer was a bit loud for easy conversation, but we still enjoyed our time there. Filet mignon was a... More

We were told that this place rated the best place for croissants by a local. Hm-m-m-m we don't think so. The croissants were not flaky, they were chewy and slightly burnt on the bottom. The crepe was some kind of translucent undercooked thing that was barely edible. We won't return.

Will go back here to try other menu items. I was there about 9:00 am while I was out walking. A little short staffed at first, but more servers arrived shortly. The menu made it very difficult to decide what to order! Wonderfully prepared, nice presentation...seemed to be mostly local patrons. Nice find.

So far, we only ate breakfast (not lunch) at the Swiss Bistro. We are repeat Customers for the simple reason that, without fail, the food is delicious. Great "Roger Federer" Muesli, croissants and brioches are very authentic and the egg dishes are simply wonderful.

I really wanted this place to be good; but, after three visits, I've scratched it off my list. The first time I ordered the proscuitto sandwich; the meat was so dry that I couldn't bite through it. Our waiter had disappeared, we waited more than 20 minutes for him to resurface, got tired of waiting so I tried cutting the... More
