Good but not great

Ate dinner here and really liked it but menu has changed and is limited. Food was good but had expected it to be great based on other reviews.

Food was okay. Service was terrible. Agree with 8/24/15 review. Waiter was spaced out. He did not know menu and blamed it on "them changing it all the time." I ordered crepes...the menu said they came with fruit and choice of potato. The waiter brought the crepe, with nothing else. I had to ask about the potato's twice. They finally... More

The server was spacey and unreliable, didn't write down orders, had to return multiple times to double check, and not very attendant with waters, condiments requested, etc. The food was just ho hum. I had the BLT with avocado and the tomato, which should be great at the height of summer, was past its prime and mushy. Overall we just... More

When one first walks into this restaurant and spies the pastry cases you assume that the attention to detail festooned upon those sweets will translate to the main menu...wrong. We were served cold coffee and wilted Salad Nicoise. The "tuna" served with the salad looked like a dry piece of tofu and was about the size of a small flip... More

I picked this cafe because it was close to the hotel. What I found was not just a bakery, but a full cafe with omelets, pastries, a full breakfast and lovely decor. The service was wonderful, and just what the doctor ordered after a dinner (at another establishment) that was disappointing. This breakfast, the other hand, was the kind of... More

While the desserts are outstanding the service is not what it should be. Recently I dropped in for a quick breakfast explaining I would take the fastest thing on the menu. Twenty minutes later I got my eggs but no toast. Turns out the cook/chef was on a smoking break thus the delay.

Wait Staff woeful - slow - do not pay attention to the table needs. The food is strictly mediocre and served cool to cold when it should be piping hot. With all the other Bakeries and Restaurants in Santa Fe why put up with this one?

Our family took the train from Albuquerque and spent a relaxing morning at the park and Railyard area. We found the Swiss Bistro and came in ready for good food in a relaxing atmosphere. The menu had so many errors, it was impossible to order from it. They were out of cheese and potatoes and every question was answered defensively... More

We planned on breakfast one of our nearby favorites, but ended up here due to a 45 minute wait. We should have known better when there was not another customer in the place on a weekend morning. My wife ordered 2 eggs, bacon and hash browns which would be a nominal $5 - $7 in most places, but here goes... More
